Love my scooter!!! Moving and it's impractical to take... 2008 Street Glide 27K miles. 6 Speed tranny, cruise control, etc, etc, etc. Stored at my house in the mountains from November to March, serviced and/or upgraded parts. Stored and ridden from my storage unit from March to November. All chrome has either been removed and powder coated or powder coated parts ordered separately. I saw the original damage and it was limited to the front end only. Newbee ran into rear of a car! Prior to purchase, the frame was laser verified, but I do not have a certification. While having the lower forks replaced with a powder coated set, the local dealer did contact me to inform me that the triple tree did have some damage although minimal. I immediately authorized it's replacement with a new HD part (another $600). Other than that the dealer nor I have seen, felt or experience any other issues and as you see, I have enjoyed riding it an additional 17K safe and very reliable miles since it's purchase. It is now titled in VA. In the section of 'other pertinent data' it states 'WI Brand' (Wisconsin). I listed as clear because it is no longer a salvage title and didn't see a more accurate one. Sweet ride and I will miss 'her' a lot, but it must go to it's next proud owner. I can provide more photos upon request. I am making a 1300 mile move and can't take it. I will ride (!) her to your shipper if within my vicinity. I also have a 6 1/2' X 12' landscape type trailer that could be worked into a deal if needed. The rear belt has just been replaced and leaks are all fixed. Just had a new trans seal put on. Just spent over $800.00 on this bike. Up for sale is my beautifully restored 1975 Moto Guzzi Eldorado Police bike. This is one of the very last Loop Frame bikes ever built - matching frame and engine number VP063062. This thing is absolutely perfect! It is the nicest loop frame in the world. I just finished a complete restoration using the best of everything along with a lot of extra bling. Some highlights include: - 955cc Big Bore Kit, High Performance Cam, Restored Original Friction Siren, and Brand New Reproduction Leather Saddle Bags, all from Moe at Cycle Gardens in Huntington Beach, CA. - The engine and transmission were completely rebuilt by Stormy Cycle in Albertville, MN. This included using Cycle Garden's big bore kit and high performance cam, rebuilding and balancing everything, rebuilding the heads, and inspecting and replacing all seals and gaskets. - All the chrome was stripped, show polished and then triple chrome plated by JR's Custom Plating in North Branch, MN. I chromed a lot of extra details and it all turned out beautiful! - The paint and bodywork was completed by Albertville Auto Body in Albertville, MN. The frame was powder coated before paint. The tins were painted then sent to Cycle Gardens for pin striping and silk screening then returned for clear coat over the striping. The paint job is just beautiful! - The fuel tank was cut apart, blasted, chromed, and then welded back together, painted, and the inside coated. The chrome and paint is just beautiful. 1984 Avanti II Black w/ Running GM V8 Small Block & Tan Leather Interior VIN: 12AAV1231E1004010 I bought this 1984 Avanti II from my Grandfather earlier this year. He has owned it since the 1990s and had it repainted sometime in the late 1990s over the original black and it was enough of a low-end job that it did not last and has extensive oxidation and loss to the clear coat. So while this car runs it does need work and will need a full strip, glass work, and repaint when the mechanicals are fixed. I wanted to take this on but don't have the funds to do so. It was in storage and not driven much over the last 4-5 years after we moved him into an assisted living home and was garaged for most of that time. There are extensive paint issues as I said, but it has not been in any accidents to my knowledge. With my limited knowledge of fiberglass, I think it is in generally good shape but I will call out everything I can for you to judge for yourself. The "hog troughs" seem fine but I wasn't able to photograph them. Let me know what you want to see and I can get more images up. Starting on the drivers side rear and going clockwise- Driver's side:-Paint worn through to fiberglass under gas tank door-Extensive oxidation and clear coat damage as shown-Chips to edge of driver's side door-Cracks in fiberglass under the door (shown)-Door needs adjustment-Driver's power window not operating (I believe the motor needs replace or rebuilt)-Front Drivers Fender reflector missing Front:-Bumper has lots of paint cracks but should be restorable as is when repainted-Separation in fibreglass where turn indicators were on the original 63-64 Avanti but are glassed over in a 1984-Hood oxidized and needs adjusted as it hits the body in the front at the hinge (where there is fiberglass damage from this fact) Passenger side:-Deep scratch down to fiberglass towards front edge of passenger door extending to fender-Paint missing to fiberglass above hood-Paint missing to fiberglass on rear fender edge and above trunk Rear End:-Bumper has lots of paint cracks with signs of an impact with a pole but should be restorable as is when repainted-Trunk is electric and while it works, it gets stuck on occasion-Cracks to paint in bumper-Extensive oxidation and clear coat damage as shown Roof:-Heavy oxidation and clear coat loss-Sunroof opens but with difficulty due to leather cover on inside warping and causing friction Interior:-Extensive cracking to lacquer on wood dash elements-Leather in good shape, drivers seat has been completely redone in matching leather-Passenger seat side bolsters redone where they was worn-Plastic lens on Automatic shifter is cracked-Some warping to leather components like change pocket in center and above radio-Original Blaupunkt AM/FM cassette & Speakers (not working but prob just needs a fuse)-Carpet in decent shape Chromed Steel Wire Wheels:-All 4 with rust-Tires in fine shape but 20 years old and will need replaced Mechanical:-A/C needs recharged but fan blows and should work-Some seals needed, potentially rear end seal (?)-Engine needs general tune up-Transmission shifts smoothly-Brakes seem fine The mechanics are what I know the least about. Like I said above, this runs and gets down the highway (taken it up to 80 a couple of times). I'm looking to just get this to someone who can get it to up where it deserves to be.
