1997 Triumph Sprint 900 in Excellent Condition!  Only 6,729 miles as of 3/17/17!  Clear MD title in my name. This bike is in almost perfect condition and has been well taken care of.  The tires & brakes are in great shape. The following has been done within the last few hundred miles:  Oil and filter change (Mobil 1 4T full synthetic motorcycle-specific oil).  Check & adjust the valve clearances.  Clean & synchronize the carbs including replacing the floats and other carb parts with parts that aren’t affected by the ******** ethanol in gasoline nowadays!  The carbs were properly jetted for the nice-sounding Micron exhaust system.  New fuel tap.  Repaired/corrected sidestand.  Official Triumph service manual.  New spark plugs.  Brake fluid was replaced as was the fluid for the hydraulic clutch.  The cooling system was also flushed & re-filled with new coolant.  New K&N air filter.  Newly recovered seat in matching green and gray material---very comfy!  New handgrips.   “Triumph” tank pad.  Extras include a brand-new sidestand & a countershaft sprocket.  No flaws in the paint except for a small place where the seat has rubbed thru the paint on the tank.  You can’t see it when the seat is installed.  A new battery was installed last summer.  This bike also has the very rare optional Triump security system installed on it.  The bike starts right up, idles fine, and runs thru all 6 gears extremely well!  This is a great, low-mileage example of Triumph’s 900cc (actually, 885cc) triple.  If you talk to knowledgeable people, they’ll tell you that the 885 motor is better (from a reliability/longevity perspective) than either of the Triumph triple examples that followed it later.  I previously owned a 1996 Triumph Tiger with the same drivetrain---it was still running great (with nearly 90,000 miles on it, if I remember correctly) when I sold it.  I also owned a Triumph identical, except for color, to this one.  A great bike, too!  I just have too many bikes… The Micron exhaust sounds a bit snarly but is not obnoxiously loud.I’m asking $2,895 for this bike.  That’s a bit more than book value.  My price reflects the fact that the bike is sorted-out and has very low mileage on it.

Lots of expensive extras go with this bike!Only 3,702 miles (as of 3/17/17).  New Pirelli Diablo SuperSport rear tire at 3,234 miles.  I also installed a set of gold-anodized Renthal handlebars($63)---they put the grips a little higher & further back---much more comfortable than the stock bars!  New grips, too($17).  The stock bars go to the buyer.  I also purchased the stand for Ducati’s single-sided swingarm bikes ($313); a SW-Motech Quick-Lock tank ring and adapter kit ($67) (for a tank bag---which I’m keeping as it fits 2 of my other bikes);  the Ducati saddlebags and mounting kit ($559);  a “comfort” seat (very nice---$285 well spent!);  and a carbon tank protector ($63).  A couple of Ducati oil filters & washers ($42) go to the new owner, along with these toolsàSSR Stainless Socket 46/41mm for the rear wheel ($84) & the hub chain adjuster tool ($19).  The Yuasa YT12BBS was replaced under warranty at 2,526 miles on 5/7/16.  Battery Tender pigtail installed.  The 600-mile service was done where I bought the bike (I’m the original owner) Ducati Winchester (VA) AKA “The DucPond”.    Still under warranty!  (Expires 6/29/17)  The MSRP was $10,595 plus about $1,520 in add-ons = $12,115.  I’ll sell for $7,495.

