Good Day. This auction is for a 1971 Honda CT 70H rare 4-speed clutch model. I started the restoration process but have simply run out of time and space to complete it. I sell this bike with a heavy heart for it is the one I used to have as a child. It runs and shifts in all 4 gears beautifully. The motor and frame are all original. Mileage approx. 2,260. The paint is also the original Topaz Orange which has a few minor scratches for a 44yr. old antique bike, but no where near enough to even consider repainting. (see photos) Handle bars are straight and in great shape. All parts with the exception of the seat are original Honda OEM as you'll be able to tell by the photos. Newly replaced parts include the: Seat, total exhaust, grips, hand levers, front and rear wheel rims, tires & tubes, rear shocks, battery, kick shift lever & gas tank. The only major thing left to do was send out the engine to be re-polished and painted. I never did because I was so happy with the way it ran I was afraid it wouldn't be the same when I got it back!Everything; lights horn, brakes are in working order. Starts on first kick and idles like a champ. It's really a clean looking original parts bike that has received many compliments by friends and neighbors. The bike is available for local pick up only. Paypal deposit due with 48hrs. or close of auction. Balance in Cashiers Check at pick up. Serious bidders only please.

I have a 1971 Honda CT70H for sale. It has been completely restored to better than new condition. All the parts used to restore the bike are OEM Honda parts, and a few parts from CHP. This is a rare vintage bike,4 speed with manual clutch, and they only made them a couple of years, and is very collectable. The bike runs and shifts like new, and the clutch is new. The engine has been totally gone thru and rebuilt. all new seals, gaskets, cylinder honed, new piston and rings, new valve seals and valve job. The stator is new, 2 new coils, points and condensor. Has new chain and sprockets, new tires and tubes, and new brakes. All the cables have been replaced, new wiring harness, new ignition switch with 2 keys, new headlight and tail light, new horn, horn button, high/low beam switch, and new bulbs in the speedometer, and a new battery. The bike was stripped down to bare metal and primed. Then painted with Honda Candy Emerald Green paint, 3 coats of base, 3 coats of Emerald Green, and 3 coats of clear coat. New decals and emblems were applied. It has a new seat, all the chrome is new, fenders, handlebars, tail light bracket, skidplate and exhaust guard. New gribs and levers. The only thing that isn't OEM is the exhaust, as I couldn't find one at the time. But would be simple to replace with original exhaust if you wanted to change it. The bike only has about 10 miles on it since it was completed. Its a great bike to ride, or to put in your collection or Man cave. You wont find a nicer Trail 70 anywhere, it wasnt this nice looking when it was new. The pictures speak for themselves, take a good look at the detail. I have a clear title for the bike, and it comes with a tool kit and owners manual also. If you have any questions, feel free to ask.

You are viewing a fully restored Honda CT70H, this is the manual 4-speed model. Nothing was over looked during the refurb of this fine example of everyone's favorite little mini-bike. Yes this is a matching number and titled Honda Trail 70. Marble Motors did themselves proud on the Candy Emerald Green paint for frame #CT70H-124528. Darrel Gunderson also worked his magic on the engine #CT70HE-124705. This guy is extremely good, quick and amazing! This thing looks as good as the day some lucky kid brought it home for the first time. You remember that? How crazy we all were about that Honda CT70? The “I’m not a mini-bike nor am I a big bike” little motorcycle? Only had 3-speeds for about a year then Honda unleased the beast! Yeah you know what I’m talking about! They did it! Hand clutch and four speeds! And the colors now…orange…blue. But the green…I know, right? Green was king! I sourced a NOS speedometer for this build. Also the complete Honda exhaust is new. Wire harness, chain, sprockets, cables, battery, rebuilt forks, tires & tubes - new. Correct headlight with both the vertical and horizontal adjustment. Much, much more. Questions/comments/concerns, please contact me through eBay. Shipping sole responsibility of buyer. I'll assist as far as pushing the bike down the driveway to the receiver. I've done it many/every time like this - no issues. No crating, breaking it down, transporting, etc. No Paypal for deposit or more specifically - full payment. Cashier's check, wire transfer or cash-in-person only.

