American made by Thoroughbred Motorsports, Inc. in Troup, TX. http://www.motortrike.com/trikeThoroughbredStallion.aspx I bought this Stallion new, from the dealer in Afton, OK, on May 27, 2014. As of today (June 14) I've ridden it nearly 1,800 miles through OK, AR, MO, IL, WI & MI. Today my friend and I are in Mackinaw City, MI, attending the Lilac Festival on Makinac Island. From here we're headed to Niagara Falls, then southward through OH, IN, KY & TN, before arriving Afton, OK, on July 9, where I parked my car at the Stallion dealership on May 27. (I live in TX.) By July 9, there will be 3,500 - 4,000 miles on the Stallion. I'll have had my fun and will be ready to sell it; I'm nearly 77 years old. (My sons thought I was nuts for buying it, but my grandkids think it's a cool machine.) :-) As far as I know, I purchased the last new Stallion that will ever be sold...ever! The Ford 215 engine in it is now being made in Spain instead of Detroit, and Thoroughbred Motorsports has no plans for buying the engine from the Ford plant in Spain. On May 27, 2014, I paid $33,995 plus $1,213 tax for my Stallion...a total of $35,208. It's loaded with all the standard features plus the optional wind deflectors that are really nice!
