This little FZ6 has been a fantastic bike and it still has a lot of life left in it.It has been well maintained and is in excellent running and cosmetic condition. It has always been either garage kept or stored under a heavy waterproof cover. The bike has a pair of very fresh Pirelli Angel RT tires. There are the dual compound tires that have a harder surface in the middle and softer, grippier surface near the sides. I've just thrown a coat of wax on the tank and it has a deep shine to it. There is one small dent on the tank (pictured) where the previous owner tipped it over in his garage. Most people wouldn't notice it unless it was pointed out. There are some small scratches on the tank near the gas filler and the wheels could use a deep scrub and wax.Bike will come with a cover, battery tender/charger, and strap-on saddle bags (these bags actually look rather handsome on this bike). I also have a size large Joe Rocket mesh jacket that you are welcome to. This bike is in excellent condition. It would be difficult to find a better looking and/or running Fz6 in the Carolinas. This listing is for a Yamaha FZ6 2006 model. All factory except for the removal of factory rear fender skirt and rear tail light which was replaced with a LED brake/blinker and license plate holder. (factory fender skirt included)The bike has been barely used over the past two years and is time I let it go. There is absolutely nothing wrong with this bike. I just pulled it out of storage two weeks ago and it started right up! This is a great bike for anyone looking for cheap reliable transportation.Bike maintenance: I have serviced this bike at the beginning of every riding season but it barely saw 200-300 miles each year since I bought it. It has an AGM battery so no maintenance required and the front fork seals were just replaced a year ago. The tires were replaced several years ago but they probably have less than a 1000 miles on them with a decent amount of tread left.The bike does have some scratches and nicks and should be shown in the pictures. Overall though this bike is in great shape and low mileage for the year. If you have questions or would like to see it please contact me. I will not answer numbers I do not know so please do not call. I'm asking $3200 based on what I've seen (will take $100 off price outside of ebay) and that's pretty low but I'm willing to negotiate. The rider can choose from three throttle valve control maps (Standard Mode, A Mode, and B Mode) for different performance characteristics at the push of a button. STD Mode is set to accommodate a wide range of riding conditions, for a linear torque feeling from low speeds all the way up to high speeds. A-Mode gives the rider a sharper throttle response in the low-to mid-rpm range than the STD Mode, while B-Mode lets the rider enjoy milder throttle response.
