For Sale 2003 Ducati 999s mono posto with only 6146 miles. The bike has aftermarket Xerox livery right now, but I do have the original plastic as well and will include it with the sale. Previous owner dropped it low speed so there is some very repairable road rash on the left side of the bike, just the left fairing. The front is fine. The left stock turn signal was damaged so its useless. I do have the right one and its also included with the sale. On the mirrors, if you have ridden one of these, they basically only show you your shoulders so I used bar end mirrors on it. It doesn't come with the bar end mirrors.. you can get them cheap on E bay. I installed front blinkers on the front fairing you can see them in the pictures as stock they are in the mirrors. The bike has a Termingioni Carbon Covered after market exhaust designed specifically for the 999s and it also has the Ducati Performance updated ECU that came with the exhaust with the proper Maps for the increased HP. Since it is an S model it has the Ohlins Front forks and also the Ohlins Rear Shock. The 999s has special light weight Marchesini Rims and has brand new Michelin Pilot 1 tires on it with 60 miles on them. It also has a brand new battery. I have a video of it running when I took these pictures so if you want to hear it message me an e mail address and I will send it. Starts on the first push of the button every time. The bike is a total monster, its light and super scary fast when you push it, and amazingly balanced and easy to ride on the street and in traffic, need I say the handling is simply amazing. With the Xerox body work it turns heads every time I ride it like no other. On to the other stuff. This bike has a salvaged NY title. The reason that it does and I want to be totally up front, is that I bought this bike from a owner of a Motorcycle Dealerships collection in Texas about 5 years ago. The previous owner had his collection in a garage with about 30 bikes in it. There was a 6 inch flood in the garage and some of his choppers and harleys were totaled. He also did not have all the bikes insured, so instead of using the bikes insurance, the entire collection was totaled and paid for by his home owners and flood insurance. The owner told me the bike was on track stands during the flood and the water didn't even touch the bottom of the fairing, when I got it and tore it down, it was obvious that no water was anywhere near this motor. The bottom of the motor is clean and there is no damage what so ever from water. not one bit. Its a shame how the law works on this. So with that said, in NY State if a bike or car is marked as salvage or rebuild it has to be inspected by the state in order for the owner to receive a title. This bike has been inspected and have a NY Title, so in NY you can take the title to dmv and register it. I believe the laws here are rediculous and most other states arent so strict. The inspector commented on how nice the bike was. This bike is in immaculate condition as you can see from the pictures, outside 2 things. 1 is the left Side of the gas tank has the dreaded 999 dent from when he dropped the bike and the handlebar hit the tank. I have seen it many times before and it is what it is.. the pant is not cracked on the tank, just a dent. there is a good picture of it. Lastly the heat from the exhaust has discolored or yellowed some of the paint on the back of the engine. This is common for the 999, and I had heat wrap on it and it came off a year ago. I never thought it would do that but its really effects nothing. Those are the 2 physical issues with the bike. This bike is in great shape outside that, its been maintained and loved by me, I am a Ducatisi for a long time. I am selling it because I need the room in my single garage and cant fit all my bikes in there and I honestly havent ridden it all that much as I spend most of my riding on an old 900ss and this bike needs to be owned and loved and ridden. With only 6146 miles on it its barely broken in. Someone will really enjoy this fine machine and it is as amazing to ride as it is to look at. All sales are final and bound to NY State Law. There are no returns. The bike is for sale Locally as well, so I reserve the right to end the auction early. Please feel free to contact me with any questions at all Payment, I require a 500$ deposit upon the winning auction via pay pal or a credit card. Winning bidder please message me and I will send you my cell to make arrangements for payment of the deposit. I then require the payment for the balance in full via bank, certified or cashiers check that must clear before you can pick it up. Bid winner must arrange for shipping the bike if its not to be picked up. The winner of this auction will be a very happy person with an amazing motorcycle. I hate to see it go.. its a piece of art.

Bike has not been used for the last 3 years. It's been built to be a very light and reliable race/track bike. I was really determined to shave as much weight as i can from it. So there are a lot of after hour parts and hours of work that went into the bike. I'm gonna try to list all, but i'm sure i will forget things. The bike has almost NO Stock parts. The bike handles superly with 200 in the rear. Will handle like a 600 with 190 rear. I also did a lot of research on the best setup for the bike. It's setup is spot on for me. The engine is very strong and smooth. - Engine sent to Eric Colbath (One of the best Ducati mechanic on the east cost) - Blue print and cam degree was done by him. $$$$- Port and polish was done by Bruce Meyer (No need to introduce him) $$$$$- Flywheel and crank was shimmed down to as much as possible and balanced by Ben Fox Performance. $$$$$- Pistal Hi-Compression pistons were put in. again was balanced with Ben Fox. $$$$- Ergal belt roller was put on to save weight. $$- Speedymoto water pump- yoyodyne Slipper clutch.- Race harness + all of the un-nessacery wires were taken out manually for weight savings. - Genesys Li-Battery (identical to speedcell)- New timing belt. - Stock red gas tank- Keyless START/STOP switch. - New Nemesis 2 ECU (has the map from what doug did) ($1100) - FULL HPE exhaust. The canister has few 100 miles on it. Replaced with a new one from DucShop. Much lighter than Termi. It's very much like a Leo Vince. - EVR carbon fiber Air Box with Runners (this alone is a $2200 part)- Stock airbox and runners. - Battery box has been removed and fitted speedcell battery. A lot of weight was taken off and cleaned the area. - Sharkskiz with perfect paint job on it. - All of the NON-essential bolts were replaced by lightweight strong aluminum bolt kit. - Titanium Front brake caliper bolts. - Titanium Front and rear brake disk bolts. - Speedy Frame sliders. - 16.5' Forged mag Wheels. I was told they were off one of the european made ones and they are lighter. I have few unused rear ntecs that i will throw into it. - 17' stock rear wheel- lightweight front 15 sprocket. (it has holes drilled to make it lighter)- lightweight rear sprockets (i have several….38,39,40,41)- New DID chain that i haven't even put on yet )- Starlane stealth lap timer gps- Most of the coolant hoss are replaced with silicon hoseSuspension - 27mm ohlins triple clamp set. - 999s SBK inserts ohlins upgrade to the R/T forks- 749R rear shock setup upgraded and setup by DucSop (fixed ALL my suspension issues) $$$$Brembo Brake master cylinder 19x18 Brembo Brake master cylinder 19x18 spareBrembo Clutch master cylinderGalfer lightweight front brake disk with aluminum buttons (takes around 1 pound off) and with brand new brake pads. Galfer lightweight rear brake disk. Woodcraft Black two piece clip onWoodcraft replaceable handle bar. woodcraft rear sets. GP shift lever.
