The Perfect Blend of Performance, Handling, and Desire. Is Honda's CBR600RR the perfect sportbike? Plenty of riders think so. And it's easy to see why. First off, it offers a near magical combination of light weight, free-revving power, compliant suspension and all in a package that's sized just right. Next, the CBR600RR has been honed to perfection on the track, where it dominates the World Supersport championship scene. And then there's the CBR's awe-inspiring degree of Honda technology: tuned twin-spar frame, Programmed fuel injection, the Honda Electronic Steering Damper (HESD) and Honda's available Combined ABS that all add up to put the CBR600RR way ahead of anything in the 600 class. But at the end of the day, one thing stands out above all the rest: The CBR600RR is just a blast to ride. And isn't that why you're looking at sportbikes in the first place? Breakthrough Braking: The CBR600RR's Combined ABS is the first of its kind on a Supersport machine. The experts are unanimous: brakes like these are a huge step forward. They love them, and you're going to love them even more. Honda Electronic Steering Damper: Compact, unobtrusive and there when you need it, the Honda Electronic Steering Damper (HESD) helps maintain smoothly predictable high-speed handling and low-speed maneuverability. It's a huge breakthrough in predictable, responsive handling. A Leader on the track and off: The CBR600RR flat out OWNS the World Supersport Championship. Follow Honda's string of victories and catch up on Team Honda's racing highlights, including classes like MotoGP and Moto2 as well. 2012 Honda CBR®, * Price shown excludes destination charges, optional accessories, applicable taxes, installation, setup and/or other dealer fees. Assisted Slipper Clutch: Superbikes can deliver a great deal of backtorque through the driveline, upsetting handling. Not the CBR1000RR. Its Honda-designed Assisted Slipper Clutch is the same type used on our MotoGP bikes. The design does away with the need for heavy clutch springs ensuring full power transmission with smooth shifting and a light clutch pull at the lever. Dual-Stage Fuel Injection: Two sets of injectors per cylinder for both low- and high-rpm performance. Instantaneous high-rpm response, along with great low-rpm metering and clean running. For 2012, newly refined EFI settings make the engine even more manageable, with smoother throttle response specifically at smaller throttle openings. Centrally Located Fuel Tank: The CBR1000RR's 4.7-gallon fuel tank is positioned in the center of the chassis and low in the frame. This allows for a more compact design, but even more important helps centralize the bike's mass. Increased mass centralization means the CBR is more responsive to rider input, especially when leaning the bike into a turn or standing it up at the exit. Twin-Spar Aluminum Chassis: Four-piece aluminum frame design balances strength, rigidity, and lightness. Wrapped tightly around the engine, the structure helps centralize the CBR1000RR's mass for more responsive handling--some of the best anywhere on two wheels. BPF Front Suspension: The CBR1000RR's all-new front suspension uses a Big Piston Fork (BPF). The new 43mm Showa fork is smoother and more responsive, and gives you excellent front-end feedback. Unit Pro-Link® Rear Suspension: The CBR1000RR features new suspension front and rear. In the back, the Unit Pro-Link design uses a new Balance Free Rear shock that uses a double-tube design for smoother and more accurate response. Gull-Wing Swingarm: The CBR1000RR's braced aluminum 'gull wing' swingarm is deliberately long. That helps deliver improved traction and gives the rider excellent chassis feedback. Honda Electronic Steering Damper New 12-Spoke Wheels: With their consistent rigidity and balance, these sharp-looking 12-spoke cast aluminum wheels work with the new fork and enhances suspension feedback to deliver real handling improvements. New Layered Fairing: There's no mistaking the new 2012 CBR1000RR, thanks to its all new Layered Fairing bodywork. Lean, mean, more aggressive from front to back, it's a real attention getter, even when it's standing still. New LCD Instruments: The CBR1000RR's new, full-screen LCD instrumentation includes lap timer, trip and fuel-consumption computer, five-level customizable shift indicator, gear-position indicator and peak-rpm memory function. Engine Engine Type: 999 cc liquid-cooled inline four-cylinder Bore And Stroke: 76 mm x 55.1 mm Induction: Dual Stage Fuel Injection (DSFI) Ignition: Computer-controlled digital transistorized with

2010 BMW S, * Price shown excludes destination charges, optional accessories, applicable taxes, installation, setup and/or other dealer fees. This is how you build a superbike! The BMW S 1000 RR. When we build a superbike, we have no time for second best. We now present the very latest in racing power. With an aluminium bridge, radial brakes, a super sporty tail-up nose-down design, hot colours and the ultimate combination of electronic rider assistance systems: the first genuine racing ABS, whose features include a front-wheel-only mode, dynamic traction control (DTC) which permits varying degrees of slip, depending on the lean angle. The more the rider hangs off, the more upright the bike and the longer the lines on leaving the curve. Never before was it so easy to keep so much power under control. This is just as true on public roads as it is down on the racetrack. The RR label shows that it is a full-blooded racing bike, even though it can also be ridden with a number plate attached. To top it all off is an engine which is our absolute pride and joy. And our motorsports team agree wholeheartedly. Top Features Street-ready Sport Bike: A rider in the market for a practical 600cc bike doesn t have to compromise performance or style to get value. The FZ6R is a great combination of performance, handling, and exciting sport bike style, but also with a low seat height that s both adjustable to fit a wider variety of riders and also narrower where it counts to make it even easier to put both feet on the ground. Smooth 4-Cylinder Motor: The engine delivers smooth power just the way today s rider needs it, providing brisk acceleration with plenty of torque that makes it a pleasure to get around town, with plenty in reserve for when you want more. The FZ6R is fuel injected and tuned for outstanding low- to mid-rpm engine performance. Agile Handling: Even if your primary goal is commuting to school or work, you want to be able to get out and have fun riding some twisty back roads. The diamond-shaped frame, made of high-tensile steel pipes using the engine as a structural member of the chassis, becomes the foundation for handling performance. It s designed to provide the right rigidity balance to contribute to smooth cornering performance. Engine Features Real World Performance: The fuel-injected engine in the FZ6R has been designed to meet the demands of today s motorcyclist. The 600cc liquid-cooled 4-stroke inline 4-cylinder engine is ready to respond with smooth, linear performance when the rider twists the throttle. Maximum output is achieved at a spirited 10,000 rpm and maximum torque is obtained at 8,500 rpm. Bottom line: Its outstanding torquey low to mid rpm engine performance is just right for someone who enjoys commuting to work or school or riding the canyons on the weekends. Forged Pistons: Lightweight forged aluminum pistons are used. Because the aluminum alloy is heated and formed under pressure without having to melt it completely as in conventional casting techniques, the strength of the original metallurgic matrix of the aluminum is maintained. As a result, a forged piston is stronger than a cast one and can thus be designed for lighter weight, which contributes to a reduction in vibration. In fact, many riders will be surprised at how smooth this motor is. Powerful ECU: The 32-bit ECU controls the four-hole, two-direction, high-dynamic range type fuel injectors for superior injection control. By delivering the precise fuel-air mixture needed for conditions, the engine can deliver great power and fuel economy. Compact Midship Exhaust: Much like many of today s high end sport bikes, the FZ6R has a 4-into-2-into-1 midship exhaust. Not only does it provide a throaty, yet comfortably quiet exhaust note, the system also includes 3-way catalytic converter technology to reduce
