I am sad to have to sell this lovely lady but unfortunately I just do not have the room to keep her. I have a second bike and this girl does not get the attention and the use that she needs! This bike is so solid! There are no running issues what-so-ever! The carbs have been rebuilt, the front and rear brake calipers have been rebuilt, valve adjustment and new valve cover gasket, new chain, tires still have lots of life, new battery purchased in May 2016 and a new petcock(fuel valve.) She has 13,600 original miles! All lights are working, fuel gauge works, gear position indicator(4th gear does not light up on the indicator, needs new bulb.) This girl is all original! The bike starts up every time and it runs great, but I don't know why after a while when I stop idling it just dies. I thought it was a carburetor issue, so I called a mechanic and he checked everything out but he couldn't find any issue with carburetor. It is clean, there is no vacuum leak and it seems be in perfect condition. As he was charging me per hour (and it took a long time) I couldn't afford more to get deeper in this inspection. Some people said it can be just a jet issue and other one said to just ride it as it is and it will probably get better with time. But I don't know. To be honest I don't want to waste more time and money with it, and since I have other bike (cruiser) I just decided to sell this bike as it is for a low price for someone who understand about it.
