2005 Yamaha FJR 1300 Sport Tourer. 145 hp Super Sport Touring bike. 49,000 miles, always covered, Michelin Pilot Road 4 tires with less than 1000 miles on them. Bar risers for a comfortable, upright riding position. Lockable, removable hard bags that can contain a full face helmet in each bag. For those not familiar with this model, it has a 1300cc in-line four cylinder, water cooled engine with a shaft drive and triple disc brakes from the R1. This bike is comfortable and fast, but consistently gets 45mpg, ON 87 OCTANE GASOLINE!!! That's right, no need to buy premium gas for this model. 145 hp on regular gas will save you a ton of money every year. It is the ultimate commuter or cross country tourer. This is a clean motorcycle with relatively low miles for a 12 year old bike. It's clean, but not perfect. There is a small scrape on the left hand engine cover from a low speed lay-down and a couple of minor scratches on the right fairing from an incident where my BMW was blown over into the FJR. The price reflects these minor damages. The current NADA retail value on it is $3850, but I'll let it go to a new home for $3500. Fresh oil change with full synthetic, as its always had. Pristine 2011 FJR1300A with two new tires (less then 300 miles on each) and low mileage; 25,864. All the fluids are new, all the appropriate maintenance is up to date, including valve adjustment. I am selling a red, 2014 FJR1300A with some cosmetic blemishes, but in great mechanical condition.I purchased the FJR secondhand in January of 2016 with approximately 1700 miles on the clock. Currently, the odometer reads right around 8350 miles. The bike has been garage kept, ridden on a regular basis and responsibly maintained. I have always followed the manufacturer's service recommendations to a T and a certified Yamaha shop recently performed the 8k mile service: oil and filter change, new spark plugs, new final-drive oil. (All maintenance records are available for review.)In addition to standard equipment (cruise control, heated grips, ABS, Traction Control, 2 riding modes, electronically adjustable windscreen, hard bags, etc.) the bike has also been fitted with HeliBars and includes a large Yamaha top box as well as the inner liners for the side cases. The tires are Michelin PowerSupersport Evo (front) and Michelin Pilot Road 4 (rear), and both still have a solid amount of tread on them. There is a bit of cupping on the front (hey -- it's Florida), but not anything that calls for a new tire at this point.The bike did sustain a 0mph tip over in a parking lot a few months ago, which is what accounts for most of the cosmetic blemishes: some scrapes on the left-side front fairing, mirror, stator cover and hard case. After the tip over, I had a certified Yamaha mechanic inspect and test ride the bike and he confirmed that there were no structural or mechanical issues at all. When I first bought the bike, the right-side mirror had some scrapes on it which I was told were due to minor damage during crating / shipping. Cash payments only.
