It had new Trials GP-1 tires and new tubes installed about 300 miles ago. The tank is clean and the seat has no rips or tears. The exhaust system is in very nice condition with no rust holes and minor scratches and dents. All of the electrical components work perfect, blinkers, horn, high/low beam, starter, tail light, and both front and rear brake light switches also new battery installed May 2015. There is no hesitation and the motor runs very strong. 1968 Honda CL175 Street Scrambler with rebuilt engine, fresh paint on the gas tank and side covers, and new tires. Odometer shows only 7858 miles. Engine was recently professionally rebuilt, just needs fuel lines ran and new battery to run. Fresh paint on the gas tank and side covers, gas tank paint is excellent, side covers may not have been properly prepped before painting as the paint is not smooth on those. New IRC Trials tires. The rest of the bike is original, chrome is showing scratches, pitting, and some rust spots, frame has general paint wear consistent with the age of the bike, rubber fork gaters are in poor condition, seat has tiny white paint spots on it and wear around the edges. Rear hub has some chunks out of it where the sprocket attaches and should be replaced. Original mufflers have been cut off. Missing the air box/air filter and chain guard but appears to be complete otherwise. Sold with bill of sale only. Own a classic! This 44 year old Barn Find, 1971 Honda CL175 K5 Scrambler, was found in a barn in Minnesota 12 years ago with 724 original miles on it. It was, and still is, in pristine original condition. The farmer who purchased this bike in 1971 took a spill after putting 724 miles on it and put it up in his barn, never to ride it again. You can see from the front left fork photo that there is minor damage to the left fork ear and a tiny bit of rust on the headlight. There are also a few paint chips and one very minor ding in the gas tank. Since I purchased it 12 years ago, I have put 828 miles on it. I believe that the motor is finally just now beginning to break in. It runs like a new bike, because it essentially is a new bike. It has been kept in my garage and cared for with white gloves. 1967 Honda CL175 Scrambler Frame: CL175-6005604 CLEAR TITLE. Manufacture Date: 12/70. Barn find. Has not been run in many years. Engine turns over freely with the electric starter.....but I have not tried to start it up. The lights come on and electrics all appear to work at this time... Missing right plastic side cover. Missing the points cover. Slides are stuck in carbs so they need to be freed up. Tank has no fuel in it nor do the carbs. The tank has some rust and will need to be cleaned but it is not too bad. see picture please. Clutch pulls in solid and feels good and the bike shifts through sll the gears. The brakes work too. This classic is a barn-finders dream come true. My Aunt and Uncle bought two new CL-175 Honda's in 1972. She realized after riding this bike that summer that motorcycling wasn't her thing and asked my Uncle to store it. Being a farmer he rolled it into the barn and put it up on blocks, drained the tank and ran the carbs dry, drained the oil, put a baggie over the pipe, let the air out of the tires, and drained the battery. He then put a blanket over it and wrapped it tightly with 3 tarps. He rode his bike on occasion but eventually stored his as well. Fast forward to 1995 and my Uncle had passed away. My Aunt called my Dad and asked if he would please come get the bikes out of her way. He did... and in less than a year my Mom told him to call me and get them out of her garage. My nephew took one and I took the other. Long story short, I replaced the fluids, pumped up the tires, put battery fluid in, changed out the fuel lines that had become brittle with age, and she fired right up. I've taken care of it properly, always garaging and keeping it moving by starting it a few times a year and riding it around the block about once a year. The bike currently has 512 miles and everything is original except the battery (3 years ago) . The tires still have the nubs and show no weather cracks. It runs and rides like new. I know, because I remember riding it when it was new. It still carries the one and only license plate and registration. I have a clean title in hand. It a shame to part with it but my wife said it's time to get it out of the way. I can email additional pictures or a video of the bike running and riding. 1970 Honda Scrambler , This 1970 Honda CL175 has been stripped down and rebuilt with more new parts than could be mentioned but here are a few. Rebuilt carbs (just cleaned 5/5/15) all new wiring harness, new paint and tank decal, new tires, new foot pegs, new petcock, new fuel lines, new clutch and throttle handles. It is not a perfect bike there are some knicks in the paint, kickstart doesn't work (has electric starter that works great), needs shock dust covers (I have them just haven't put them on will include), and the battery is weak. I have several parts from one of the parts bikes used to rebuild this one that I will include such as rear shocks, brake pads, chain, cables, headlight, turn signals, tires and wheels and more. For restoration or collection I took those pictures on end of the day with low sun . The paint color is rich orange but looks relay sun burned on most of the pictures . Up for auction is a Vintage 1972 Honda CL175 Scrambler in Nice Condition. The bike looks good and comes with a clear title. I know the bike runs but it currently would need carb cleaning to run because of long term storage. There is a dent in the tank on the right side as shown in the pictures. The seat is missing one hinge which can be replaced. The muffler looks great and almost new! There is some pitting or corrosion on metal surfaces.
