Original owner, LOW hours 2003 Yamaha 250F! Perfect for a new rider or someone stepping up from a smaller bike! This bike was purchased new in 2003, as a bike to learn to ride on and it has sat in a covered shed since 2006. It shows very little wear in the usual places like the pegs, engine covers, frame and swingarm. The whole bike has been gone through, front tire to rear tire, cleaned thoroughly, parts inspected, greased, torqued to spec and is ready to ride! Carburetor was completely serviced by TRE in Simi Valley, with NEW jets, NEW needle, NEW o-rings, NEW float valve, NEW accelerator pump diaphragm, wired "o-ring" accelerator pump mod, and topped off with a NEW UNI air filter. Carb still has the manufacturer paint marks visible! NEW Maxima oil and oil filter. Radiators flushed and fluid changed. NEW NGK spark plug. NEW front and rear Bridgestone Battlecross X30 tires. The ORIGINAL tires still had good tread on them but were pretty hard from sitting so I decided to swap them out. The wheel bearings and axels greased. ORIGINAL front and rear brake pads and rotors show very little wear, if any, so they were just cleaned and the brake fluid was bled. NEW DID520 chain installed. Steering stem, top and bottom bearings greased and all of the rear suspension linkage was thoroughly cleaned, inspected, greased and torqued to spec. All control cables lubed and NEW Fly grips installed. All ORIGINAL plastics still have the ORIGINAL graphics and manufacturer labels still intact. This is an extremely clean bike given the age and cold starts on the 2nd-3rd kick! Its ready to finally get out of the shed and into the dirt!
