Gorgeous CB400F. The photos speak for themselves. They were taken July 31 2015. I'm a private owner, not a dealer. I have a lovely collection of 28 motorcycles, but changing health means either leaving them mostly unused in the garage or house, or knowing someone else will enjoy the ones I choose to sell. The wheels are not stock, are much higher quality alloy and, along with the tires, are brand new. The carbs need to be cleaned, and a new battery is needed. The original tool kit comes with. I also have a NOS blue tank and matching side covers for a CB400F. I'll be selling those separately. I can deliver the 400F to Blaine, Washington, or a dealership in Bellingham, Washington. If you have any questions, you may call David at 360.945.7777. Buyers with negative feedback need not apply, and lowball offers won't be considered. Before long, I'll also be selling: 2012 Ducati Panigale Tricolore S2012 Kawasaki ZX141989 Honda Hawk GT650 with very low miles1984 Honda CB1100F1990 Bimota YB1981 Kawasaki GPz550 and 1989 Yamaha FZR400 with very low miles plus a 1990 FZR400 swingarm.

This beautiful Honda came to me as part of a multiple bike purchase. It has spent the last 20+ years in a dry garage not running. When I brought it home, I cleaned the carbs, put a battery in, changed the oil, and it fired right up and ran well. I did however install an NOS Honda muffler, and welded a patch to the bottom of the header where a hole had formed. The patch sealed the header and is not noticeable unless the bike is up on a lift. Along with the muffler, an NOS muffler gasket and clamp were installed. I also had to replace the fork seals and completely cleaned/serviced the forks while it was apart. When I bought the bike there was a good sized dent on top of the gas tank. I drained the tank and sent it off to a paintless dent removal shop for repair. I would say the dent repair was about 90% successful. There is now a slight ding on top of the tank. I tried to take a picture of it but it does not show up in photos, but it is there. There is also two very small dings on the left side of the tank, but they are hardly visible except at certain angles. The original paint shines nicely and the bike looks great. The right side cover is also a little beat up, but being original and having good paint, it seemed best to leave it be. The bikes rides like new. The suspension is tight and there are no rattles or any funny noises. It runs awesome as it should with 8200 original miles. The front rotor may be slightly warped, but the brake works fine. I did flush the entire front brake system and put new pads on it. The front rotor may have to be addressed at some point, but is not much of an issue at this point. This is a true honest survivor and with a little more clean up and tinkering will be a very nice bike. It is nice now, but as with anything, could be even better. The title is clear and in my name. It is currently registered but I am not riding it other than the odd short ride here and there. I would love to keep it but I own 6 motorcycles right now and just can't keep them all. If you're looking for a nice vintage Honda for your collection or just to ride, then this is it. There are not many left that are this unmolested. It is one of the nicest I have seen in a while. One thing I found kind of cool is the factory paint marks that are still on the rotor bolts, rear hub, and chain master link. It is truly an untouched original. Please see pictures for more details. Buyer is responsible for pick up or shipping. Deposit due immediately and full payment due by time of pick up. It is a 38 year old motorcycle and is sold as is.

RUNS GREAT!!! Just went on a 25 miles test drive. I bought this bike on e-bay in 2014 and when I got it , it did not run very well. I took it to my local Honda dealer (Spent 400.00) and it still didn't run very well. Retired from work a couple months ago and with nothing else to do I started working on the bike. Found a loose wire from the right coil, fixed that. Put some Iridium spark plugs in, changed the oil and cleaned the points. Real surprised the Honda dealership didn't figure this out. Put some 105 octane (Yes it had Staybil in it) and WOW!!! Big Smile on my face. Still have some detailing to do. I think that former owner was in a hurry. Gas tank was painted a nice orange but needed to be color sanded, I can do that(Got the time) Some polishing on the chrome and all should be OK. Oil light is on and I don't know why as I changed the oil and filter. Will run it by another Honda dealer to see what can be done to turn it off. Throttle feels stiff but maybe with 4 carbs to work its supposed to be that way or my right wrist is weak from age and old injury so... Anyway one project down many more to go so time to sell her. Any questions e-mail me or I can call you back. Thanks for looking. Just starting out on selling on e-bay and I'm retired so might be a little slow but I will get to whatever questions you have

This is a very complete 400F, I picked this up with the intention of doing a full on as new restoration (I have recently started shifting my attention from British to 70's Japanese) but it turns out I am at least a year away so here it goes down the road, when I picked it up it was actually being ridden daily, It runs great but the electric start is not working (the button is missing), the side stand is missing (looks like it broke off and someone tried to weld), the exhaust is very good with the muffler having a few small dings and the header being dent free, the chrome is delaminating at some of the head pipes (nice enough to re-chrome), the bike is actually very quiet with the stock exhaust, it has a pair of progressive shocks, and brand new Bridgestone tires, I have a NY title in hand, it has miles but it seems pretty tight, the triple clamps are good with no cracking, the motor is pretty quiet but I would at least check the cam chain adjustment, I went through the carbs last weekend and it runs pretty close to perfect, starts on 1-2 kicks, idles, all the signals and brake lights work but it does need a headlight, again it is original from the bars to exhaust (with the exception of the shocks), and worth spending time on, there are a few buffs on the headlight ring and one gauge trim ring but no corresponding damage on anything else (?), as always shipping is the responsibility of the buyer and I reserve the right to end the auction at any time as the motorcycle is for sale locally.

