2009 Hal's HD FAT TRACKER, FR 1750 "FAT TRACKER" The bike was built by Hal's Harley Davidson located in New Berlin, Wisconsin. As avid Dirt Track enthusiasts, Hal and his son Kirk traveled the Midwest watching races since the mid 70 s. Shortly after becoming dealers, they fielded a Flat Track race effort campaigning nationally with AMA Rider #77 Peter Hook out of Burnsville, Minnesota. While it may be the inspiration of the story, the build came about because winter in the Midwest is too damn long. Hal s crew had also seen enough tall front wheels, chromed everything, and raked baggers so they aspired to go in a different direction. Starting with a 2009 FLHR Road King, the frame underwent multiple mod s including removal of rear section and a handmade aluminum subsection for rear tail kit. The swingarm tabs were removed, holes filled and smoothed, and a mono-shock adopted from an 1125R Buell. A 2013 V-Rod front end with custom machined fork guards was used to complete the suspension. Wheels are Roland Sands Design Morris wheels and the Karoo 3 tires were procured from Metzeler. The team converted the stock belt final drive to chain, used a Baker bully outer primary cover with a converted HD hydraulic clutch. Dyna mid-controls with modified reverse shifter and rear brake master cylinder were fitted for a sleek, clean appearance. Metal fabrication is everywhere. An FLHX fuel tank was opened up (with side panels inverted) and mounts were moved forward 2 inches. Adding function to form, a handmade, louvered front splash guard and a custom aluminum under tail section fitted to a modified Vance & Hines XR1200 race tail keeps the Fat Tracker lookin clean. Lighting is supplied by a hand made aluminum front number plate with custom mounted L.E.D. headlights and turn signals. Custom tail light and signals by CPV. Joker machine switch housings were used on 1" Flanders handlebars stepped down for 7/8" Accossato radial master cylinders. The gauge face contains an IPod speedometer interface. Power is supplied by Hal's 107ci engine (175 FR 1750 "FAT TRACKER" The bike was built by Hal's Harley Davidson located in New Berlin, Wisconsin. THIS IS THE BOAT TO HAVE FOR FISHING AND FUN! A master of multi-species fishing that is outfitted for catching crappie, bass and more. With the Pro Team 175 TF, you can chase and reel in whatever species of fish your heart (or stomach) desires. For the panfish, it presents a lower bow deck that keeps you closer to the action, as well as three bow seating positions so you and your partner can man your spider rigging without getting into each other?s way. For all anglers, it provides fore and aft aerated livewells (both with a removable bait bucket), huge storage spaces throughout, two removable, fold-flat fishing chairs with multiple locations fore, aft and midship, a trolling motor and a fishfinder. And if your quarry tends to be messier (e.g., catfish), you can always opt to replace the carpet with our optional non-skid surface throughout. - This bike was built using a 1979 XS650 Special as a starting point - The bike was originally picked up from Bent Bike in Lynnwood and lemme tell ya--it was it in sorry shape. The engine was tore down and rebuilt from the ground up with new pistons, rings, pins, valves and guides and all associated gaskets and seals associated with that process. The motor only has test miles on it at this time so it is essentially a brand new motor. The frame received a full make over as well and after a few subtle modifications it was media blasted and powder coated metallic gun metal grey. The tank, seat and forks are done in a custom mixed MATRIX systems metsallic black--everything else is powder coated. The photos don't do justice to the paint job in my opinion. It really should be seen in the flesh to truly appreciate it. New and Vintage parts abound on this bike…like: •New Firestone ANS tires mounted on original Akront wheels •New 2.25” chrome mechanical speedometer •New 2.25” chrome mechanical tachometer •New KEIHN PWK semi-flat slide carbs •New Anti-Gravity 8-cell Li-Ion battery •N.O.S. Kerker 2 into 1 exhaust (very rare) •New chrome Bates style head light •New solid state Regulator/Rectifier •New PAMCO electronic ignition •New bronze swing arm bushings •New L.E.D. Lucas style tail light •New clutch plates and spacers •New Nissan master cylinder •New Brake shoes & pads •New Jackhammer grips •New speedometer cable •New tachometer cable •New tapered bearings •New pistons & rings •New L.E.D. blinkers •New Monza shocks •New XS air filters The bike is thoroughly a pleasure to ride and handles highway speeds with no problem Light & nimble in traffic and can really scoot when you want it to (can you say "power slide"?) Great bike for an experienced rider as well as a newer rider The bike is for sale for $6,500.00--CASH Not interested in any trades No checks…No “over time” payments…No scammers CLEAR TITLE AND TABS !! DRIVE IT HOME TODAY !! If interested in checking the bike out call the number listed to get directions to come check it out (360) 386-9374
