I have for sale a 1999 BMW R1100GS. If motorcycles could talk, this thing would have a great story. I have not owned it long but since taking ownership it has had the transmission rebuilt with new bearings and seals as well as the timing chain tensioner on the left side upgraded. It currently has 61000 miles on it with a fresh oil change in the engine, transmission and final drive and as far as I can tell is in excellent mechanical condition. I personally have put about 5000 miles on it, 4000 of which is on the tranny rebuild. It is not pretty to look at, but it is set up for long distance adventure touring and it does it with ease. For sale is a very clean, never abused dual sport with many high dollar aftermarket parts. Only 1,125 miles as of now. Look at the pics of the tires. They are like new with the nubs still on the side. I had it serviced at the dealer this past spring and installed a new AGM battery. The best parts are the FMF Q4 pipe with a properly tuned Dynojet kit and the Renazco Racing seat. Other options are a Battery Tender with wiring, Moose Racing handlebar protectors, Touratech map holder and a rear luggage rack. Comes with a factory service manual and tools, spare key, about 2 quarts of oil and a new filter as well as the factory pipe. Not installed but great items are the Unabiker Racing rad guards and a headlight kit from DDM Tuning. The rad guard should just bolt on but the light will require some minor mods to install. Clean and clear title in my name. Note - This bike is listed as an OR/Off-Road (not street legal) vehicle, which means you'll need to do an extra step in getting it plated. This is usually called a "change of body style" form which confirms with an officer that the bike has all necessary gear to make it street legal (Indiana, this is all free to do). In this case, that's the installed enduro kit (mirror, turn signals, horn, brake light, head light). You can print this form off your states BMV website. All that being said, please check your local laws and see what you'll need to do if you're interested in getting it plated. Fast bike that looks great. Please message with any questions. I have no problem taking additional pictures or video. Good luck ADDED: Shipping I've had numerous inquires in regards to shipping the bike. I've used uship (an online marketplace for shipping goods) twice with great success. Both of which (sprint kart and 300xc) for less than $230 from the east coast to the midwest. I actually only paid $130 to have the kart shipped. All you have to do is start an ad on their site and shipping companies big and small will give you offers. The nice thing is you can get quotes before you even buy (or win an ebay auction) and you are charged nothing. It's basically a free way to get a bunch of quotes from shippers. Initially, you'll get high quotes from some of the big companies, but if you haggle and hold out (took about 24 hours for the good bids to start rolling in), you can get a great deal. For both my shipments the initial quote was over $500 and after about 24 hours, I had a few offers around $250 and then haggled my way to less than $230. Great site and I'd recommend it. Also, I'm available to meet the shipping company to pickup literally anytime the next three or four weeks, so that may open up some shipping options when filling out the ad details.
