She fires right up as soon as you it the starter button, runs beautifully, charges nicely, goes through all 6 gears with no issues and no engine smoke (compression: 165psi left cylinder, 163psi right cylinder - see photos). She is a super reliable bike, great gas mileage, a great daily commuter and definitely a head turner. She is truly a very nice ride and would look right at home in anyone’s collection - we put about 100 worry free miles on her since completion! Clutch modified with a Tamer 2. Very cool bike. All lights work, including turn signals, front and rear brake light switches, headlight and horn. This was my girlfriend's starting bike since last year July 2014. It was bought as a cafe racer project and within 2 months the old girl was back up and kicking. It is loud as hell and it feels great. She's upgrading to a Triumph Scrambler and would like to sell it. Things done to the bike:-Carburators-Brand new black leather seat-Handlebars-Mirrors-Filters-Electrical Wiring had to be worked on-Electrical Relay was installed for those that do not want to kick the bike on like us (we're not soccer players)-Kick start works as well-Brand new battery-Brand new headlight-Brand new turn signals & rear stop light-Clutch and brake lever are not originalThe bike is missing the Speedometer cable as I have not been able to find one but the RPM one works just fine. The tank has never been worked on and it doesn't seem to be the original one. Like I said, it was a learning bike for her. You can either continue to modify it or a great learner's bike just like how she used it. I am unsure of how many miles it has but it marks at almost 9,000 miles so far. We've had the antique plate on it which looks awesome and draws a ton of attention when we go riding.I can send you videos through iMessage or Snapchat.
