The sport boxer featured higher compression, larger throttle bodies, modified heads, updated conrods, pistons and available factory Ohlins shocks. While still sporting available heated handgrips and ABS, the R1200S was the consummate gentleman’s sport-bike with easy ergonomics and a non-linked updated ABS system that did away with the previous boxer’s servo brakes. Available in a multitude of colors, this regular production boxer still commands a loyal following of enthusiasts.

RARE BIKE!! 2007 BMW R1200S WITH COLLISION DAMAGE. Engine runs excellent! New OEM battery! Equipped: ABS, heated grips, trip computer, luggage etc. Damage: Front plastic stay/bracket, panels have scratches, front wheel is bent ( can be repaired) rear wheel is bent ( repairable ?) rear tire is cut, left valve cover has rash, front fender has 3 broken mounting tabs, right mirror is missing, left mirror is damaged, left hard bag inner portion is cracked, missing front seat, bit of rash on the final drive. Bike is being sold in condition "AS IS!" with a repairable salvage title. The insurance company marked the title as "Not the actual miles!" since the battery was down and the mileage could not be verified. I replaced the battery with a OEM battery and the mileage is clearly visible. I can arrange transport at a reasonable rate. I can also assist overseas buyers with export arrangements. Its typical rocket shaped body made from 8 steel plates trimmed in polished aluminum gives it a stylish flair. The boat with its roomy trunk space and adjustable spring suspension system makes it the perfect sidecar for long trips. The seamless tube frame is embellished in front and on top with polished aluminum piping. The wheel is outfitted with a swing axel and rubber shock absorbers. The S500 has a trunk lid that opens. For long-trips an original luggage rack can be mounted to the back of the sidecar.

2007 R1200S Spring is almost here! Be ready! These bikes are getting more rare every year.  This is one of the 432 “S’s” brought into the US. If you can’t afford the $15-20K for an HP2 Sport, this is pretty close in terms of performance (122HP) for half the price. I am the second owner and purchased the bike in 2010 with 8,500 miles on it.  Current mileage is 16,184. Excellent condition with very few scuffs.  Never down and never tracked, always garaged. This is the "Candy Cane" version, which is the rarest color of the 432 that were imported. Up for sale is my rare 2007 BMW R1200S motorcycle.  There were only 97 of these brought into the US for sale.  You can search long and hard and probably only find a couple for sale at any time.  These bikes are sure to increase in value as the years go on.Mine has about 28,000 miles on it.  It runs great with an aftermarket Zard exhaust.  Some of the other goodies include factory wide 190 series tire, ABS and heated grips.  Others include new windshield, grip puppies and raised license plate holder.  These bikes did not come with panniers like the R1100S did.  This one has BMW panniers and brackets to make it a little more useful to carry things.  There is probably more but thats all I got for now.Great bike, just time to move on to something else.  This one is in excellent condition.  Never down and only minor wear and tear.  There is some paint peeling on one of the throttle bodies.  Hard for paint to stick to this type of material.  Not a big issue, just take the rest of it off is my plan but just have not done it yet.  Not a big deal to me.Email with questions.
