I’ve spent the last 2.5 years working on and restoring this bike. Do not confuse this Black Bomber with some of the others for sale on eBay. A LOT of time and money has gone into making this what it is today. It was torn down to the frame and almost everything has been powdercoated, re-chromed or polished. Bike runs fantastically well and literally everything works as it should. The starter button actually works and the bike fires up on the first hit. Even the horn works! I have done a few things to the bike that are not stock, but easily reversible. I replaced the stock rear shocks with Progressive ones from Dime City because of the huge improvement in ride quality. I still have the original rear shocks that will be included in the auction. The handlebars were swapped out for moto gp bars. When I purchased the bike it had a non-original handlebar that was bent, so I replaced it with the existing bar that rides really nicely. If you are one of those guys that has to have an absolutely original bike, just swap a few parts back on and you are good to go. Most of these parts will be included with the bike. The original front fender and factory chain guard (freshly blasted and powdercoated) are all original to the bike and included in this sale. Easily installed if so desired. Also included in the auction is a spare, factory top end. I had intended on swapping out the cylinder head jug because there it has a fin that has been broken off. My long term plan was to rebuild the motor and have the rest of motor painted and/or powder coated when the time came. However, the motor is healthy and has fantastic compression so I just haven’t torn it down. Fuel tank was soaked, cleaned and powdercoated a flat black but could easily be repainted to original gloss factory color. There are a few very small dimples in the tank that could be repaired if the next owner felt it necessary. I don’t notice them but I believe they could be repaired by a paint-less dent repair guy. Handlebar controls are all factory specs and were found NOS for this restoration. Recent spring tune-up a few weeks ago: Carburetors cleaned, rebuilt, tuned and installed. New Battery (5/21/15) Fresh oil change (5/21/15) Replaced, rebuilt, installed all starter components and wiring All new gaskets throughout (recent 5/21 gaskets: engine cover, alt cover, countershaft cover, peg, shift lever). Pulled head side covers, re-timed cams, set valve clearances, adjust valves New rectifier and charging system check. It charges at 13v! Front forks rebuilt with new seals and fresh oil. Installed new handlebar controls (NOS) so that the bike/controls are all factory spec. New clutch, throttle and brake cables. Seat rebuilt with all new hardware, piping, vinyl, foam, and even brand new hinge hardware ($180 just for rubber hinge/seat pieces) New tank cushion dampers New tail light rubber gasket. Basically new rubber and gaskets everywhere. Brand new Firestone ‘Deluxe Champion’ tires. Front 400-18”, Rear Tire 450-18” I spent over $3200 rechroming and powdercoating the frame and body components and chrome bits on the bike. Everything is documented and all receipts will be included in the sale of the bike. The wheels were disassembled and all original parts were used for a full wheel restoration. The rims and nipples were sent out of state to re-chrome. The hubs were cleaned, rebuilt and polished and the spokes were zinc/nickel plated. I could have purchased aftermarket rims for much less but as you can see, these original wheels are absolutely stunning. All wiring and electrical has been gone through and made correct. No hack wiring on this bike. Its all factory and functioning perfectly. All lights and indicators function as they should. This bike rides like a dream for a 49 year old bike. Push button starter works fires right up, every time. **** A note on the chrome side airbox covers and rear fender. I have been told that this bike was most likely a European spec model that was imported to the US. The rear fender has a round reflector built in (see pics) and to this day, I have never seen another one like it. Same with the side covers. The Black Bombers all came from the factory painted silver with a different flat/bevel for stick-on plate decals. These side covers came originally chromed. The side covers and rear fender are different than any I have seen in all of my research. New rubber everywhere. New grips, tires, brake/shifter pedal covers, etc....... Very expensive build and a great daily ride. I have several boxes of spare parts that I have accumulated for this bike. Everything will be included in the sale. Please ask me questions and I will gladly answer to the best of my knowledge. I am an honest seller and will provide any info that is requested. Please be fair with your offers and bidding as I don’t expect to make any money on this restoration. I don’t even expect to break even but that’s what happens when you do a restoration. We are expecting a new addition to the family in a few weeks and thus, I’m selling off most of my toys to finance said addition. I also have a very nice 71’ C10 truck available in another auction. “Everything must go!”

