If you’re looking at this listing then you’re probably already familiar with the specs of the iconic V-Max 1200 with its legendary raw power and torque. I pasted some specs I found on the internet below. Below the published specs are the particulars about my VMX1200 that is up for sale. OEM sissy bar backrests are extremely difficult and costly to get ones hands on. About three years ago dealer installed new fork seals and replaced both front brake lines. I installed the OEM shelf that goes with the sissy bar backrest, again very difficult to find. Also included is an easily removable windshield. I prefer to ride without it but on a cold day it is nice to have that wind block. It has brand new original model tires (went on last fall and immediately put away for winter, have about 700 miles on them now, like new). And just a month ago it got a new battery. Two blemishes that need declaring are a scuff on the front fender and the shelf was not black from the factory, I tried to spray paint it but the paint hasn’t stuck well and is pealing. Bike has 13,500 miles on it, it is still a daily rider so mileage may be slightly different at close of auction. I love this bike and will miss its power but I recently went on a motorcycle camping trip. Most the other guys had BMW dual purpose aka adventure style bikes. After riding with them I have realized that is the type riding I enjoy the most. Because I simply don’t have the room or the money for three bikes, I’m selling my V-Max and a 1989 Yamaha XT600 to hopefully get enough money to by one adventure style bike. There are no running or operational issues of this bike to declare. It is listed elsewhere and locally so sale may end at any time without notice. I will help the winning buyer by delivering to or meeting part way within the US boarder and 150 miles of Watertown, NY zip 13601 I believe with it's low miles, extras, and condition it is well worth the asking price.
