For sale is an absolutely gorgeous 1996 Honda Goldwing Interstate with lots of extras. It starts, runs, and shifts perfectly. It has been garaged since I have owned it, and am selling it since I don't ride it as much, especially with a new baby. It has 64K miles on it, and as any Goldwing owner will tell you, these bikes can cross the 200K mark easily. I last changed the oil and filter at 62233 miles. Since I bought the bike from the previous owner, I have installed new tires, battery, plugs, headlight bulbs. Here are the extras: Kuryakyn ISO-Grips with throttle rocker (ISO throttle boss)K&N Air filter2 Rear speakers (for a full set of 4 - 2 in front and 2 in the rear)Driving/cornering light set with chrome shieldFairing markers, trunk and saddle bag light setsClymer repair manual, 2 sets of keys, and a clear Georgia title. An old XL helmet - if you want it I will take cash or Cashiers checks only. I am not interested in ANY trades, and do not need any help in selling this bike. Also, please no joyrides.

Hello, fellow riders! It is with mixed emotions that I am listing my 1999 Honda Valkyrie Interstate. I love this bike, but I have to pay for graduate school soon. So, without further ado, here is her story: I bought her from a dealer in Boulder, Colorado in May 2000. The original owner put on 2,800 miles before trading in for an 1800 Goldwing. In the past 15 years I have averaged less than 2,500 miles/year for a total of 37,544. When not being ridden or washed the bike has been garaged or in my motorcycle trailer for its entire life. No engine modifications: her six cylinders and 1500 ccs have gotten me everywhere I needed to go. I have added the following over the past several seasons: Passenger arm rests (not pictured)6-disc CD player with dashboard controllerAux cord for MP3 playerKuryaken grips and highway pegsMustang saddle with backrestProtective bra on fairingTank bag with pocketRear speakers And chrome, chrome, chrome! Never dropped or wrecked. I have most of the maintenance records with the most recent work being: brand new battery (today); replaced choke cable (2015); replaced front fork seals and water pump (2013). Tires are in great shape. This baby is ready to ride! Cosmetically she is in decent shape, especially for a 16 year-old bike. As this bike was actually ridden and not just for show, the whole thing could use a wax job and some chrome polish. You may enjoy removing the engine covers and giving it a deep cleaning. The rubber gaskets for the aftermarket trunk rack and saddle bag racks are cracking. The chrome oil filter cover is pitted and could be polished or replaced. The left turn signal works but the left amber running light stopped working recently for some unknown reason. While not pictured, the antenna is included (I just take it off before putting it in the trailer). The kickstand is scuffed and has some rust. I recently purchase a 1999 Ford F-350 on Ebay for $10,000. The seller did not disclose some of the truck's issues and I have dropped another $4,000 into it. Needless to say, I am pretty sensitive to the issue of full disclosure! I believe I have disclosed all of the known issues of this fine machine. Please let me know what questions you have.I am under a tight timeline but may be able to trailer the bike to Salt Lake City or Las Vegas. I am moving from southern Utah to Virginia on December 9th. $1,000 deposit required within 24 hours of close of auction. The balance is due within 3 days by PayPal or cash. Thanks for bidding and ride safe! -David

One owner, only 252,000 miles so it’s broken in, not broken down. No engine work; still needs no oil added between changes; complete maintenance records from Day 1. Other than oil changes, the next service I recommend at 275,000 will be spark plugs, wheel bearings (front), and air filter (already purchased for you). Unless you drive crazy, tires may last until then also (my average has been 25g on tires). Service Manual comes with my notes and helpful additional excerpts from Wing World articles over the years. I left for my trip to AK in 2009 as the odometer was turning over 200,000 and I would have no reservations about taking it there again if I could. My hips are just getting too bad to handle her in the parking lots so she needs a new home – someone who can add more miles to the odometer. Although this is the cheaper (Interstate) model GL1500, I added a Honda CB radio and speakers in the fairing. Most of the bike is stock because it has been used at well over 100 motorcycle rallies to demo Mick-O-Pegs since 1999. If you have been to Wing Ding, you may be one of multiple thousands of people who have set on this bike, but it still has the stock seat with only a few minor (repaired) tears. One tear included in pics. It was also the motorcycle I used when I rode 15,333 miles in 6 weeks to the 48 contiguous states to visit the state highpoints and wrote the book “High On A Wing” so I am very attached to this bike. The mechanic who replaced the universal joint a few thousand of miles ago said ‘Your bike’s overall condition is as good as, or better than, many I’ve seen with 1/10th the miles.” The observant eye will see a few altered pieces – like some brown plastic where charcoal should be. The temperature gauge registers low, but the cooling fans will kick on when you get stuck in traffic on a hot day – just as designed. I hope you can provide a good home because this bike has a history of providing many trouble free miles of wonderful riding. Let’s talk about me delivering it to you…my last ride on my ’94 Gold Wing.
