2014 Triumph Thunderbird Storm ABS, 2014 Triumph Thunderbird Storm ABS Less chrome, more power and more attitude. The Thunderbird Storm comes with an 1700cc engine and hard-edged style.Based on our original Thunderbird, the Storm keeps the pure Triumph twinned headlights but adds a low, blacked out look that's mean and minimalist for massive street presence backed up by huge torque and confident handling. We squeezed 102cc more from the muscle-bound parallel twin engine so that it packs an even bigger punch. Still laid-back but underpinned by serious power and the best handling in the class. This is a cruiser with a dark side. Standard Features May Include: Engine We took the 1597cc parallel twin from the Thunderbird and boosted its capacity to 1699cc with 3.3mm bigger pistons in huge, 107.1mm bores. So the Thunderbird Storm does have a classic-looking engine that packs a mighty punch, but that power is delivered smoothly thanks to twin balance shafts. The result of the Thunderbird Storm s bigger engine is more power at 98PS. And an even higher peak torque at 115lb.ft right down at 2,950rpm with more torque across the rev range. So it delivers instant thrust when you twist the throttle, even at very low rpm. Belt Drive The final drive is an inverted tooth belt with carbon fibre strands to give it a higher tensile strength than steel. While the pulleys have a patented ultra-hard coating that minimises wear so that the whole belt drive system needs very little attention. It's really quiet and clean too. 6 Speed Gearbox The transmission uses a six-speed gearbox with a tall top ratio for relaxed highway cruising and exceptional fuel efficiency. Fuel Efficiency We gave the Thunderbird Storm double overhead camshafts and four valves per cylinder, along with a very tall top ratio in the six-speed transmission for a great ride and to help the fuel economy. Even at 75mph you get almost 50mpg, as good as some commuter bikes. Suspension We gave the Thunderbird Storm fat 47mm diameter forks with plenty of travel at 120mm. And the rear shocks are adjustable for spring preload so you can set the bike up to suit your load or riding style. Handling We used all of our engineering expertise in making the geometry just right, so the Thunderbird Storm steers as great as it looks. Even at low speeds. And it has to be extremely stable when going faster, yet amazingly agile when you ask it to change direction rapidly. So you get a bike that s responsive, even in the tight, low speed manoeuvres that some cruisers make hard work of. Brakes We wanted plenty of stopping power to match the engine on the Thunderbird Storm. So you get a pair of four-piston callipers at the front to scrub off speed in an instant

2014 Triumph Speedmaster Standard, 2014 Triumph Speedmaster Long, low, blacked out and mean, the Speedmaster echoes the hot-rod cruiser theme but adds a very British spin with some classic Triumph parallel twin power. Built to be an engaging entry level bike that's also ideal for riders moving to their first big bike the Speedmaster has the zest and handling to keep experienced riders happy too. Everything about it is laid back and easy. The low rider look is a classic one reflecting the style of homebuilt hot-rods on both sides of the Atlantic. But the soul of any bike is its engine. And that s where the Speedmaster stands out even more, with an air-cooled twin that is steeped in our long and colourful heritage. All this means you have a highly capable motorcycle that has a great feel and delivers satisfying performance every single day. That s what makes it such good value for money. Standard Features May Include: Styling The look of the Speedmaster is dominated by the 19 cast aluminium front wheel with single disc brake and skinny tyre, giving a classic chopped hot-rod look. Emphasising the Speedmaster s resolutely dark attitude even further a whole host of components from wheels to bars and headlights to foot controls get the black treatment for 2014. Machined detailing on the engine barrel block and cylinder head cooling fins add a subtle counterpoint. Engine The output peaks at a muscular 61PS and there's strong torque from low in the rev range, with a maximum of 53lb.ft at just 3300rpm. To you that means plenty of thrust at a flick of the wrist without needing to resort to the slick gear change. Parallel Twin The Speedmaster's parallel twin is such a refreshing change with its roots in the very engines that brought us to the forefront of motorcycling during the 1950s and 1960s - the golden era of British twins. Still very much a classic-looking Triumph engine, we have built it using modern Triumph technology, cleverly hiding it behind that traditional exterior. We've also retained the air cooling to give you a bike that looks right but, although it seems to have twin carburettors, the Speedmaster is fuelled by a modern electronic fuel injection system for high efficiency, plenty of smooth and accessible power and exceptional fuel consumption. Frame Holding everything together and keeping it in line is our traditional-style tubular steel cradle frame with steel swingarm, using the engine as an essential component to give you exceptional rigidity for stable, sure-footed handling. Suspension The suspension doesn't suffer for the sake of the Speedmaster's style. We fitted high quality KYB forks and shocks with a generous 120mm travel at the front and 96mm travel at the rear, enoug

