46,915 miles and running strong! The engine feels tight--like a bike with a LOT fewer miles on it--VERY responsive and surprisingly nimble. New Dunlop Trail Max TR91 tires front and rear at about 45,100. I'm getting 50-52 mpg! This beast has spent quite a bit of time off-road, so it's a little marked up with badges of honor--nothing major. I rode it last weekend from Tacoma, WA to the Horizons Unlimited Travelers' Meeting Naksup, BC and had a great time in the mountains, the curves, and even the boring stretch of Interstate highway. It is tremendously capable and ready to go out adventure riding as-is. The current jetting is good past 8,000 feet and you should only have to adjust the fuel mixture screw at higher altitudes and/or when the temperature drops significantly. A top-end rebuild was done at ~42,000 miles. The previous owner stated he changed the oil every 1-2000 miles with Rotella 5w40; I continued with the same, though I did change it after riding the WA Backcountry Discovery Route (BDR) even though it wasn't time yet. Mods: • Cogent rear shock with 8.3 Eibach spring • Straight rate fork springs (.50) • Seal savers on front forks • Seat redone by previous owner (make unknown) • TM40 pumper carb properly jetted w/ T-mod installed @ 41,600 miles--transformed the bike! • New TwinAir filter @ 41,000 (just cleaned and oiled) • Modified airbox with app. 1/4" wire mesh screening neatly installed to keep any critters out • Current gearing is 15/45 • Brand new Warp9 adjustable lower rear chain guard • ProTaper S.E 7/8" bars • Moose Racing aluminum guards with black plastic guards (previous owner scraped one pretty good; it's still structurally sound • DRC Offroad fold in mirrors • Heated grips with a high and low setting • HeatTroller for heated vest or similar (I personally never used it and its not hooked up) • New battery installed @ 44,550 • 2 x 12v power outlets (cig adapter type and euro type) • DDM 55w 5000k HID with hi/lo bulb in original headlight housing installed @ ~41,600 (a whopping 5500 lumens of lighting) • 4x 10w 1000 lumens auxiliary lights operated by a toggle switch (provides 4000 lumens) • New DRZ rear tail lens assembly installed early 2015 • Happy Trails SD racks and aluminum panniers system • 4.9 gallon IMS fuel tank • Raptor fuel petcock installed @ ~41,000 • FMF Powercore4 exhaust with spark arrestor installed @ ~41,400 • Headpipe weld grounded smooth • DIY black front fairing (extremely stable even above 90 mph) makes a HUGE difference on the highway • Polisport black and yellow front fender (installed late 2014) • Aftermarket aluminum full skid plate • Lowered front footpeg brackets • IMS-style aftermarket wider foot pegs (no name stamped that I could see) • "Rack-It" Pro Moto Billet Aluminum rear rack Recent Maintenance: • Oil changed @ 46,716 • Dunlop TrailMax TR91 rear tire @ ~45,100 • Dunlop TrailMax TR91 front tire @ ~45,100 • Brake fluids changed @ ~43,000 • Fork oil and shock oil replaced @ ~42,100 • EBC Sintered brake pads front and rear (front has 2/3's left and rear is nearly full) • Gold DID chain and sprockets @ ~40,600 • Previous owner stated he replaced the steering head bearings, clutch plates, and springs • New Cush drive and full set of rear wheel bearings @ ~42,800 • The top end has been refreshed with new piston rings, valve seals, gaskets, etc. When the top end was apart, everything looked great and did NOT look and spec like a 40k engine - except for the top piston ring gap being out of spec. It runs like new. I also have spare oil filters, spark plugs, a new rear tube, and the factory Service Manual for you. The only reason I'm selling this bike is that I am heading to Asia for at least a year and it deserves an owner who will ride it. Western Washington is BEAUTIFUL this time of year (and many others) and this would be a great time for a fly-and-ride. The wild fires are NOT near here and I can help you with route planning to avoid them if you're heading east. Thanks for reading--you'll LOVE this bike!

2015 Suzuki DR 650, Traverse the terrain of your choice on the 2015 Suzuki DR650S. This dual-sport cycle is designed to conquer less than ideal conditions. The inverted cartridge front forks combine the best features of conventional and inverted designs to provide the smoothest riding experience possible, while the 645 cc engine gives you more than enough push to get up the hills or down the highways. Your riding conditions may change regularly, but the DR650S’s performance won’t.
