I BOUGHT THIS bike FALL OF 2011 AND TOOK IT OUT OF A 31 YEAR STORAGE. IT WAS ORIGINALLY THE CANDY PANTHER GOLD WITH 8800 MILES. IT LOOKED GOOD BUT EVERYTHING WAS FROZE TIGHT....FROM CABLES TO BRAKES TO ENGINE TO CARBS. I COMPLETELY DISMANTLED BIKE AND EVERYTHING BLACK WAS SANDBLASTED AND RESPRAYED. EVERY NUT AND BOLT IS ORIGINAL, POLISHED AND PUT BACK IN ITS SPOT. THE ENGINE BROKE FREE VERY EASILY DURING DISMANTLE AND EVERY PART WAS PRESSURE CLEANED, PAINTED, RERINGED AND PUT BACK TOGETHER WITH NEW POINTS, PLUGS. THE CARBS WERE EXTREMELY BAD AND EACH ONE WAS BOILED IN LEMON JUICE FOR 5 HOURS AND HAVE ALL NEW SEALS, JETS, FLOATS AND NEW CHROME TOPPERS. THE GAUGES WERE FADED SO THEY WERE COMPLETELY TAKEN APART AND RESTORED TO NEW CONDITION..DURING THAT SPEEDO WAS SET BACK TO ZERO. SEAT WAS DISMANTLED AND SEAT PAN WAS SANDBLASTED AND RECOVERED. SWITHES WERE EVEN FROZE AND FADED SO THEY WERE REPLACED WITH NEW ONES. I HAD ONE OF THESE 30 YEARS AGO WHEN I WAS A KID AND MINE HAD BEEN REPSRAYED MAROON..SO I WANTED TO GO BACK TO MY CHILDHOOD AND INSTEAD OF PAINTING ORIGINAL COLOR. I SPRAYED IT harley BLACK CHERRY. AND IT LOOKS BEAUTIFUL IN THE SUN.. THE BIKE WAS FIRED UP FOR THE FIRST TIME IN 30 YEARS AND IT FIRED RIGHT UP AND RUNS FLAWLESS...ITS A GREAT RIDE. I HAVE PUT 494 MILES ON SINCE REBUILD. BUT SAD TO SAY IM GONNA LET HER GO TO SUMONE WHO WILL ENJOY IT AS MUCH AS I WOULD BUT I WANT TO BUILD ANOTHER ONE CUZ THERE AS MUCH FUN TO TEAR DOWN TO RESTORE AS THEY ARE TO RIDE.....SO HERES YOUR CHANCE FOR AN ALMOST NEW CL350...

1972 Honda Scrambler , I am selling my beloved 1972 Honda CL 350 Scrambler with 10,500 original miles. I am the third owner of record and the bike is all original. It's in great shape and runs beautifully. Video of the bike running is available upon request. Would make a great restoration project as minimal is needed to bring this beauty back to glory or use as a perfect cafe racer project. Or simply ride as is and enjoy it!