The red Norge has ABS brakes, heated hand-grips, saddlebags and is wonderful travelling bike.  We have been all over N. America on it!   I’ve added a Throttlemeister cruise control ($143) and a GIVI mounting rack for a top box ($100) (the top GIVI box in the pics below stays with me---it’s been all over N. America & Europe with us so we’re going to keep it for sentimental reasons---you can always get another top box…).  I’ve also added the European oil check/fill assembly ($110) (no more disassembling the lower bodywork just to check the oil level!), bunjie hooks on the saddlebags ($25) and a tank protector. ($15) I’ll also include a GIANT  tank bag, too. ($125)  I spent $133 having a 3rd key cut---if I had known how much it was going to be, I probably wouldn’t have ordered the key blank… I’ve replaced the anemic, pipsqueaker horn with a much better one from Fiamm. ($20) Other features include---electrically adjustable windshield height, good tires (about ½ of their life still left on them), the factory shop manual in paper (about $100) & in .pdf format, extra headlight bulb and some other odds & ends.  Battery Tender  pigtail ($10); spare spark plugs ($90!!!) spare centerstand spring ($15)  I also have an electronic copy of the Moto Guzzi Norge Service Manual which I emailed to myself so that it’s always with me on my travels.  Have never needed it!  SW-Moteck tank bag mounting ring ($70) Altogether almost $1,000 in extras. The bike is shaft drive and very comfortable---we did multiple 2-up 700+ mile days.  Maintained religiously & I only used top-quality synthetic fluids & Guzzi filters.  The bike is almost flawless---looks almost showroom new.  ---but it’s been on some dirt roads so there’s a little bit of grime tucked-away in the impossible to reach nooks, crannies & crevices.  There is one small imperfection in the paint on the left saddlebag.  The bike only has 29,606 miles on it as of today (3/17/2017)---which is barely broken in for a big-block Guzzi!  (Service  done at 25,530 miles---Guzzi OEM oil filter plus synthetic oil).  The prior service included synthetic oil & Guzzi OEM filter plus all of the following: synthetic gear oil in the differential & transmission, new spark plugs, adjusted the valve clearances & installed new valve cover gaskets, checked brake pads.  All 3 magnetic drain plugs were clean.)  Oil (Mobil 1 4T full synthetic) and Guzzi filter changed at 23,221 before the New England ride and again at 25,530 miles.    I use only Guzzi filters & premium synthetic oil.  Installed 2 new Dunlop “Road-Smart” radials at 19,895 miles.  They are almost done---but I still have a set of Metzelers that still have plenty of tread on them that go with the bike.  They only have 4,122 miles on them. (Removed prior to western USA ride)It’s a great deal---asking $5,995 (These bikes are about $16,000 new!)

2012 Unique Suzuki GSX1250FA For Sale  VIN JS1GW72B8C2100001 !I bought this new in Jan., 2013.  It caught my eye because it was blue!  It was never supposed to be imported into N. America and, supposedly, it’s the only factory-blue one in the country.  You can get replacement plastic parts, the gas tank etc. if you need to from other countries that Suzuki exported blue ones to.  It’s definitely “One of one”!  Excellent condition-only 3,681 miles as of 3/17/17.  Properly maintained!I’ve installed a taller, dark windshield from Zero Gravity, ThrottleMeister bar ends/cruise control, heated grips, Battery Tender pigtail and a tank pad.  Stock parts (except the grips) go with the bike. This is a great bike!  Tons of torque from the big water-cooled fuel-injected in-line 4-cylinder engine.  6-speed transmission.  The seat adjusts for height (31.7” or 32.5”).  I’m 5’9” and am very comfortable on it at the lower setting.  5-gallon tank, decent MPG (45-50) and manageable weight (567 pounds but it feels like a lot less due to the bike’s low CG.   ABS brakes are nice to have, too.  Obviously, I didn’t ride this bike very much because of its rarity and also because I am fortunate enough to have other bikes to ride.  I can’t remember ever being caught in the rain on it.I need to get $5,995 for it.  The original MSRP + freight + set-up was a little over $12,000.  KBB says that a run-of-the-mill GSX1250FA shouldn’t sell this high BUT the unique color and unusual VIN plus the very low mileage all add to the value.

A vintage bike in very good condition with low miles and a low price!650cc in-line 4-cylinder with shaft drive.  71 HP---best of the bunch back in the day.  Starts and runs great---only 9,295 miles (as of 3/17/17).  I purchased it a few months ago and have done the following:  Clean the carbs, air filter & plugs, install a battery pigtail on the gel battery; change the oil & filter (Yamaha OEM), new gear lube in the rear drive; rebuild front caliper (K&L kit); check valve clearances (all were OK), flush front brake system.  General going-over---all electrics work, tires are good as are brakes.  Will need right fork seal---I’ve got Yamaha fork seals & dust seals but haven’t gotten to this task yet.  A K&L brake caliper rebuild kit goes with the bike (didn’t need it!)  Clear PA title.First $1,495 takes it!

