The suspension system is completed and perfectly balanced with a fully adjustable Öhlins 46PRC rear shock with a ride enhancing top-out spring, controlling the single-sided swingarm for outstanding drive, traction and steering precision. The Öhlins package is completed with a control-enhancing adjustable steering damper.The 'S' also sets a new standard for lightweight performance. I have a 2008 Ducati 1098 with just over 5000 original miles on it. This bike is in showroom condition and had been very well taken care of. There are a ton of upgrades to this bike and the new owner will not be disappointed. The list of upgrades include: -Full Ohlins Suspension dealer installed at purchase -Ohlins steering damper -Full Termi racing exhaust with shorty cans, racing ecu and k&n filter -speedymoto triple clamp -speedymoto adjustable clip ons -Sargent seat -a bunch of carbon parts including: windscreen, mirror covers, ram air covers, key guard, fuel tank guard, fuel tank side guards, rear seat cowl cover, clutch cover, sprocket cover, swing arm cover, chain guard, license plate cover, rear wheel hugger and rear under tail. Most of the parts are from the same company so they match perfectly. I hate when there are various companies carbon and all the weaves are different patterns and shades. That's why I stuck with the same company for 95% of the parts and the 2 pieces that aren't were because they didn't make them and they are very close to the other companies pattern and shade so it isn't noticeable. -aftermarket rear sets -HID lighting both low and high beam -integrated led tail light -custom Hot Hues Molten Orange Candy paint job -quick action system fuel cap -brand new aftermarket billet clutch basket with brand new pressure plate, springs and Bartlett clutch pack The bike was recently services and includes new plugs, new gel cell battery, fresh oil change with k&n filter and Mobil 1 20w-50 twin cylinder oil, chain tension adjusted with fresh chain wax and a complete detail job. All brake and clutch fluids have been converted over to dot 5 high temp silicone to eliminate any possible heat fade. This bike is immaculate!! I know the first question is why the sale. Well for starters, I have too many toys and I don't get to use this that much and the biggest reason is there is a new snowmobile I'm hot for and want to use the money from this to purchase that instead of having a loan. I also have a 1098 Streetfighter that I ride plus 2 jetskis I ride so this baby is a shelf queen mostly. The title is clean and has no leans so it can be an instant transfer for the buyer. Interested in a trade for a sports car. 9,700 miles Bought the bike 3 years ago with 2,000 miles. I am the 2nd owner. Performed all of the upgrades myself. The front fender is faded as is the belly pan but not as bad as the fender. Can be removed and brought to a body shop to have the clear coat redone. I had a local shop do some small pieces for me and they looked brand new afterwards. The bike is in very good condition over all. Mechanically perfect. No oil leaks. Buyer will pick up or hire a shipping company. Any questions, please ask. UPGRADES: Ducati performance chip (Computer chip sent out by Ducati of Ossining and Installed by Ducati). Termignoni carbon slip on exhaust. K&N air filter. Pazzo Racing clutch and brake lever (Standard long size). Zero Gravity windscreen. Carbon fiber nose (stock decal installed). Carbon fiber tail (stock decal installed). Carbon fiber belly pan. Carbon fiber exhaust shield. Carbon fiber ignition surrounding. Carbon fiber under tank side panels. Carbon fiber solo seat cover. Carbon fiber front and rear tire fenders. Gold rearsets. Black anodized fairing bolt kit. Powder coat, flat black passenger foot pegs. Pretty sure that's about it for upgrades. No modifications, just select upgrades. MAINTENANCE: Required 7,000 mile service performed by Ducati @ Hudson Valley Motorcycles in Ossining, N.Y. (Valves needed no adjustments). Oil changed every 1,000 miles with Mobil 1 Racing 4T 10W-40 and K&N oil filter. Tires are Michelin 2CT at about 45% tread. Battery was new, spring of 2016 (stock YUASA). There is a coolant leak in the top left corner of the cooling fins. Happened recently. I can perform the replacement of the radiator for the interested buyer if need be but I am selling the bike as is at the moment.
