2009 Kawasaki KLX250sf Black 2009 KLX 250SF. 250cc Dual Purpose Dirt Bike/Road bike. Very fun to ride especially short distances or zipping around town. Kawasaki website claims about 70mpg. I only got between 55-62mpg. Insurance is dirt cheap. Extremely fun. It has been serviced new K and N oil filter every 2,000 miles. It uses Kawasaki 10-40 oil as recommended by Kawasaki dealership. Back brakes need replaced. The weather has faded the blacks on the bike. It has been stored under a carport at home, but at work it was exposed to the sun and rain for 2 summers. (See pictures) Because of that the chain appears a bit rusty although it doesn't impede with the function of the bike, but this is not a brand new motorcycle, it does show some wear and tear with normal use. I bought it new from Kawasaki dealership in ClearWater about 2 years ago and it has saved me SOOO much in gas and insurance. I paid $4600 2 years ago, it was a 2009 model but I bought it in 2012 so for years it never even had any use it just sat in a showroom according to the Kawasaki dealership. Blue book says its worth about $3,000 in excellent condition. Mine would not qualify as excellent condition, so I have reduced the price. The main ugly part is that the sun faded some of the black plastics. Dealership said you can buff them out, paint them or replace them or even a sticker kit. It has FMF slip on exhaust, the reason I bought that exhaust was so cars could hear me when I was next to them. I love the way it sounds. It has a small exhaust leak that has never bothered me but I want to be as detailed as possible about the bike and its condition. Back tire is fairly new, the tires seem to last forever for some reason. The front tire is fairly new too, the originals were cracking so these were purchased at the beginning of the summer of 2014 that way if it rained there was good channels in the tires for traction. This is SUCH a fun motorcycle to ride and is super cheap. I need the money right now so thats why Im selling.
