1979 Honda GL1000 runs and rides nice. Tons of new parts New: Starter and solenoid Front and rear master cylinders Front and rear brake pads Dyna coils, plugs and wires Dyna electronic ignition Push and pull throttle cables Clutch cable Recent service, timing belts fluid changes and head gasket. Carbs rebuilt and sychronized New Avon road rider tires Backrest recovered The bad: Exhaust is a little rough and a bit to loud for me. Rear tires loses air after a few days I think the rim may leak Small tear in the seat Rock chips in the timing cover Overall it's a good running nice example of a classic GL1000 Buyer will need to pick up bike in person ONLY with cash. I will NOT ship the bike.

I've had the bike for about 4 years and have ridden regularly until my hip replacements. It has always got me down the road. Its not showroom quality, has some paint defects and surface rust here and there. I installed this Towpac trike kit right after I got it. There is less than 500 miles on it. The bike handles good and the trike kit isn't felt after you get going. The bike is somewhat heavy turning at slow speed. I've added extra lighting on the rear. and I added used Bates removable saddlebags.

1979 Honda Goldwing GL1000 New Parts: New Paint! Avon Road Rider Tires OEM Honda Fuel Pump Dynatek electronic ignition Dynatek coils, plugs, and wires Air filter Starter cylinoid Rebuilt and synced Carbs Timing belts Head Gaskets Front and Rear master cylinder and pads Clutch cable Rebuilt starter Recent oil change and oil filter Recent coolant change Valves adjusted Fuel tank cleaned with new fuel lines Tank center recovered Passenger backrest pad recovered Thermostat housing gasket has a couple of drips after a day of riding. Rear tire leaks after a couple of days. Small tear on seat, see picture. Exhaust is rusty and has holes. NO TRADES. Bike is in good running and riding condition...