Unique opportunity to own a vintage race bike..... Or the coolest Cafe Racer in town. Yes I have this bike registered with a tag and ride it on the street and highways. The bike was built in the early 2000's by a Millwaukee vintage motorcycle shop called "The Shop" It was built to vintage race and did race one time at the Mid-Ohio Race track. The builder decided after the race he was a better builder than racer and the bike was never raced again. I purchased the bike and I am the 2nd owner. The bike has been bored one over and the head has been ported these are the only engine mods that were disclosed at the time of my purchase. The deep sump aluminum tank was fabricated by " The Tank Shop" out of Scotland, it has aluminum wheels, new tires, and a full race fairing. The bike has great patina and draws a crowd any where I go. I have left all of the safety wire on the bike and it is still set up to race. You could start vintage racing again. The bike is in excellent condition for a bike of its age. It starts easily, runs smoothly and handles every nicely. Ride it with confidence any where. I have a clear North Carolina title in my name. I also have a MotoGP Werks 4 into 1 pipe for the bike, I will sell it separately. These pipes are highly sought after by 400 F enthusiasts. Let me know if you are interested. Please ask any questions, I have described the bike as accurately as I can. It's a great motorcycle, I would like to keep it but have other obligations I must take care of. The bike is listed locally and I reserve the right to end the sale at any time.

This bike is great for either beginners or experienced riders, especially if you are into touring. It has amazing gas mileage (60+ MPG), is reliable and is a fun/smooth/easy ride. The gear indicator is great for urban commuting and to keep from having to remember what gear you are in. The center stand was absolutely great for my long rides and for maintenance work (in particular cleaning and lubing the chain and to rotate the tires to get a tire pressure reading). The frame sliders (IMHO) is a must have for any bike. My love of riding this bike is indicative by the miles I've put on it. My main reason for selling is that I'm moving. I'm asking $4,200. Clean TitleRegistered in New York Total Mileage = 27,400 milesFuel Mileage = averaging 66 MPG (last 10 fuel-ups via Fuelly.com) Seat Height = 30.7 inchesTires = Pirelli Angel GT (900 miles since they were installed on 6/19/2015) Extras * SW-Motech Center stand ($150) * Yoshimura Frame Sliders ($100) * HealTech Gear Indicator Pro DS ($160) * Adjustable, foldable and extendable levers ($40; from China) * K&N Air Filter * Front brake pads ($30) (install is very easy) Stock Items Included * Stock levers * Owner's Manual * Helmet holder Latest Work Done * Tires replaced with Pirelli Angel GT at 26K miles (6/19/2015) * Chain and Sprockets replaced at 25K miles (installed on May 2015) * Rear brake pads installed at 25K miles * New headlight bulb installed at last service work (23K miles) Incident History * Bike was tipped over twice early on in the ownership while parked on the street. * The only indication of this is a barely noticeable 1 inch dent on the right side of the gas tank and the right bar end getting scratched/scuffed. * There was an electrical failure at 5-6 month ownership. The fault was determined to be at assembly of the bike. It has been trouble free ever since (1.5 years of daily riding). Service Intervals * Service work done at 12,000 and 23,000 miles. * Basic checkup = every 6,000 miles * Comprehensive checkup = every 12,000 miles Summary * I'm the first owner. * I live in NYC but work in Greenwich, CT. The bike is being kept at my workplace. * Street parked in NYC when home (always covered) and covered garage parked when at work. * Bike is in excellent running condition (based on my daily rides and what my mechanic has told me when I take it for its service intervals). * It has some minor scratches here and there. * Major service checkup work at 12K and 23K miles performed by Shelby's Powersports in the Bronx. Almost all work done by them except for the 600 mile service (done by Motorcycle Mall) and the latest tire change (done by Solo Moto in Greenwich, CT). * I have all of the receipts to show the work done on the bike except for the last tire change. * Easy accessory or maintenance items have been done by me (oil change, cleaning/lubing the chain, replacing stock levers with adjustable levers). * My previous tires were the Michelin Pilot Road 4 and these lasted 15K miles. The stock set of tires (Dunlop Roadsmart II) lasted me 11K miles. * The K&N filter gave the bike a bit more character and oomph (aka torque). Test Rides * Sorry, but no test rides. I can ride the bike in a parking lot or some empty open space to demonstrate how well the bike runs.

1980 Honda CB750F Super Sport. Had sat for many years when I purchased bike last summer. Frame was rusting in some areas, so I had it media blasted and powder coated by Classic Powder Coating, in Cordelia, CA. Bike has only 4,400 miles. Compression is 170 psi on all 4. I have rebuilt all brakes, new front master cylinder, new braided brake lines front & rear, new tires, new seat cover, new MAC 4 into 1 exhaust, new battery, new charging rotor, new ignitors, new NGK iridium plugs, new plug wires, new Dyna ignition coils, new starting solenoid, new headlight with integrated LED turn-signals, and 2 into 4 Mikuni VM34 Racing Carb set up that has been dynotuned by BRG Racing in Pacheco, CA. Runs great! It is a 35 year old bike, so there are a few scratches on the tank, and the side covers I got off of EBay are a little faded and have some cracks that are repaired, otherwise it turns a lot of heads! It has a clear CA title and is registered until Mar 2016. I am the 2nd owner and have a photocopy of the original pink that shows frame and engine are matching. I am asking $3500 or best offer. You will not find a similar bike in this condition with this low mileage. It will include original carbs, air-box, exhaust, service manual, original owners manual, and all receipts from parts and work done to her. $500 deposit within 48 hours of sale. Rest of payment will be made in cash when bike is picked up in person. Local pick-up by buyer only! NO SHIPPING IS AVAILABLE!