1976 Honda Cb 450, 1978 Honda CB400T in excellent condition - a lot of work and time have been put into it. I have had it for about 1 year and I have been using it for my daily commute. Recent additions: - The bike has new wheels and tires. - Professionally painted (done by the previous owner). - The original seat has been upholstered and looks brand new. Cafe racer look - the pictures speak for themselves. Comes with clear title (pink slip in hand) and registration until April 2015. $2900 obo - Serious buyers with cash in hand only. 1970 Honda Cb 450, I acquired this 1970 CB 450 Honda about 6 years ago and have put in a lot of time and money getting it to this point. Runs great and looks very nice. Paint has been touched up and tank over sprayed. I am about to replace the statrter motor as the current electric starter is not working, have a working one but waiting until its warmer in my garage before I install it or next owner can do it. I have a second bike that is my current ride and the 450 sits. It really needs to be on the road on weekends. It is a head turner whenever I take it out the Harley folks can't help but ask questions about it. Many new parts over the last 6 years, electronic ignition being one of them. I almost don't want to sell her but I am not riding it so someone should. My only wish is that who ever buys it will maintain it and not make it into a cafe racer its too nice for that. I can provide more pics if you are serious. My price is firm and I don't need any more motorcycles or sports cars as trades. Bike has clear title and passed inspection last summer. Please understand that this is a 45 year old motorcycle and as such there are a few small nicks and dents on her. Very little rust you have to look hard and close to find any on this bike. It does need the small light bulb for the speed do for night driving but I have not replaced it as I don't ride her at night and it passes inspection every year without the light working, very minor. Thanks for looking $3,800.00

1968 Honda Cb 450, Welcome to one of the nicest Honda CL450s to ever hit the market. Ever. This 1968 CL450 is the first year that this world-renowned bike was made as a production bike. You often see them still on flat tracks, and turned into cafe racers, but this bike here, this bike is all originala perfect and strong running machine, and I sourced the more seductive looking (and very expensive) tank from a 1968 CB450 to tie it together. Every time I've taken this bike on the road, I get stopped and asked questions about it. People stare at it whenever it is parked, and it sounds phenomenal riding down the road. This bike starts, runs, and shifts fantastic. All electrical components work (blinkers, horn, lights). The bike has recently even had some fresh gaskets, seals, new battery, carbs synced, new tires, new paint on the tank and battery covers, and more! You cant ask for anything more from a bike that is almost 50 years old, especially because it is so clean of grime and does not leak! The old speedo was in bad shape, so a fantastic condition one was sourced albeit with lower mileage on the odometer. This bike has about 7,000 original miles. The bike has some very minor wear, and small dings on the frame and chrome, just from light riding and storage over the years--nothing major at all. You can see everything in the images or request close-ups of anything from me, but you can tell the bike was well looked after. I have a clean title in hand, original owners manual, original tool kit, some receipts from work and parts (old work and recent work). Believe it or not, but I am into the bike for more than Im asking so my loss is someones gain. Ive got to plan for fatherhood and get rid of toys. I can help load the bike for a shipper or meet near a border of AZ with my truck. Cheers and thanks for looking. Feel free to contact me with any questions. $7,995.00 4805402066

This is a mostly original CB450. The tank has been re-painted and needs paint. It's original color was Red with Gold. It runs and drives just fine but really needs to be either refurbished/ restored or converted into a cafe racer. It's one of my project bikes but I just haven't had time to get to it. It originally wasn't titled or licensed because of it's age but I went through the whole process of getting it Titled, Licensed, Insured so it has a clear title. I'm only asking what I have in it. Great bike!
