I am selling my 1996 Ducati Monster M900, when I bought this bike it had only 6,000 miles on it and ive only put a little over 2,000 miles on it. As of now it has 8,668 miles on it. This bike has been lovingly taken care of, its garage kept and is started up everyday, never been dropped or laid on its side. The previous owner is the guy who put most of the work in on this bike ive only added a few minor aftermarket parts myself. I hate selling this bike but I need to think of my family and I cant give this bike the attention it needs and deserves anymore so my loss is your gain. The bike has a clean title. Will include 2 motorcycle helmets and a jacket if interested.This bike is FAST and to be honest scares the shit out of me but its one hell of a fun ride, she sounds like a beast when you really throw the throttle down on the road. The bike runs amazingly for being a 96 she always starts up like it just came off the product line. If you love ducati monsters as much as I do pictures do not do this bike justice, just seeing it in person gave me goosebumps. looking for $5,500 because of how much work has been put into the bike and its low miles but there is a little wiggle room on the price if need be.

This listing is for a used Ducati Monster 900 with roughly 16,500 miles. Just had a Desmo 15,000 mile valve service at Fast by Ferracci. It also got a new front/rear sprocket, chain, fuel filter, brake fluid, timing belts, spark plugs, oil/oil filter. It needs a carb balance and sync, when it gets to operating temp it bogs due to improper air fuel ratio. Starts fine. Tires are in great condition. Small dent on left side of tank. Some pictures don't have the front fender installed. The bike WILL come with the white front fender.

You are bidding on a fairly rare 2001' Ducati Monster 900ie in the limited edition "Metallic" finish option.From what I have been able to find out,there were only around 50 of these produced for the US market,and I have never seen another in the flesh.This bike is in excellent overall condition,with only 2,200 miles,and ready to put on many more.Here are the details: I purchased the bike last spring from the original owner who bought it new in California,and then moved to Arizona,where very little miles were put on it.I purchased the bike,and had it shipped to me,and unfortunately,had rotator cuff surgery,and have not put the miles on it that it deserves.I did have the bike serviced,and here is what was done. The timing belts were changed due to the age,not the mileage,and the valves were adjusted.All oils/fluids & filters were changed,as well as the spark plugs.The fuel injectors were synchronized,and the bike starts up & runs great-No issues or excuses.All electronics/bulbs/lights work as they should.After everything was checked out,I obtained a set of Leo Vince Titanium mufflers,and had them installed to give it that true Ducati rumble-What a difference!I have all the original mufflers,and will include them with the winning bid.Tires are in great shape,with no dry rot or cracking. The "metallic" finish on the gas tank is really wild,and changes colors depending on the lighting condition.Has a pearlescent quality to it that really pops in the sunlight.Very cool!I installed a set of matching handlebar grips to accent the finish.Other than that,all body panels/parts are original to the bike,as are the mirrors,fenders,reflectors.No modifications were made to this bike,and it was never ridden hard.I have the original clear California title,as I never got it changed over to a PA title. These are great motors,as they have the 2 valve heads and are oil cooled for simplicity,but also have the 6-speed transmission/dry clutch,and fuel injection.Really the best of all worlds for that time period.Light weight,and handles great,and really is a blast to ride. Don't let the age full you this bike is in great shape and runs well. I have owned it for 2 years now and is a blast to ride. The previous owner told me it has a 990 head on it and the bike got laid over in transport and that is why there is a dent in the gas tank and exhaust on that side. It also has termination exhaust and sportier handle bars. It comes with all the manuals, gas tank bag, cover and jacket. I have been ridding it for 2 years and have had no trouble out of it. It runs like a top. The breaks are in good shape and the tires might need replaced in another 500 miles.
