1997 Triumph Sprint 900 in Excellent Condition!  Only 6,729 miles as of 3/17/17!  Clear MD title in my name. This bike is in almost perfect condition and has been well taken care of.  The tires & brakes are in great shape. The following has been done within the last few hundred miles:  Oil and filter change (Mobil 1 4T full synthetic motorcycle-specific oil).  Check & adjust the valve clearances.  Clean & synchronize the carbs including replacing the floats and other carb parts with parts that aren’t affected by the ******** ethanol in gasoline nowadays!  The carbs were properly jetted for the nice-sounding Micron exhaust system.  New fuel tap.  Repaired/corrected sidestand.  Official Triumph service manual.  New spark plugs.  Brake fluid was replaced as was the fluid for the hydraulic clutch.  The cooling system was also flushed & re-filled with new coolant.  New K&N air filter.  Newly recovered seat in matching green and gray material---very comfy!  New handgrips.   “Triumph” tank pad.  Extras include a brand-new sidestand & a countershaft sprocket.  No flaws in the paint except for a small place where the seat has rubbed thru the paint on the tank.  You can’t see it when the seat is installed.  A new battery was installed last summer.  This bike also has the very rare optional Triump security system installed on it.  The bike starts right up, idles fine, and runs thru all 6 gears extremely well!  This is a great, low-mileage example of Triumph’s 900cc (actually, 885cc) triple.  If you talk to knowledgeable people, they’ll tell you that the 885 motor is better (from a reliability/longevity perspective) than either of the Triumph triple examples that followed it later.  I previously owned a 1996 Triumph Tiger with the same drivetrain---it was still running great (with nearly 90,000 miles on it, if I remember correctly) when I sold it.  I also owned a Triumph identical, except for color, to this one.  A great bike, too!  I just have too many bikes… The Micron exhaust sounds a bit snarly but is not obnoxiously loud.I’m asking $2,895 for this bike.  That’s a bit more than book value.  My price reflects the fact that the bike is sorted-out and has very low mileage on it.
