For sale is my 1979 Yamaha XS650 Street Tracker. It had to be black so when I started trying to figure out how to integrat the headlight into my front number plate it was a no brainer. Plus the Iconic #3 just adds more symbolism to the era this bike came from. It is built from the ground up using quality parts and much attention to every detail. Many parts were custom fabricated or machined and nothing was under engineered or left to wonder about long term reliability. The engine is completely rebuilt with 940 miles of careful break in and fun rides. The bike is the product of a 3 year carefully thought out project. The frame was media blasted and primed with acid etch primer and 3 heavy coats of single stage black polyurethane enamel. EVERY bushing , bearing and seal were replaced. Brake calipers were rebuilt and custom machined for a more modern look. Rotors drilled and surfaced. New alternator rotor, voltage regulator/rectifier and gel battery installed. New handlebars, new front master cylinder, ASV levers and cables. All engine covers polished and clear coated. Front forks and fork braced polished and clearcoated. Dunlop K180 dirt track racing tires front and rear. Tank and XR styled seat pan/rear fender are base coat and clearcoated and smooth as glass. Custom upholstered seat and padding with a red accent to compliment the red outlined Earnhardt numbers. I could go on but I think you can see the rest of what is on the bike. Its a beautiful build, very neat and tidy with attention to every possible detail. Runs very strong and sounds awesome with the Ascot styled exhaust and shorty megaphones that have a small but effective bit of baffling installed. I am sure there will be lots of questions about whether every little part and clutch plate and spring and cam chain etc have been replaced ,.... the answer is yes !! every part on the bike has been gone through and any normal replacement part was either in excellent condition or it was replaced. And by the way this is a kick start only bike,... it would be unholy to use a starter button on something that is so beastly and wicked. This is a Street Tracker that I believe is as well built and cosmetically perfect as any I have seen on Ebay. You will NOT be disappointed. It is stunning and capable . I have just about every receipt for the parts that are on the bike. It along with the paint supplies add up to nearly what my reserve is,.... and as usual the number of hours put into such a creation cannot be fathomed,.... and in this case astronomical. Look very closely at the pictures,.. the level of detail and attention to perfection on this bike is awesome !!! Thanks for looking and good luck bidding. 1977 Yamaha XS650 What I have here is a 1977 Yamaha XS650D. In June of 2013 when I bought the bike it had 2599 original miles. The history of the bike goes like this. The bike comes from Indiana. The original owner had the bike and never rode it much. He was afraid of motorcycles. The bike just sat in his garage. A friend of his bought it from him and it sat in his garage. Then comes the guy that I bought the bike from. In 2010 He was on his way from his home in Canada to his home In Florida making a stop in Indiana where he was buying some Honda 160’s that the guy had. He saw something covered with a tarp in the garage and asked to see it and this is what was under it. Needless to say he bought this and the Honda’s and took them all to Florida. Then in 2013 I was lucky enough to have this bike cross my path. So I’m the 4th owner of this bike. Now the bike. The paint and chrome are original and in outstanding condition. When I got the bike it needed some special attention. Here is what I did. The wheels were removed and broken down. Hubs were polished. Rims were polished. Reassembled with stainless steel spokes and then I installed new Dunlop K70 tires with new tubes and rim strips. Then I started on the striping and polishing of the engine cases, fork legs, and exhaust. The engine was serviced with new oil filters, clutch plates, thrust washer, spark plugs, gaskets and seals. Valves and cam chain were adjusted. New handle bars and grips were installed. Front master cylinder and caliper were rebuilt. Caliper piston was replaced. The rotor was resurfaced. New front brake pads. Carbs were cleaned and synced. The seat was recovered with a great looking reproduction cover made in the United Kingdom . The foam and seat pan are in great shape. Maintence free battery installed and charging system checked. If you are lucky enough to find one of these bikes that hasn’t that haven’t been altered is one thing but to find one in original condition like this is unbelievable. You are problly asking yourself if these are truly hard to come across in this condition then why is he selling it. Well I’m putting up for sale just to see it there is any Interest in the bike. I have a number of bikes in my collection which I would consider one of a kind. Every now and then I advertise one to see if there is any interest. The price I list is the price it is going to take to buy one of my special bikes. If no one steps up to the price I will continue to enjoy and ride the bike myself until the right buyer comes along. The current mileage is 3169. I love riding it. And the attention that it gets is Unbelievable, But it deserves it. If you want and maybe need to own a bike like this call me at 239-596-3695 and ask for Randy. I can answer any of your questions and arrange a showing for you. Thanks for looking.

1973 Yamaha TX750 in excellent (not perfect) shape. It's rare to find a bike this old in such nice condition. Air cooled, four stroke, parallel twin cylinders, 763 cc, 1 down/4 up, disc brakes in the front and a drum in the back. 6300 miles. Original paint, runs great, includes vintage era Windjammer III fairing and windshield. I bought this from it's second owner who owned it since 1976. The original headlamp is still mounted to the bike beneath the fairing, and is in pristine condition. Seat, tank, exhaust, carbs, and most of everything else is original. The paint is in VG+ condition with only a few minor blemishes. It really is a looker. I made a few minor modifications to the bike to make it more maintainable: 1) Back in the day, Yamaha issued a recall on this bike because of an oil frothing issue. The factory correction was the addition of a 2" oil pan extension. I found one of these on eBay and mounted it to the bike. (See photo). This piece alone was $200. 2) I modified the oil filter system. The original oil filters are no longer available. But, I found a design on line which I follow. This bike now uses off-the-shelf BMW R65/R80 filters available online or in any bike store. However, I will sell the bike with all the original oil filter hardware in case you want to return to the original design. 3) Likewise, the original air filters are not available. So, I took off the air box and replaced it with a pair of K&N Oval Tapered filters that K&N recommended. They work great. And again, the original air box comes with the bike so you can change it back if you'd like. I also coated the inside of the tank with KBS brand Motorcycle Tank Sealer. This stuff did an excellent job. I also put on new OEM petcocks. (This bike has a ton of parts in common with the Yamaha XS650 - a very popular bike in the 70's and there's still a ton of aftermarket and OEM parts available.) Original Yamaha luggage rack and sissy bar/back rest. Small rip in the vinyl of the back rest. Some interesting features for a bike its age: Trip odometer, Cruise control, brake pad wear indicator and rear light outage indicator. Highway bars are not original, but were added to the bike in the 70's. Also comes with JVC Bluetooth In-Dash Digital Media Receiver with Dual USB Ports and Remote Control installed into the dash of the fairing - stereo gets 4 ½ out of 5 stars on Amazon. You can actually charge your phone off the stereo's USB port, and connect via bluetooth to your smart phone or mp3 player; Awesome sounding 3" Vetter speakers. Lot of extra parts go with bike, both new and vintage ... New: Oil filter, several oil pan gaskets, front brake pads, a few extra spark plugs. Vintage (from previous owner): Original foot pegs, extra rear sprocket, points, extra original filters, and a few other things. Also included: Original Owner's manual and Maintenance Manual. The only thing I know that's wrong with it is the battery seems to be losing it's ability to hold a charge. If I let it sit for more than a week or so, I've got to charge it so it turns over enough to start it. It does kick start fine though. Rear luggage does not come with the bike.
