1979 Honda GL1000 runs and rides nice. Tons of new parts New: Starter and solenoid Front and rear master cylinders Front and rear brake pads Dyna coils, plugs and wires Dyna electronic ignition Push and pull throttle cables Clutch cable Recent service, timing belts fluid changes and head gasket. Carbs rebuilt and sychronized New Avon road rider tires Backrest recovered The bad: Exhaust is a little rough and a bit to loud for me. Rear tires loses air after a few days I think the rim may leak Small tear in the seat Rock chips in the timing cover Overall it's a good running nice example of a classic GL1000 Buyer will need to pick up bike in person ONLY with cash. I will NOT ship the bike.

2003 Honda Goldwing. Runs and handles very well. Only minor scratches and scrapes. Never wrecked. This is a very nice bike with lots of extras. Has cruise control, CB radio, reverse, drivers backrest, passengers and drivers footboards, passengers volume and push to talk button. Several lights have been added. Also has a trailer hitch. New tires last season. New battery this season. This is a very nice bike. No issues that I am aware of. Just don't ride as much due to health reasons. 1981 Honda GL100VIN: 1hfsc020xba120209 condition: excellent engine displacement (CC): 1100 fuel: gas odometer: 59443 paint color: black title status: clean transmission: manual safety tips prohibited items product recalls I am selling this for my dad who has had this bike for about the last 10 years. He is a certified Honda mechanic and has been through just about everything on this bike. He stripped it down about 6 years ago and replaced the following at that time...front fork seals, rebuilt rear shocks, New head gaskets, new timing belts, new water pump, rebuilt all the brakes, new braided brake lines and master cylinder, gas tank cleaned and lined, carbs rebuilt and much more. He also had the frame painted orange, and the fenders and tank painted flat black at that time. The bike looks very nice and only has some very minor blemishes (stone chips, minor scratches). I would rate the mechanics of this bike a 10 out of 10, and the cosmetics a 8 out of 10 considering the age of the bike. This bike has only been ridden a few times each year since he refurbished it. It is time to let someone else enjoy her. It is always kept in climate controlled shop. It has good rubber, a newer battery and it runs, rides and looks Great! I've had the bike for about 4 years and have ridden regularly until my hip replacements. It has always got me down the road. Its not showroom quality, has some paint defects and surface rust here and there. I installed this Towpac trike kit right after I got it. There is less than 500 miles on it. The bike handles good and the trike kit isn't felt after you get going. The bike is somewhat heavy turning at slow speed. I've added extra lighting on the rear. and I added used Bates removable saddlebags.

Whether you're a veteran rider, or want to try a touring machine for the first time, this is a great bike for you! Goldwings are noted for going hundreds of thousands of miles and this one is just getting started. I purchased it last year, and basically saved myself $60 a week riding it to work and back. It has never given me an ouce of trouble. The paint is shiny, and their are no significant dents or scratches. Paint is a Tan/beige metallic, with dark brown panels.Has floorboards instead of pegs, and a heel/toe shifter. Lots of extra chrome on the bike, and more that goes with it. The Markland light bars are not hooked up, but could be if you want to. Upholstery is not ripped or torn. I love the backrest for trips or every day riding. Has AM/FM Stereo and cassette, and wiring for intercom system. Everything works as it should, the engine runs great, has been serviced and is ready to ride anywhere.It is in storage in Elkhart, IN. THE LEAST EXPENSIVE GL 1800 ON EBAY! -- 2006 Honda Gold Wing / Goldwing, GL 1800----- Burgandy in color, ---(dark red) --- Runs and rides great ! -- Looks very good, has a new tire on front, (last week) --- Rear tire is good for another season or two. ---- No ABS -- No Nav ---No heated grips--- Has 4 speaker stereo --- everything works as it should, including the cruise control, etc, Only thing that does not work properly is reverse. --- I do not know why, ---- sometimes it will go into reverse, most of the time it does not. The "R" on the dash will flash about 1 time per second, my guess is a faulty relay, or a cable adjustment. It it worked fine until this season, -----I have owned many Gold Wings, and many more Harleys, If you are old with a fat passenger, you may have a need for 'reverse' otherwise, it truly doesn't get much use. (except to show your friends that you can go backwards) -- Am selling AS IS, I have discounted the price accordingly, and the price is FIRM! --- Just had all new hydraulic clutch seals and fluids put in it, -----new front and rear brakes with less than 1,000 miles! --- Paint is good, mechanically is very good, ---- everything works except the reverse as noted. --- Honda made vast improvements for the GL 1800 beginning in 2006.
