2007 Suzuki Gs 500, I bought it new from the dealer. This bike has been really good to me, it's great on gas and it's a really fun ride. Perfect as an entry level bike, a fuel efficient commuter bike, or just as a weekend rider. It's never been dropped. There is a small tear on the left fairing. I bought this very, very nice bike on September 29 for $1300, and on my "maiden voyage" took a spill -- and broke my collarbone! Since my shoulder and head (wearing a helmet, thankfully) took the brunt of the impact, except for some minor gravel scratch on the engine the bike emerged otherwise unscathed. But now I have no choice to look at it for the next 2-3 months while my injury heals. I'd rather have someone enjoy it while the weather is still decent.The bike is in excellent shape -- seat is flawless, brakes are great, and and the parallel twin runs like a charm. There is a some surface rust on the exhaust pipes from the engine (but no holes) and the center stand (which still works flawlessly). At just under 14,500 miles there should be a whole lot of life yet in this puppy. I just installed a brand new battery. I also have a new chain that still in its box. Both items were purchased from American Motor Sports in Nashville (the local Suzuki dealer). It's got clean and clear Tennessee Title. Like I said I bought it for $1300, but hauled it up from Brentwood to Nashville ($80), taxed and titled it ($160), insured it ($75) -- and of course had to sit in the emergency room for 5 hours ($125). So all told I have over $1700 into it, and haven't ridden it more than several blocks. So not to be a hardliner or anything, but $1200 is kinbd of my bottom line -- I'd rather not entertain offers of anything less. If I can't get $1200 -- and this is a LOT of bike for that money -- I am inclined to let it sit for a few months while I heal. Then again, money talks...Thanks!

Great motorcycle. Absolutely nothing wrong with it I just do not have any need for it. The condition is great runs like a top and took it on a ride just the other day. Looks great, there are no scuffs or wear marks on it. There is a brand new Puig windshield, new oil change and the tires are in great shape. The motorcycle is going to be pick up only. As long as you can get here the motorcylce is more than ready to take you anywhere else.

So, I bought this bike 2 months ago. It's a great bike, super smooth, good on gas. Only selling because I now need the money more than the bike. Has just 16700 miles on it. When I bought it, it had 14800. Hasn't had any problems since I bought it. It's ready to go, nothing needed. Only thing I did was change the front sprocket from stock 16 teeth, to an 18 tooth sprocket. This reduces power but increases fuel economy. I rode it to LA and back one day from San Diego (where I live) and calculated 55MPG. But that was at a constant 6000 RPM. If you ride around off the highway, you should be able to keep the RPM's to 4-5000 and get even better than that. I can give you the stock sprocket with your purchase of the bike if you want to change it back. Brakes very responsive. Barely feel bumps with the suspension. Shifts very smooth. Tires are in great shape. Still have the new tire hairs sticking out the side of the tires! Cosmetically, it's a beautiful bike. Has normal hairline scratches here and there. Previous owner had a light scrape up on the left side. Fairing is a bit scratched just at the top left edge and the left side of motor a little scratched. I touched up the fairing with touch up paint. Not very noticeable. Also a little scuff on muffler. And a few scratches around where the key goes in (I think previous owner had his whole key chain banging around and that scratched it up). I just use my motorcycle key separate to avoid that. Also, there were a bunch of stickers on windshield when I got it, and I had trouble getting them off. Got them off, but damaged the windshield doing so, so I painted it black. Please see the pictures for an idea of condition. I tried to take pictures of any cosmetic issues in the spirit of full disclosure so you can't say, "hey, there's one more scratch than you said, I want to return the bike!" And honestly, I'm over-describing it in that spirit, because first impression seeing the bike is "damn, that's a beautiful bike". I hear it all the time. Just renewed CA registration. Registration is now good until June 2016! Any other questions, feel free to ask. I looked up shipping costs which you will need to pay separately or come get the bike. I found a company that could take the bike all the way to NY for under $600. So I assume if you're closer than that, the prices go down. But you may want to check before purchasing. $500 deposit due within 48 hours. Full payment due within 7 days. Bike will ship when full payment received.
