Engine was removed in the early 90's to repair a faulty kick starter problem. The repair was made by replacing the trans low gear which has the ratcheting mechanism inside of it. The engine itself was not touched as it ran great before the repair. The bike has 23,000 miles on it and is in excellent condition. All the parts are there and some extras. The rear left turn signal is broken as the photo shows. The bike itself has been sitting in storage all this time and the remaining engine related parts are at my house. Excellent bike to restore as show piece, must see.

You are bidding on a 1967 Honda 305 Scrambler with right at 15,000 miles. This is a beautiful bike, runs great, and has recently been completely tuned. The bike has been entirely re-chromed with the exception of the rims, and has been garage kept since. It was also professionally painted at a local body shop. When I bought the bike in 2007, I restored it, and replaced many parts with authentic vintage honda parts. The new parts include: clutch and springs, coils and condensor, tires and tubes, headlight seal beams, cables, rebuilt carbs, gas tank emblems, shocks, battery and more... I spent years on this restoration, making it just like the one I had as a child. Now I am forced to part with this very special bike, it is the last of my collection. If you have any questions about this bike, please email Richard at email@example.com

I am selling my 1967 Honda Dream 305 model CA77. It is in nearly original condition except for a replacement, period-correct seat and foot pegs. The bike starts and runs great, shifts great and can be a daily rider immediately. The bike has original paint that is faded and the clearcoat is faded, there are areas of ONLY minimal surface rusts in small spots and frankly I never worried about it because I like the original look. The body however is in good, straight shape and the paint could be fully restored if wanted. The engine has been rebuilt with new old stock .25 oversized pistons, piston rings, clips and everything and the cylinders have been bored out correctly and laser measured. S&G cycles in Columbia, TN is who did the engine work and would be glad to discuss anything about the bike. It runs perfect and starts every time. I have also had the carbs rebuilt recently (within 100 miles ago) and there is no concern there either. So the things that need attention would be turn signals (if you want them, not required in TN here) and the brake light sticks on sometimes. I do have the side mirrors but I don't have them on. Let me know if you have any questions. ***I will not supply any quotes for shipping but will coordinate with you to have a shipper pick it up. I leave this responsibility to the buyer to handle. I reserve the right to end the auction if the bike sells locally.
Up for sale is my 1967 Honda CL77 Scrambler 300 with the legendary 305 twin cylinder engine. This bike was and is beyond cool. It bleeds nostalgia. It was the dual sport version of the CB and featured a stronger frame with higher ground clearance and upswept dual exhaust. It was clad with knobby tires and long travel suspension. This bike conjures up images of James Dean and Elvis Presley; and the naked girl riding in circles around Kowalski in the movie Vanishing Point. This is a survivor bike in very good operating and cosmetic condition. It has less than 8400 original miles. It is complete and and it starts right up, shifts smooth and stops as it should. It has had a recent tune up including carb service, new air filters and intake boots, spark plugs and oil service. The front shocks were overhauled and resealed. The tank was cleaned and resealed. It has brand new tires (not shown in these photos). There is a little surface rust on the rear chrome fender and on the lower handlebar but nothing to apologize for on this great riding bike. Vintage bikes are commanding lots of attention and the 305 Scramblers are as hot as they come.I am the third owner. The original owner's California title was lost and was subsequently sold on bills of sale. Title searches in California and Texas came up clean. The pictures tell the rest of the story. This bike is located in the Dallas, Texas area (75088) and as it is offered for sale locally I reserve the right to end the auction early per ebay policy. Sold on Bill of Sale. Buyer responsible for local pick up or shipping. Will store for a reasonable period of time but full payment required as specified. Send questions through ebay relay. Inspections welcomed. Enjoy the pictures...

Original 1967 305 Dream. Somewhat rare Red color with a few extras you rarely see. Has the front fender guard as well as an engine guard. Bike is equipped with the original seat but the owner includes an aftermarket solo seat in the purchase. Runs great, was ridden to the dealership to list for sale. Items we know that have been replaced over the years include the mufflers which were rusted out, replaced with aftermarket copies a few years back, and the speeometer, replaced with what we believe is an original oem (about 10 years ago)
