Original owner, LOW hours 2003 Yamaha 250F! Perfect for a new rider or someone stepping up from a smaller bike! This bike was purchased new in 2003, as a bike to learn to ride on and it has sat in a covered shed since 2006. It shows very little wear in the usual places like the pegs, engine covers, frame and swingarm. The whole bike has been gone through, front tire to rear tire, cleaned thoroughly, parts inspected, greased, torqued to spec and is ready to ride! Carburetor was completely serviced by TRE in Simi Valley, with NEW jets, NEW needle, NEW o-rings, NEW float valve, NEW accelerator pump diaphragm, wired "o-ring" accelerator pump mod, and topped off with a NEW UNI air filter. Carb still has the manufacturer paint marks visible! NEW Maxima oil and oil filter. Radiators flushed and fluid changed. NEW NGK spark plug. NEW front and rear Bridgestone Battlecross X30 tires. The ORIGINAL tires still had good tread on them but were pretty hard from sitting so I decided to swap them out. The wheel bearings and axels greased. ORIGINAL front and rear brake pads and rotors show very little wear, if any, so they were just cleaned and the brake fluid was bled. NEW DID520 chain installed. Steering stem, top and bottom bearings greased and all of the rear suspension linkage was thoroughly cleaned, inspected, greased and torqued to spec. All control cables lubed and NEW Fly grips installed. All ORIGINAL plastics still have the ORIGINAL graphics and manufacturer labels still intact. This is an extremely clean bike given the age and cold starts on the 2nd-3rd kick! Its ready to finally get out of the shed and into the dirt! 2004 Yamaha yz 250f , Excellent condition, jd jet kit, rk chain, vortex sprockets, rental bars, asv levers, Also Comes with original exhaust. Low Hour bike. Im the second owner who had it for 2 years and took it out a handful of times. I bought it with 30 hours from the original owner who had it sitting for 7 years. Very good condition, not much money. Supercross Champion...The history of the Yamaha YZ250 is the history of motocross in America. I have a great bike here. Most importantly she has a fresh motor with less than 20 hours on it. A new clutch kit including hub, bascket and friction plates, cable and lever. New plastics, graphics and seat. This bike runs great and is always reliable. Built for the track, and works great on the trails. She could use a new wheel set and some new rubber. Other than that she starts easy and runs great. Always maintained. I am willing to send more pictures and info on request.

Standard Features May Include: Liquid-cooled, DOHC 4-valve, fuel-injected engine with the same forward-positioned, straight intake, rear-inclined cylinder, and rear-positioned exhaust layout as the YZ450F. The 4-titanium-valve cylinder head is matched to a fuel injection system that provides power at mid-to-high rpm. The fuel injection system instantly adjusts the air/fuel mixtures depending on altitude and temperature, for a hesitation-free engine that delivers no matter the conditions. The aluminum Bilateral Beam frame offers a superb rigidity balance and provides unmatched lightweight handling. The exhaust pipe has an innovative layout, circling the cylinder, giving the exhaust pipe proper length for an excellent exhaust pulse effect. At the same time, the exhaust pipe has three different diameters throughout the exhaust tract, bringing out excellent power characteristics. This layout allows the silencer behind the side panel, making it closer to the middle of the bike for centralized mass for superior handling. The layout of the seat, fuel tank, air box, and wrap-around exhaust system moves the bike s mass towards the center for exceptional handling. The front intake layout with large air filter element adds the benefit of reduced air filter maintenance due to its positioning away from dirt roost from the rear wheel. Accessory GYTR® Power Tuner lets owners adjust air/fuel mixture and ignition timing maps to match engine performance characteristics to the rider and track conditions in a matter of seconds with the push of a few buttons. The adjustable fuel injection system uses a 44mm throttle body fed by a high-pressure battery-less electric fuel pump. This ensures optimum fuel atomization and air/fuel calibration for excellent rideability in a wide range of riding conditions. The system controls the volume of fuel injected and the ignition timing based on engine rpm and throttle opening, providing hesitation-free response and controllability. The compact wet sump lubrication system with piston cooler spray jet maintains excellent engine durability and eliminates the need for an oil tank, which lowers engine weight.
