For sale is a 2006 Honda CBR100RR in classic Honda Red. This bike has 5,373 original miles, that’s essentially only 500 per year. It has had the oiI and filter changed every 1,000 miles using Honda HP4 Racing Oil. It has new front and rear Bridgestone tires as well as a new battery, a $200 item. This bike has never been dropped, stunted, ridden in the rain or even red-lined. I am the original and only owner of this bike. I am a 58 year old life-long motorcyclist. It has spent it’s entire life in my garage, on race stands, on a battery tender and under a cover. It lives better than I do. This bike has also never had a passenger. I don’t ride passengers so I removed the pegs and replaced the rear seat with the solo-cal. I also removed the rear fender and put the Ride systems fender and plate holder on. All of the unused original removed parts come with the bike in a box. The bike is also PA inspected until July 2017 and of course I have the title in hand. This bike has a timeless design, it is a monster. No slipper clutches, no ABS, a pure motorcycle. If you went back in a Time Machine and brought a CBR100RR forward from 2006 to present, that bike sits in my garage. I also put a Zero Gravity wind screen on it because a bird crapped on the original screen. The old one comes with the purchase as well. If you pass up this bike at least let me give you some advice. Do not waste your money on a 600 Sport Bike. I’ve had them, they are exhausting. You are never in the right gear. Buy a liter bike like this beast. It’s the easiest bike that I have ever ridden. With so much HP and Torque, you are never in the wrong gear. I can short shift her into 6 th gear at less than 30 mph. From that point on, roll on the throttle to go fast, let off to let the compression brake you. It practically steers itself. Teens etc beat on 600’s. Unless your name is Valentino Rossi, you are not beating on a liter bike, it’s too much bike and we are too poor of riders. We limit it. Why am I getting rid of it? The lack of time to ride, it’s that simple. It needs a new Master. I have priced it based on NADA sites but it is worth more. Thanks for consideration. Pick-up only, sorry. I'm in the Western Philadelphia suburbs just south of West Chester, PA

2014 Yamaha YZF-R1, YZF-R1 The superbike champion. With back-to-back Superbike Championships in 2011 and 2012 and packed with MotoGP technology, the YZF-R1 is the most advance Open Class sportbike on the planet. And unlike anything else. That's because it's the world's first production motorcycle with a crossplane crankshaft. Resulting in incredibly smooth power delivery and outrageous torque for a rush like never before. From the track to the street, the R1 truly is "the 1". Key Features Top triple clamps add to the appearance of the YZF-R1, reminiscent of those on the MotoGP powerhouse YZR-M1. Factory racers get machines tailored to their preferences. Welcome to the club. R1 has adjustable footrests, with a 15mm height and 3mm front-to-rear adjustment. Seven-level Traction Control System allows the rider to get more traction and drive while exiting corners. Have it your way, thanks to Yamaha D-MODE (or â Drive Modeâ ) variable throttle control. There are three modes that control how YCC-T responds to throttle input from the rider. The selectable â Aâ mode puts more emphasis on engine response in low to midrange rpm. â Bâ mode, on the other hand, provides less sharp response to input for riding situations that require especially sensitive throttle operation. The standard map is designed for optimum overall performance. Selecting the map you want is as easy as pressing a button on the handlebars. Slipper-type back torque-limiting clutch greatly facilitates braking/downshifting from high speed. To maximize rider comfort as well as power output, the engine adopts a coupling-type balancer that rotates in the opposite direction as the crankshaft. This engine features forged aluminum pistons to take maximum advantage of the power characteristics. Titanium intake valves are lightweight. The sound on the YZF-R1 is unlike any other inline-four cylinder production supersport. The precise and throaty pulse of the exhaust note will have riders enthused every time the thottle is opened. This R1 keeps all the technological superiorities developed for its predecessor: YCC-T (Yamaha Chip Controlled Throttle) is a MotoGP inspired fly-by- wire technology used to deliver instant throttle response. YCC-I is Yamaha Chip Controlled Intake which is a variable intake system that broadens the spread of power. The fuel injection system provides optimum air/fuel mixtures for maximum power and smooth throttle repsonse. LED position lights enhance the YZF-R1â s unique styling. The frame has a combination of uncompromising rigidity where needed along with carefully achieved flex for the precise rigidity balance this bike needs to give the rider the full benefit of its handling and engine characteristics. It is a sophisticated combination of Controlled-Fill die-cast, stamping, and gravity castingâ ¦ the exact technology needed for each portion of this advanced frame. The YZF-R1 ben
