From 2002 to 2013 we always did a couple of trips a year on it, and I occasionally took it out for other things but had a series of smaller bikes for committing and weekend fun. From 2013 on for health reasons my wife stopped riding for health reasons so the big bike only gets used a couple of hundred miles a year, if that. We now have a convertible both of us and the dog can ride in so, so it's going to get used even less. The bike was bought at BMW of Louisville, maintained by BMW of Marin (now gone) and BMW Motorcycles of San Francisco and, when not on the road, always garaged.
