I bought this at a lemay collector car auction about 3 years ago as kind of a basket case. it was all there but ugly and not running I modified it quite a lot . it has a 200 17 front tire..dual rear tires. a ford 2.3L 4 cyl adapted to a vw trans. header and a supertrap muffler dual backup cameras for rear view mirrors. a marine am/fm cd with usb input. new rear disk brakes with parking brake (parking brake not hooked up) no front brakes. as of july 28 2015 new items installed are... 4 rear tires .. distuributor fuel pump coil chrome alt. starter clutch rear air shocks motor was removed and had crank turned 10/10 all new gaskets and seals. the seats were just upholstered this spring I'm shure theres plenty i'm forgetting but if you have any questions please call me @ 253 226 O265 don. it gets a ton of attention everytime I ride it. it is Washington tittled as a 1975 homemade coupe . it is for sale local so it may be removed at any time if sold !

Up for sale is a Trike project. The donor car is a 1969 VW Karmann Ghia. It is titled as a 1984 Yamaha as that is the motorcycle front end. The Karmann Ghia was cut down the center and 2’ of the center of the car was removed. I bought this project from a guy in Texas 2 years ago with the intention of finishing it. Save time and money by taking advantage of countless hours of my labor and research done over the past 4 years. Clear Title from a 2006 Honda Shadow 600 with 4259 miles on it when it was wrecked. Frame members with VIN tag still intact make it a certified motorcycle. Many extra parts from the motorcycle can be resold-rear wheel and tire, seat, gas tank, rear fender, shocks, etc. This is a custom built project that started with a Mustang II Independent Front Suspension with all new components from a hot rod shop. Crossmember, control arms, rack and pinion, hubs, rotors, wheels, 2 new Michelin tires on Ford steel wheels, brake calipers and pads, Shocks, Steering wheel, etc. Frame is mig and tig welded 2” x 3” x .125” rectangular tubing. Engine is 600cc Honda Shadow . I purchased the wrecked bike and it ran before being stripped for parts for the trike project. All the wiring and electronics are there, but the headlight and turn signals and speedometer were damaged in the wreck. (see photos) Rear drive is Honda Goldwing 1800 shaft drive with all pivots and suspension geometry duplicated in the new frame. A new Michelin car tire is mounted on the Honda Goldwing rim. It has a new full headrest seat from a delivery van. I have receipts for all purchases. This is not a commercial kit. It still has parts that need to be fabricated and/or purchased. It is not a lego set that you just put together. It will require a genuine interest in building something from scratch, or paying someone to do it for you. Included is a 2” 3 ring binder full of research on DOT, UTQG, FMVSS, regulations plus hundreds of sketches, notes, and 3D SolidWorks Models of the Chassis and Body Concepts as I planned it. This is a limited edition 2007 mint condition Sun Trike. In perfect condition ready to rock and roll. One modification has been done to it and that is to extend the battery poles to the top of the trike so that charging is easy with negative on black and positive on red part of trike. It has a manual that is very clear on how to fix anything that might go wrong, gives specific parts names and can be done by anyone who can do small engine repair. I have just had a mechanic go over it with a fine tooth comb and it is good to go for years to come as long as you use it a couple of times a month.A new sun trike costs $8000 and requires that you do a 750 mile break-in at no more than 45 miles an hour. This trike is in perfect mint condition and has 950 miles so there is no need for a break in time. It will top speed out at 80+ when passing, but recommends no cruising above 65. It is small and like other motorcycles, people don't watch so that you have to do defensive driving. Altho it drives like a car, it requires a motorcycle license to drive it. You must take a written test (I will enclose a copy of the book) and pass a motorcycle driving course or take a driving test. It gets 80+ miles to the gallon and because it is a motorcycle insurance coverage in inexpensive. I have full coverage for 6 months with state farm for $28.The sun trike does not have a reverse-same as other motorcycles-however, it is extremely easy to push back-one hand will do it. It drives like a 4 wheeler over rocks, hills and dales which is nice. There are 2 wheels in front and one in the rear and it is very stable-this is not going to tip on you.There are two side by side seats with seatbelts. Storage is under the seats and there are a few rudimentary tools with it. It has a remote control for the radio and cd player. As the sun-trike is made in the US, it is extremely easy to get parts for it should the need arise. Along with the direct phone number for Sun Trike dealership, I have included the phone number of the previous owner, and the phone number of the mechanic that did the battery modification and the mechanic that fixed the short in the starter for me.The Sun Trike does not have a choke so it starts cold in the winter-no trouble with it starting up if you do it regularly but you do not want to let it sit for long periods or it will have to be trickle charged. I have a trickle charger that shuts off once the trike is charged that I will throw in so that if you have weeks of bad weather or can't drive the trike for weeks, you can just put the trickle charger on it and there will be no problems. As for all the workings, the manual is very clear, has pictures, and is easy to understand.If someone lives in town, this would be ideal for toddling around in, it will drive on the highway also but drive defensively since a lot of auto drivers don't pay attention to motorcycle or trike drivers.This really is a neat trike and will drive on ground as well as pavement. dimensions are 103 x 55 x 44.fuel capacity 6 liter, transmission automatic cvt. come see it and drive it home.
