1981 Honda CB 650 in excellent condition. New brakes, tires, chain and sprockets and fork seals. The bike has a lot of custom work. The bike has been lowered 3" in the rear. Custom leather seat. Sissy bar and straight pipes with turn outs. Custom air intake. 6" dog bone risers with drag bars and chrome grips. Just over 15k original miles. For sale is a 1981 Honda Cb650. The bike runs fine if it is choked. If it drops below 3,000 rpm it dies, but runs strong above that. It shifts through all gears. I cleaned the carbs and installed new needles and rubber o-rings. They may need professionaly cleaned for the bike to run properly. All electrical is working properly and has a new battery in it from this summer. Tires are old, but have no dry rot and hold air. Inside the tank is very clean. The outside of the tank has some dents and scratches. It has a clear Indiana title. 11,088 miles. Asking $900 Cash, no checks. This bike was my dad's. He was buying parts to restore this Honda CB650 frame, shocks, and engine. Engine Serial Number RC03E - 2225587. I called a local Honda dealer to find out this is a CB650 engine...the frame likely matches. VIN on the frame RC0502BM205801 (CB650 from 1981 or 1982). You rebuild or want to put together a classic bike. You don't mind coming to the south Austin area to pick these parts up (no shipping as this frame and engine are heavy).

1981 Honda CB650 Bought at dealer, put new carburetors and new tires on it. Professional Engine rebuild, and was running great this Spring, but won’t start currently. Possibly a blown head-gasket. Only motorcycle rider in our family left for college and the boss wants it out of the garage.

This is a 1981 Honda cb650 custom. It has new tires front and back a new chain and front sprocket, new K&N air filters, new spark plugs, and new clutch kit all just installed 450 miles ago. The bike is in great running and driving condition. It has the 650cc inline four cylinder motor with four into one exhaust. It has a new Saddleman double seat that gives comfort for driver and passenger on those longer trips. Most people strip these bikes into cafe racers Bc most of these are in rough shape when they find them but this one is in good enough shape to just keep as a cruising bike for around town or whatever. But it would also be an awesome starter bike for a cafe racer for someone who didn't want to have to completely rebuild a bike too. The left side of the tank does have a dent in it though but no paint peeling off or flaking off. I also have some extra parts to go with the bike.
