It's an 803 cc L-twin desmo with ABS Brembo brakes. Tons of torque down low! I just had the major two year service interval done by a factory certified Ducati dealer which included new timing belts, valve check/adjustment, new air filter, new oil filter and oil, new plugs, etc. There is one year left on a three year prepaid service agreement with Great Bay Ducati in North Hampton, NH which is transferable. There is a small transfer fee involved if you choose to do this. I have both keys, the original owner's manual and the complete original tool kit. Up for sale is my 2014 Ducati Monster 1200 in excellent condition. I purchased it from Ducati Austin in Texas in 2015 with just over 800 miles on the odometer. I am the original owner and the odometer currently reads 4500 miles. It is truly an incredible motorcycle, that has been meticulously cared for, I just don't ride it enough to justify keeping it. For those not familiar with the Monster 1200, it is powered by a liquid-cooled, 1198cc Testastretta V-Twin engine that packs 135hp @ 8.750 rpm and 118 Nm (12,0 kgm) of torque @ 7.250 rpm. Other features include: Ride-by-Wire (RbW) system, Brembo brakes, Ohlins suspension and the Ducati Safety Pack (ABS, Traction Control, 3 power modes). There are also two seat height positions: 30.9 and 31.8 inches.The bike is perfect. It's completely stock with the exception of a radiator guard ($150 option), and bar end mirrors (I still have the stock mirrors boxed up if the new owener wanted them) that I’ve added. It has never been down or dropped and has been stored in my garage since purchase. The bike is financed through Ducati (VW Credit). Exhaust system The Testastretta 11° 821 engine is combined with a type 2-1-2 exhaust system, which leaves no room for doubt about the performance that the new Monster 821 is capable of unleashing. The engine control unit has a lambda probe for each individual cylinder, guaranteeing delivery of the right amount of fuel, while the stylish vertically stacked cannon silencers are equipped with catalytic converters that ensure compliance with Euro 3 standards. An electronically controlled mid-section adjustment valve optimises exhaust pressure according to engine speed. Service intervals The meticulous design and top-quality materials used for the Monster have allowed amazing results to be achieved. Adjusting the valve clearance is scheduled for every 30,000 km and changing the oil every 15,000 km, increasing service intervals and cutting running costs.
