1975 Honda Cb750, This timeless classic CB750 looks as good and runs as good today, as it did 40 years ago when it rolled out of the Honda factory. The paint on the tank and side covers is flawless, the rust free frame still has its factory baked on finish and shines the way it did when it left Japan. The electrical system is fully functioning, never tampered with or "fixed" and is 100% original including the original spare fuses. The perfect NOS seat, perfect original gauges, spotless chrome, hand polished aluminum engine covers and rust free factory 4 into 4 exhaust system sets this bike off as a true showpiece. It even includes the Honda factory owners manual, 20 years of receipts and the original complete tool kit. This bike is not a "barn find" or a bike that's been rotting away in someones shed for the past 30 years, it's also not a "restored" rust bucket that's been sprayed with Krylon and put together with aftermarket Chinese parts.This low mileage ( 114xx documented original miles) bike has spent more time being cleaned and cared for by its previous 2 owners than it has spent on the road. In the past 4 months the bike has had the carburetors chemically cleaned, soda blasted,rebuilt and vacum synced. I've also taken care of the 10,000 mile service including oil and filters, valve adjustment, timing chain adjustment, points and timing reset ,brakes adjusted and all cables lubricated and adjusted. It will get another oil change before it's sold so the new owner won't have to worry about any service for the first 1000 miles. 1975 HONDA CB750 -  Frame: CB750 2533715 Motor: CB750E 2416068 Stock, unmodded engine and chassis, minor cosmetic restoration to near original condition. 16K original miles. New paint just done in black metallic pearl .. shows very well. Period correct in most details, mechanically sound, runs great, tuned perfect. Strong engine, idles smooth, rides tight and sounds terrific.  In great condition for riding or collecting. Coming out of a private collection that is being refocused on Euro bikes. Very minor weathering, aluminum surface discoloration, some chrome has minor pitting etc. - but overall looks very sharp. Instrument faces show typical fading of orange details, but better than most of this age. Some components have been restored with authentic period parts, very close to stock. Original seat cover is getting old, has one split approximately 4" long along embossed seam, replacement covers are readily available. No mechanical issues at all, no problems, nothing to fret about .. well sorted and ready to ride. These are known to be super reliable and trouble free, and this example starts, runs, shifts, brakes and handles as expected of a low mileage Honda. If you are looking for a clean CB750 first series at a fair price - you found it. There are lot of these out there, but very, very few in this kind of clean, unmodded, unrodded, near original condition. Cheaper examples are available, but it would be hard to match level of restoration, originality and mechanical condition of this bike for less than $10K. Clean CA Title and registration  ... no DMV issues Runs and looks great, once of the best surviving examples we have seen. The CB 750 is a legend in motorcycling, the bike that made HONDA a serious competitor and started the big bike boom from Japan. Outstanding performance and quality made the CB750 a sales leader and a performance champion in its day. All brand new parts completely cleaned up. We, aka my mechanic specializing in rebuilding/servicing classic motor-works, literally took it all apart replaced most of the parts. We even cut down the fenders into a more bobby, "cafe" aesthetic.Brand new charging system working in tip-top condition. Thats a new battery, new rotor, new alternator, new stator, spark plugs redone, and also all wires/fuses completely redone.Aftermarket Headlight/tailight/turn signals/hazards all "cafe racer" style. All new bulbs recently placed.Currently has an aftermarket speedometer in the photos, but can provide the original OEM speedometer/odometer combo.Understand that 1975 bikes of this model are extremely rare, and at under 2,000 miles its basically nowhere to be found. On top of that, half a year’s worth of consistent love and labor have gone into making it as good as any bike on the road today. Asking price is $6,500 but i'm very open to negotiation. I'm not riding at all nowadays, so I'd like to give it to someone who will. It's an awesome bike at any level. Although the weight's a bit heavy if this is your very first time ever riding a motorcycle, this is THE bike that will turn you into a rider.History of the Honda CB750  Between 1968 and 1969 the R&D team at Honda set about creating a transverse, overhead camshaft, inline 4-cylinder engine to power this new bike. This engine was mated to an all new 5-speed transmission, the engine was fitted with 4 carburettors (one for each cylinder) and was capable of 68hp, 44ft-lbs of torque, a top speed of over 120mph and a 1/4 mile time of 13 seconds.   These specifications were revolutionary. When the bike was first put on sale in 1969 the word "superbike" was coined to describe it, it cost just $1,495 USD (~$9,500 in 2013) which gave it a huge price advantage over its rivals and it came as standard with hydraulic disc brakes, a reliable engine, excellent handling and enough power to beat almost anything on 2 wheels (or 4). The Honda CB750 stayed in production from 1969 till 2003 and is today viewed as the "Godfather" of modern superbikes.

Restored 1975 CB750K into cafe racer. 29,000 miles.New Exhaust 4 into 2, new stainless steel braided brake lines and master cylinder, new rear tire, all carbs cleaned and redone with new kits, new battery, new master cylinder, new iridium spark plugs. All original parts available and provided with the bike. The bike was taken apart down to the frame, fully sanded and repainted. Runs great and has a ton of character. With 3 bikes in the garage and new projects in sight, the choice was tough but this one has to go...