A rare machine in excellent condition!  You won't park next to any others at Bike Night!!!This is a rare bike—I’ve only ever seen 2 others (one with a sidecar).  20,646 miles as of 3/17/17.  Starts & runs great---and I’ll be installing a brand-new gel battery sometime this week.  (The old one is not holding a charge as well as it used to…)Specifications:  494cc 4-stroke 4-valve single-cylinder making 34 HP & 26 ft-lbs of torque.  5-speed & enclosed drive chain & sprockets.  Electric start (overhauled & works great!) and kick start (with compression release).  18” wheels, 32” seat height but it seems lower because the bike is so light (348 pounds fully-fueled).  Gets 50+ MPG.  At 18,187 miles, the following maintenance was completed (Mostly by Charlie Mullendore at Antietam Classic Cycle):  Oil & filter change (Shell Rotella T 15w40 and the filter is the same as the one used on a BMW650 single-cylinder bike); New upper & lower breather hoses; new fuel line; adjusted valve clearances; replaced timing belt; cleaned air filter; new tires & tubes; new front brake caliper & pads.  The electric starter assembly was completely rebuilt and the carb cleaned about a thousand miles earlier.  See following pages for more details & pictures.Modifications include:  Hard bags; café flyscreen/windshield and a 1-tooth smaller CS sprocket.  Bar-end mirrors and front & rear turn signals are installed.Extras included in the sale:  52-page Owner’s Manual (with detailed wiring diagram);  Factory service manual (3-ring binder---it includes the supplement for the factory sidecar (Gespann model)); Rotax factory manual (for the engine & transmission); miscellaneous technical bulletins & info;  spare caliper & brake pads; original mirrors & turn signals;  new-in-box OEM Bing carb diaphragm spring; new fork dust seals; pOEM plug cap; miscellaneous nuts, bolts etc to re-install stock parts; new-in-box Ferodo FSB 823 brake shoes (not needed yet); spare Bing carb; and a small stack of literature, articles, MuZ Dealer Application and price list (I almost became a dealer in 1994…), full color dealer ads for the entire 1994 MuZ product line and who knows what else?!?!  The 1994 MSRP was over $6,000 with freight.Send an email for additional pictures!

The bike is in great condition. The red 1991 has 29,895 miles on it as of 3/17/17 ---and will increase as my wife & I ride it regularly.  Descriptions on page 2 and then more pics on the following pages.  No nicks in the paint, tears in the seats etc. There are tons of expensive extras that go with this bike!On the bike: Progressive rear shocks and front fork springs, Spitfire windshield, decent brakes, Fiamm horns, Ventura pack system (the grab rail stays with the bike but I’m keeping the bag for my other bikes with the Ventura system), and a ProGrip tank pad.  Stock parts go with the bike.  Almost new Gel battery, Suzuki factory shop manual, Battery Tender pigtail.  All the extras cost me about $684.The  bike has one very small scuff on the right-side muffler).  The bike starts easy & runs great.  Gets about 50-53MPG.   I’ve seen 60+ on lazy, backroads days!  I’ve been on two 2,500-mile trips on the bike in 2012 & 2013.  More info after pics!!! Well-maintained since I got it.  Synthetic motorcycle-specific oil and Suzuki filters every 3,000 miles.  It’s just about due again (Done @ 27,005) and I’ll perform the service for the new owner.  Synthetic gear oil in the rear drive/differential, too. Here are some of the spares that I’d like to sell with the bike.  I want to sell the bike---plus all of the spares---as a “package deal”.  Spares include (I had a lot of spares since I & friends traveled on the bikes and didn’t want to find ourselves stranded  1,000 miles from home): Travelcade seat in excellent conditionNew-in-box (NIB---also means in original packaging if not boxed) Rectifier/Regulator module PLUS a used one that’s supposed to be good but I never had a reason to install it to find out.Dyna coils and Dyna plug wires NIBNIB StatorLeft & right-side engine cases & gasketRear drive seal NIBFuel pump NIB and fuel petcock NIB and fuel pump repair kit NIBClutch cable NIBSteering head bearings NIBAll three wheel bearings & seals NIBSpare rear turn signalsStock subframe parts if you choose to remove the Ventura rack Exhaust gaskets NIBBrake pads NIB(2) sets of stock fork springs & one set of stock shocks(2) expensive iridium spark plugs NIBThat’s a lot of spares and they cost a bunch of $$$.  The good thing about having this stuff is that I’ve never needed any of it! See more pictures on the following pages.$2,495 takes everything!  That gets you a bike I paid $2,076 for, plus nearly $700 of accessories, plus nearly a thousand dollars in spares and extras.  A pretty good deal! Two new tires installed at 25,072 miles---they still have plenty of tread on them.
