1998 HONDA SHADOW AERO VT1100 C3, 1998 HONDA SHADOW AERO TOURING EDITION- 1100cc, 5 speed trans- Very retro Honda Cream & Orange paint scheme it will generate a lot of attention and admiration! the bike was.stored in a nice heated garage for over 6 years. So absolutely will need a carb clean to make it start and run perfect again. The Aero is real Easy to ride and balance- low center of gravity so just about anybody will be flat footed which makes it easy at slow speeds. Everything works. Comes with all keys. One key operates the ignition, fork lock and one for both saddlebags. Seats are in perfect condition. like New tires front and back. very low miles for the year Plus a New battery was installed 1 week ago. The paint is awesome but it does have a dent on the top of the tank from towing in the trailer (see pictures) the handlebars twisted down and hit the tank.I am selling this bike super cheap because it needs a carb clean and dent in tank. However by next week I will have the carbs cleaned by a certified Honda mechanic and raise the price accordingly.

Garage kept, a little over 16,000 miles. Nearly 50 after-market pieces have been added. Including chromed out bar area and floorboards. Memphis Fats windshield / Highway bar and peg-chrome covers. Right and left custom painted hard bags; tail light, visor-rotors and hub covers. Stainless braided cables and brake lines; strobe brake lights, I could go on and on. 2000 Honda VT1100C3 (Shadow Aero)Factory stats: :// /motorcycles/honda_vt_1100_c3_shadow_2000.phpBlue Book Value: s:// /motorcycles/honda/vt1100c3-shadow-1100-aero/2000/?pricetype=trade-in(so, you know, 300 bucks over the trade-in value... seems reasonable, yeah?)The story:I got this bike four years ago, fixed her up, and she's been my daily driver since (unless there's ice on the road, but yes, all through winter 2015-2016 and she started and ran like a champ).Issues:- There's a hole in the seat cover (see images)- Crack in the lower support for the left-side strut. This is integrated in the rear transfer housing (it's a shaft driven bike). I have a replacement for it (quick slip-on next time tires get changed).- The fuel filter was re-located to the "glove box" (under the right side-cover).- There are two small holes drilled in the top of the left side-cover (I mounted a button connected to a garage door opener to one of them... works well).- There's a scratch on the top of one of the hard bag lids.But...After all that negative stuff... I repeat: she was my daily driver up until the first snow this past winter. She fired up immediately today and I took her for a spin around town and on the freeway.The bottom line:I'd like to say that I'm pretty firm on the price, but a "right now, as is, cash in hand" offer goes a long way. I've got the title ready to go. I've got it parked outside (first time this bike has left outside since I've had it) so you can drive by and have a look. 2000 Honda Shadow AERO, 2000 Honda VT1100C3, immaculate second owner bike. You'll find Aero 750s in this price range but the 1100 has more power and is better for two riders. This is one of the nicest bikes you'll see and easily the nicest for the money. Serviced by Mungenast, new battery, new tires, new brakes, transmission and carbs serviced. The brand new Vance & Hines Longshot pipes give it that Harley rumble but with the low maintenance and reliability of a Honda. It sounds amazing, not just a little louder than stock but that perfect balance you won't find on most bikes. Lots of chrome, real leather saddlebags, perfect paint, removable windscreen, sissy bar, wire wheels with wide whitewalls, shaft drive, always garaged and never ridden in the rain. I also have the stock pipes and Clymer Maintenance Manual to go with it. Nobody believes it's a Honda and absolutely nobody believes it's a 2000 model, looks showroom fresh with a little over 19,000 miles and these bikes will easily go 100,000 miles. You can look at other bikes in this price range but this bike stands out from them all. Clean title in hand and as good as she looks, these pictures don't do her justice. $4,000.00

This is by far the best model of the Honda Shadow ever made. The 1100 V-Twin Aero is an awesome looking cruiser and rides great. Second owner with a clean title. 13,806 miles. Few chrome accessories added. Beautiful whitewalls and floorboards for that nostalgic look. Only has about 25% left on tires. Get on the road for tons less than a similar looking Harley Davidson Softail Deluxe. Very reliable bike that has been garaged all it's life. New batterie installed in May '14.
