1968 Triumph T120R Matching Numbers Original paint Original tool bag still in side cover! 95% Original (Bars, Pipes and air filters renewed) Engine rebuilt and blueprinted 20 years ago. Southern California bike. San Diego. Clean Arizona Title !! Questions?? Call Steve at British Speed Shop - 480-234-6447 Honestly, you would not have to do anything to this beautifully cared for Triumph T120R but change the oil and enjoy. It starts so easy on the first kick, women, elderly or bad knees will have no problems at all kicking it. 1968 was the pinnacle of British motorcycling. And this is a fine example of that workmanship. You can't afford pass up the chance to invest in this original work of art. As Jay Leno says, "you didn't pay to much, you just bought it to late." Don't let another year of appreciation pass you by. These are getting harder to find, especially in this condition.

This is a matching numbers '68 T120R Bonny with clear MI title in my name. Factory records confirm it was built 14-March 1968 and supplied to TriCor as East Coast model. It has undergone complete rebuild from the nasty hill climber to the show condition you now see it in.I tried to use as many original Triumph parts as possible during the restoration - Lucas parts say 'Lucas', Dunlop parts say 'Dunlop' etc. Most everything is rechromed except original tank badges, which are very nice but not perfect.Wheel rims are original but rechrome quality is not perfect in my opinion - little 'yellow' around the spoke nipples, but I am the only one to have noticed this so far.Tires are new (made in Japan), cables and gages are new from England (I picked them up myself). Seat pan and foam is original with new cover. Fasteners are CAD plated.I challenge the perfectionists out there to critique the quality of work and give me feedback !Honestly, local restorers that have seen it have all said it is a beautiful machine. Got it running late last year but then decided to have a bit of fun with it and modified it cosmetically into a '68 TT Special (that I know the factory never made). Some of the photos show it with added TT pipes, sidecover (with the 'TT Bonneville' graphic that never went into production), alloy twin pull throttle and folding footpegs. Now had my fun with it and want to move onto next project, so have converted it back to stock condition with new British pipes and silencers (round silencers not the tapered TOGA ones). Not ridden it on the road so for potential buyers wanting to seriously ride it you may need to make tuning adjustments. It is basically a 1-kick starter, mostly oil tight, motor runs 'cold-blooded' (I think it needs breaking in). Front brake drags slightly, but again needs everything to settle in.For me great garage art ... enjoy ... comments and questions welcome ... before restoration photo included at end ... Sale is based on buyer inspection at pickup and payment in cash only. I want you to see and be happy with bike as any sale will be final.

In full running condition. Power is from a numbers-matching 650cc parallel twin mated to a four-speed transmission, and factory equipment includes a two-up seat, a right-side shifter, rubber knee bolsters, a twin leading-shoe front drum brake, and a center stand. An electronic ignition module was added by the seller, while tune-ups. The fuel tank features a silver center stripe, gold pinstriping and Bonneville scripts, white and chrome side badges, and rubber knee bolsters. Additional equipment includes a stepped two-up seat, chrome fenders, black side covers, both center and side stands, and amber reflectors on the frame downtube. Instrumentation includes a 150-mph speedometer, a 10k-rpm tachometer, and an ammeter mounted in the headlight bucket. The replacement five-digit odometer shows under 500 miles, the majority of which have been ridden by the seller. Total mileage is unknown. The air-cooled 650cc parallel twin produced just under 50 horsepower when new and is mated to a four-speed transmission that is shifted on the right and connected to the rear wheel via a drive chain.

Ready to ride 1968 Triumph Bonneville in great condition. Numbers matching frame and engine. New AMAL carbs and electronic ignition ensure smooth running and reliable start. The transmission shifts well and a new clutch has been installed. The tanks and side panel were repainted with Hutchinson lacquer and the frame was repainted with Imron paint. Unlike many Triumphs out there, this is not over-restored. The original seat, tanks, panel, wheels, spokes, fenders, exhaust pipe and mufflers remain. I’d love to keep this bike but haven’t had the time to ride as much as I hoped.

1968 Triumph Bonneville T120R, I am selling a 1968 Triumph T120, original 1970's chopper. It was originally a Triumph Bonneville 650cc, and has now been bored to 750cc. It is a short throw 750. I rebuilt the bike from the ground up, including a custom hand made leather saddle, new Mikuni carbs, new exhaust, rebuilt engine, and much more. Lots of spare parts included. Some small cosmetic blemishes, but a super cool bike. It gets lots of attention wherever it goes. Can arrange shipping in the continental U.S. $7,500.00

BEAUTIFULLY RESTORED 1968 TRIUMPH DUNSTALL T120 ROAD RACER. All alloy tanks, rims and fenders. Freshly rebuild Motor to Completion specs, Twin carburetors, New Transmission, Newly power coated frame, Alloy tanks, Alloy fenders, Alloy road racing rims, new gauges, cables, wiring, Clip-on racing handle bars, Alloy inner hub & vented brakes. I bought this off the Michigan Norton Club President Dave Smith about 12 years ago. He was in a fatal accident and his collection was sold off. I purchased this Triumph Dunstall her personally restored, a 1969 AJS Stormer and a 1967 Norton P11 he restored. I have since sold all but the Triumph. Now it is time for it to find a good home. Complete rebuilt of motor & trans, brakes, electrical, suspension. Motor is a racing combination of the TR6R Motor Case with a T120 Heads and twin racing carbs. It is a beautifully executed combination of a low mileage 1968 Triumph Bonneville and a Dunstall package specifically designed for Triumph and the race track. The Racing components include the powder coated frame, stunning Dunstall alloy tanks, Dunstall exhaust and factory racing alloy rims. She is extremely well built with a handsome fork system and exhaust system. Again, this motorcycle has been fully, mechanically & cosmetically restored to museum quality. The bike has not been raced or run (except for a start up check out procedure limited road testing) or ridden since the complete restoration. The speedometer shows 234 break-in miles. The beautiful alloy rims really look great on this bike. In summary, full mechanical restoration, beautifully finished Dunstall racing package and a very rare motorcycle indeed. There was a great deal of money invested in this motorcycle. The work was completed by Dave Smith a past Norton Club President of Michigan,....certainly one of the best! This bike is SUPER RAW! Stripped down, elegant and simple. The 650cc twin has just 1 Amal Concentric Carb and is a mechanical dream to maintain as it is simple and bare bones as they come. 1968 was an AWESOME year for this engine. Major upgrades were made throughout. I encourage you to check out this website to read more about the the TR6R (formally known as the Triumph Trophy and later dubbed the Tiger) :// /1968-triumph-tr6.htmlThis bike is titled by the frame which is actually a year newer then the engine but is the same model. It has been PERFECTLY hard tailed and the 1967 TR6R 650cc engine sits gorgeously within the modified frame. This bike truly looks as though it rolled right out of the factory made to look like this. There are no inconsistencies and seamless flowing lines, making it appear to look like a "natural" bobber. Raw gun metal frame and tank can be left or painted (we are a fan of leaving it). While this bike is undeniably beautiful and runs flawlessly, it is still not recommended for the faint of heart or someone brand hammer new to the world of motorcycles. It is kickstart only and the foot controls are reversed (as is with all pre-1975 British Motorcycles and Harley's), Regular maintenance cannot be put off or ignored on bikes of this age.The Frame Number T120 DU75836 (1968)The Engine Number: TR6R DU64351 (1967)Stop by GarageTRS Tues-Sat 11am-7pm to check this bike out along with many other others.
