Motor runs smoothly and responds to throttle with authority, great low end and mid-range power. The FZ1 was/is Yamaha's venture into the naked bike category, the motor is based on the mighty R1 sport-bike motor but tamed down a bit for a wider and more linear power-band for street type riding. This taming knocks off a little top end power in exchange for a very smooth, very wide spread of power which goes to the back tire in a completely predictable manner. The bike is equipped as shown with everything from CRG levers, aftermarket grips, bar ends, brake hoses, exhaust, Battery Tender standard connection, adjustable lowering link with adjustable side stand and probably a few items I am missing in the description. We raised the bike back up a bit as it seemed too low to me. That said these are friendly riding and from the factory have a pretty low seat height compared to almost all sport bikes. This is the type of bike offering all day comfort, big power and good looks that is meant to be ridden. Even the highly tuned/stressed versions of this motor used in the Yamaha R1 are typically capable of 70-90k miles without any major issues so this one has a LOT of life in it and due to being cosmetically imperfect it is for sale cheap. There is nothing crazy bad in terms of cosmetics, I tried to show in pictures as accurate as possible the blemishes, please take time to look through all the pics. Fast, fun, easy to ride, comfortable and cheap are a combination not all that common! No salvage history, clean blue Texas title. AF1 RACING AUSTIN9900 N Interstate 35Austin, TX 78753Tue-Fri: 10am-6pm, Sat: 10am-5pm(512) 482-8377

The ECU settings have been revised for increased performance Features & Benefits Key Features:The 2009 Daytona 200 winner is back and ready for the street or track.Light, powerful, and bristling with knowledge gained from years of racing, the YZF-R6 is the most advanced production 600cc motorcycle Yamaha or anybody else has ever built. The YZF-R6 was the first production motorcycle with a fly-by-wire throttle system for flawless response under all conditions.YCC-I®, Yamaha Chip Controlled Intake, is used on the R6 to vary intake tract length for excellent cylinder filling and a broader powerband. On the higher-revving R6, its benefits are even more pronounced.Back torque-limiting slipper-type clutch greatly facilitates braking/downshifting from high speed. Close-ratio 6-speed transmission delivers seamless power and maximum acceleration.Engine:Compact, lightweight 67mm x 42.5mm, 599cc DOHC 16-valve, liquid- cooled titanium-valved four-cylinder has a compression ratio of 13.1:1, for great response. Domed pistons with valve cutouts produce a compact combustion chamber.Fuel injection mapping for the YCC-T Yamaha Chip Controlled Throttle dual-injector system complements the high compression ratio for great throttle response and reduced engine braking.YCC-I Yamaha Chip Controlled Intake electronically varies intake tract length for a broader powerband.A magnesium subframe removes weight from the rear of the motorcycle for increased mass centralization.YCC-T uses a powerful ECU and multiple sensors to provide perfect, smooth engine response and optimal power whenever the throttle is twisted under all conditions.Twin-injector fuel injection: shower-type injectors above each intake funnel help achieve optimum fuel atomization at high rpm.Slipper-type back torque-limiting clutch greatly facilitates braking and downshifting from high speed. Close-ratio six-speed transmission delivers seamless power and maximum acceleration.GP-style titanium muffler contributes to mass centralization and contains EXUP® for a broad powerband, and 02 sensor for spot-on injection and emissions compliance.Chassis/Suspension:Deltabox® aluminum frame incorporates GP thinking in terms of engine positioning and rigidity for the ultimate in 600-class handling. The lightweight swingarm pivots high in the frame, for increased anti- squat effect and mid-corner stability. TZ-type chain adjusters ease rear tire changes.Four-way adjustable (preload, high-speed compression, low-speed compression and rebound damping) inverted fork with 41mm tubes increases freedom in setting up for street or track use; soak up the bumps and resist bottomi

2010 Yamaha YZF-R1, 2010 Yamaha YZF-R1 Key Features: 1 . The YZF-R1 garnered the prestigious award as the 2009 Motorcycle of the Year from Motorcyclist Magazine. The YZF-R1 was chosen for its MotoGP®-inspired engine and chassis technology, and for its luxurious fit and finish.2 . Back for 2010, the YZF-R1 is the only production motorcycle with a crossplane crankshaft. Crossplane technology, first pioneered in MotoGP® racing with the M1, puts each piston 90° from the next, with an uneven firing interval of 270°- 180°- 90°- 180°. This uneven order does an amazing thing it actually lets power build more smoothly. That means smooth roll-on delivery out of the corners, with outstanding tractability, followed by very strong high rpm power. It s a feeling that s simply unmatched, like having two engines in one: the low-rpm torquey feel of a twin with the raw, high rpm power of an inline four. This breakthrough technology on the YZF-R1 represents a paradigm shift in both technology and performance.3 . This R1 keeps all the technological superiorities developed for its predecessor: YCC-T (Yamaha Chip Controlled Throttle) is MotoGP® inspired fly-by-wire technology used to deliver instant throttle response. YCC-I® is Yamaha Chip Controlled Intake which is a variable intake system that broadens the spread of power. The fuel injection system provides optimum air/fuel mixtures for maximum power and smooth throttle response.4 . The R1 features Yamaha D-MODE (or drive mode) with rider- selectable throttle control maps to program YCC-T performance characteristics for riding conditions. The standard map is designed for optimum overall performance. The A mode lets the rider enjoy sportier engine response in the low- to mid-speed range, and the B mode offers response that is somewhat less sharp for riding situations that require especially sensitive throttle operation. Switching maps is as easy as pushing a button on the handlebar switch. Features & Benefits Engine:Crossplane crankshaft technology proven in victory after victory on MotoGP® machines provides a high-tech uneven firing interval. Unlike typical inline-four engine design, where the two outer and two inner pistons move together in pairs with 180° intervals, the crossplane crankshaft has each connecting rod 90° with a unique firing order of 270° 180° 90° 180°. This overcomes the inherent fluctuations in inertial torque during each engine revolution, and the accompanying peaky torque characteristics. Instead, combustion torque continues to build, giving the rider more linear throttle response with awesome power and traction out of the corners. To maximize rider comfort as well as power output, the engine adopts a coupling-type balancer that rotates in the opposite direction as the crankshaft.Chassis/Suspension:The frame has a combination of uncompromising rigid