Beautiful Emerald Green 1971 Honda CT70H 4 SpeedBuild Date 12/1970Vin# CT70H143738 Engine # CT70HE143838Mileage 1390 Now about the bike. I will do my best to describe it but being human can be subject to error. Please look at all the pictures I have provided and ask any questions you might have before placing a bid. The bike starts right up drives straight and shifts good. The horn, high and low beam, brake light, and speedo all work as intended. The paint is still extremely nice but does have its flaws such as scratches and chips. The headlight bucket is intact free of any of the usual cracks. The fuel lines appear to have been replaced and the footpegs have been painted. The chrome is in great shape for its age and is still very clean. It does have some of the normal patina you get over time. I did polish the triple clamp, points cover and cam chain cover with Mothers polish to clean them up. The seat pan is in great condition. The seat is still nice but does have some small rips you can see in the pictures. I believe the small rips didn't warrant replacing the seat cover and taking away from the originality of the bike. The bike comes with a California title and Street Legal License Plate. It is currently in Non-Op status with the DMV system since 2009 so all you have to do is pay the current registration of approximately $81 if you want to put it back on the road. You will also receive 1 key. Overall I think this bike will make any collector proud. I always say " A bike can be restored over and over again making it nicer then the new ones. But an original can only be that way 1 time." Happy Bidding Payment$500 non-refundable deposit within 24 hours of the end of the auction. Final payment must be received within 7 days of end of auction.Payment ChoicesCash in Person , Cashiers Check from Major US Bank , Wire Transfer from Major US BankFinal payment can be made via PayPal if you cover the fees above the initial $500 deposit. Purchased new in the summer of 1971 from Easton Honda in Easton Pennsylvania. This 1971 Hona Ct70h was owned and enjoyed by a family to get around the streets of Easton and never left town covering just over 1500 miles. It was always cared for, stored in doors, and regularly maintained at Easton Honda. I spent an afternoon just this past weekend with the owner of Easton Honda from 1965-2003. He remembered the bike and family specifically. He went into detail about how much they cared for it and how 'the mom' would sometimes ride it in for its routine maintenance. He also remembered the day the family picked the bike up, he told them how important it was not to lift the rear end of the bike by the seat, and that if they did it would crack the seat pan. All of this information may not be of interest to everyone, but I personally love all of the details and background that make up the history of each bike. For sale is the pictured 'candy blue green' 1971 Honda CT70H. For those of you that don't know the 'H' designates the (4) speed clutch model which is a lot more fun, a lot faster, and more desirable. Of the 3 colors offered that year I like this one the best. Frame # CT70H-112713. Engine# CT70HE-112552 Manufactured 6/1970. It is 100% original down to the grips, tubes, tires, and original battery. It has never been touched up, detailed, painted, or restored. The pictures really speak for themselves, it is in unbelievable condition for a 43 year old motorcycle. It starts 1st kick, will run/idle all day, and rides as good as it looks. All switches, controls, speedometer, and lights work as they should. As instructed the bike was never lifted by the seat so the original seat and seat pan are free of any cracks, bends, or damage, and still safely holds the original tool kit. It is a very special little bike with a great 1 family history. Please view all pictures and read entire description. Included in the sale is the bike as pictured, a new yuasa battery, a clear NJ title in my name, and a notarized bill of sale. I do not get involved with shipping or crating, please have your finance and shipping logistics sorted out prior to bidding. Any potential buyer with less than 10 positive feedback, please contact me before bidding. Failure to do so will result in bid cancellation and and blockage from future auctions. Restored / refurbished things are nice, but they will never have the character or value of an original.

1971 CT70H 4 Speed I had the engine partially torn down and examined on 5/15/14 and all is well. Everything is in great shape , that is to be expected for a 2000 mile engine. Shifts well, runs smooth and does not smoke. The body I would rate a 6/10 (cosmetically). I am putting this up for sale for 7 days and if it does not sell,I intend to tear it down and restore it to its original beauty or better. I will re-list at a higher price. So if you want the 4 Speed that sometimes is hard to find........... grab it now As of right now,the previous owner did not supply me with a Title, so for this sale, there is none. If I have to restore I will get a CA. Title.
