1983 Yamaha Venture - XVZ12 *Manager's Special*, YOU ARE LOOKING AT A 1983 YAMAHA VENTURE (XVZ12) WITH 26,556 MILES ON IT. IT IS TWO TONE BLUE IN COLOR AND POWERED BY A 1200CC CARBURETED ENGINE AND 5 SPEED TRANSMISSION. THE BIKE COMES WITH 1 KEY. THE BIKE HAS A MISSING RIGHT SIDE COVER, CRACK AND SCRATCHES ON THE FRONT FAIRING, AND SCRATCHES ON THE FRONT FENDER, TANK, REAR FENDER, SADDLEBAGS, AND TOUR TRUNK. THE CHROME AND ALUMINUM HAVE PITTING ON THE ENGINE, REAR WHEEL, AND FORK LOWERS. THE TIRES HAVE GOOD TREAD LEFT ON THEM AND THE SEAT HAS A TEAR IN IT.

1983 Yamaha XVG1200 Venture, 1200cc V-4 Yamaha power! - The Yamaha Venture is a touring motorcycle produced from 1983 to 1993 and from 1999 to 2009. The 1983 Yamaha Venture, also known as the 1983 Venture Royale, was the first first liquid-cooled, four stroke, V-4 Yamaha motorcycle. The bike was comfortable -- it came with an adjustable air suspension and its seat was orthopedically designed to deliver maximum comfort. In addition, the motorcycle was equipped with a stereo radio. Engine and Transmission The 1983 Yamaha Venture comes with a powerful 1198cc, or 73.1-cubic-inch, 90 horsepower engine. The engine has a 76.0mm bore and a 66mm stroke. Its compression ratio is 10.5:1. The engine is equipped with a Mikuni 34mm constant-vacuum carburetor. The bike has a battery-powered, inductive, magnetically triggered ignition. The 1983 Yamaha Venture has a five-speed transmission. Chassis The motorcycle has a double-downtube, full-cradle frame.
