This is a very clean TDM. It is all original with no modifications. It looks, starts and runs great. The miles are accurate. The fork seals are starting to leak, but I have ordered new ones. The miles could go up slightly if I have time to ride. If you want this shipped, YOU have to set it up. If you have any questions, call or text me at (615)423-9473. Bernie.

I am the second adult owner of this somewhat rare Dark Violet colored 1993 Yamaha TDM 850E, showing just 39K miles on the clock, over 30K miles of which I rode myself.   Incredibly strong runner, the bike starts, rides, shifts and stops like new.   Meticulously maintained and in excellent condition, as follows: Like-new set of matching Michelin Pilot Road tires New (NOS) Yamaha saddle Cosmetically very clean-a few expected dings, small scratches Never been down All new fluids-oil, coolant, fork oil, brake fluids, chain lube Factory exhaust recently replaced, some scratches on right can, but in excellent condition Battery Tender wiring, automotive horn Aftermarket MRI touring windscreen Euro headlights (super-bright!) Clean Southeast bike, sold new in TN, now located in Birmingham, AL Clear Alabama title, continuously tagged and insured since purchase Both original Yamaha ignition keys included Includes a Yamaha factory service manual, factory parts manual and owner’s manual (all digital) Major services performed at 27K miles Front/rear brake pads, brake fluid replaced Chain/ sprockets replaced All Cables lubricated Thermostat, coolant, spark plugs replaced Valve adjustment check (no adjustment needed) This bike is absolutely in “ride home” condition and is a top 90% example of this “do-all” bike.  Leave the Michelins on and enjoy the TDM as a comfortable sport-tourer as I have or change tires and you have a great entry level dual-sport bike at a great price.

Candy Apple Red, First Generation (Serial No. 000659) 1989 Yamaha TDM 850D motorcycle with very low mileage, clear title, and in excellent condition. Garage kept, never been lain down or even knocked over. Large capacity 5.4 gallon fuel tank. 849cc Liquid-cooled, 4-stroke engine with plenty of power to handle the busiest traffic. Comes with original Owner's Manual as well as the shop manual. Regardless of whether you are trying to beat traffic or need to negotiate around a tight bend at high speeds, this Yamaha TDM 850 is certainly capable of being your go-to bike no matter where you go. Originally TDMs were created as off-road bikes, however, many bikers discovered that the TDM 850 was a simply a bundle of fun for both racing and cruising purposes. Additionally, as beginning bikers take on the handlebars for their very first racing bike, the wide handle bars, well-spread balance, and medium-range Yamaha TDM engine featured on these bikes creates an icon of handling and maneuverability.

Jonathan Peck, Business Manager I can remember, as a kid, riding around the Dallas area with my Dad in one of his many Porsches naming off the year, make, and model of “any” cool car we saw. That fueled my obsession with cars very early in life. Cars were my passion long before they became a business for me. My career in the automobile industry started just out of high school working in the Parts Department of Reliable Chevrolet and although I swore I would never sell cars for a living, I eventually gave in and decided to give it a try. My sales career began in the Automobile Leasing business. The contacts I met there gave me the opportunity to take a Sales position with the local Lamborghini franchise. The relationships I built over the next decade have since grown into many long term friendships with people all across the United States and abroad. Did I mention that selling exotics is the ULTIMATE job a car guy could ever ask for!! 1992 Yamaha TDM 850 - Bike is located in North Alabama (100 miles south of Nashville / 100 miles north of Birmingham) I have owned this bike for about 7 years and during that time I have put a little over 10,000 miles on it.... I have ridden it to the Ozarks in Arkansas, to and on the Blue Ridge Parkway, I have done 500 mile days and 1000 mile 3 day weekends on this bike and it is a joy to ride... well set up with aluminum panniers/racks, a rear rack, a 12 volt power outlet for gps / radar detector etc... it has an oversized Clearview windshield (no longer made) and a comfortable Corbin seat (original seat included if you want it ) Several years ago I replaced the rectifier /voltage regulator.... About 750 miles ago I paid dearly for the infamous TDM carb fix.... this solves the stumble off idle and improved mpg greatly..(usually about 45 mpg loaded) at the same time I had a new chain installed, new battery (still strong) the valves adjusted, the oil and filter changed and a new Michelin Anakee rear tire... The bike runs great and I wouldn't hesitate to head out just about anywhere in the morning... The bike is in great shape for a 22 year old motorcycle but it is not perfect. If you are looking for a museum quality bike, then look elsewhere please. This bike has been used and well cared for by a middle aged male rider who simply doesn't have time to ride any more. All the signals and lights work. The horn works. Everything works as it should. The only issues that will need attention in the forseeable future are: front tire (plenty of tread but will need to be replaced before rear), rear brakes (will need replacing before too long) The tach does not work, but I bought an entire speedo/tach cluster and never got around to swapping out the tach. There is a small hole in the front fender (about the size of a quarter) caused by debris getting stuck between tire/fender and rubbing hole ...the hole is covered by sticker not a big deal.. It starts with choke, fast idles til warm (just like all Yamahas), runs smoothly, shifts smoothly and through all gears as it should. Nothing to stop you from riding it 300 miles tomorrow if you want. The paint is not perfect, but is better than many bikes I have seen.. there are a few chips around the gas tank filler as seen in photos, the plastic trim has a few scratches and a few fasteners missing, the mufflers have a few scratches and wear marks, Includes the mounted / removeable pair of aluminum panniers with zip nylon liners, SW Motech quick release racks, a rear custom made aluminum rack plate and a Givi knockoff case (large enough for 2 full faced helmets) These accessories alone (if you can find them) would cost $1500 - $2000. This is a great bike and for anyone not familiar with the Yamaha TDM it was imported to the US only during 91-92, but was/is hugely popular in Europe... parts are easy to get at your local dealer or online, it runs like a Yamaha with few problems...tires, brakes, oil and filter and gas will keep you going for many miles to come .. very low maintenance and the known issues have already been taken care of for you !! The seat was made for a rider with 30-32"inseam and I can flat foot the bike fine at 5'10" / 30" inseam. It is great for gravel forest service roads and highway use or around town. Not too heavy, but with enough power for 2 up riding and luggage capacity for weekend camping trips, cross country travel, etc... I have clear title in hand, and am happy to show bike to anyone seriously interested. I am not interested in shipping or assisting with shipping. US Buyers only please.