2015 Triumph Thunderbird Commander ABS Two-Tone, 2015 Triumph Thunderbird Commander Two-Tone A strong, willing engine, refined chassis, powerful looks and broad riding position give our new Thunderbird Commander the power and presence to dominate any road. Based on our original Thunderbird, the Commander easily impresses riders and onlookers with its classic cruiser style, premium feel and the world s largest capacity parallel twin engine. And being a Triumph, it s a cruiser that also gives you day-long comfort, practicality, character and, on top of all that, superb handling. There s no compromise here. Features May Include: Engine Along with the rest of the Commander, this engine was designed to have impact on the eye as well as the road, with machined engine fins and chrome covers contrasting against deep black barrels and crankcases. Chassis The Thunderbird Commander is bold all over. We took the engine s dominant styling and continued the theme across the entire bike with the quality and level of detailing you d only expect from a Triumph cruiser. A massive polished top yoke and polished stainless steel fork shrouds, signature Triumph twin headlamps, bespoke Commander badges and Art Deco LED tail light and rear indicator assembly all combine for a powerful, low, lean, sleek custom cruiser look. Engine This is the largest capacity parallel twin motorcycle engine in the world. Based on the original Thunderbird parallel twin, the beating heart of the new Commander generates an organic, torque-rich riding experience unmatched for sheer grunt and ease-of-use. Configuration Being a Triumph, the Thunderbird Commander is packed full of modern engineering. We added double overhead camshafts and a crankshaft with 270 degree firing intervals, to give you an engine with authentic cruiser character. Whilst the fuelling is looked after by a sequential fuel injection system and progressive throttle linkage so your engine delivers its torque exactly the way you expect. Belt Drive We gave the Commander a belt final drive for low maintenance and long life. Performance Powered by a pair of saucer-sized forged pistons, the 1699cc eight-valve, DOHC engine s uneven 270° firing interval and long-stroke design produces a potent 94PS (93bhp) at 5400rpm and a huge 151Nm (111 lb.ft) of torque at a lowly 3550rpm, giving the Commander bags of twin-cylinder character. Transmission Developed and refined by our engineers so that the Commander gives you performance through a seamless, snatch-free transmission. Chassis There s no handling compromise when you choose a Triumph cruiser, and the Thunderbird Commander is no exception. Engineered to be responsive, agile and deceptively easy to turn, even at low speeds, the Commander marries tuned geometry with a low centr

Fuel Efficiency Even the fuel economy figures of the Rocket III Touring look impressive. 51.9mpg at 56mph and 41.9mpg at 75mph means you get well over 150 miles out of a single tank. Model Daytona 675

2013 Triumph Daytona 675, 2013 Triumph Daytona 675 The previous Daytona 675 certainly is a tough act to follow. So just how did we improve on it? The all-new triple motor is more compact, and more powerful, which allowed us to re-design the frame to be smaller, lighter and narrower than before. That, combined with a bigger airbox, new swingarm, lighter wheels and new, sharper, bodywork means we ve succeeded in making the new Daytona 675 more agile, more responsive, and more forgiving than ever before. To ensure the new Daytona 675 had the perfect balance of power and performance, we looked at every component. From the motor to the frame to the wheels to the lights, even to individual nuts and bolts, we made them lighter, stronger, smaller, smoother. We did whatever we had to do to make this bike, above all bikes, perfect. Features May Include Engine The Daytona s triple engine is completely new. The cylinder block is now solid aluminium with ceramic coated liners, making the whole unit inherently stronger. This allowed us to increase the torque and engine speed, giving you more power. Amazingly, we could achieve all this whilst maintaining an overall narrow and compact package. Power is up from 125ps to 128ps and from 73Nm to 75Nm. By increasing the rev limit to 14,400 rpm, with a larger bore and shorter stroke, the engine is now even more responsive to rider input. Peak power is now at 12,600rpm running up to that new redline, and with more power delivered more smoothly throughout the rev range roll the throttle and you ll be rewarded with instant drive. To give the motor more air to breathe, we increased the size of the air intake and channelled the airflow through the headstock, so we can force even more air in and create more power. The new engine now operates with twin injectors per cylinder, which are both compact and provide more accurate fuelling. Revised mapping has helped boost the torque throughout the rev range. But we ve also made this Daytona engine cleaner and therefore more fuel-efficient . A more powerful triple engine, revving at higher speeds, demanded the highest specification valves. We chose titanium for the new Daytona 675. Not only are they stronger, they re lighter and have been reshaped to provide a smoother gas flow , resulting in performance boosts throughout the rev range. Mass Centralisation The closer to the centre a bike it carries its weight, the better handling the bike will be. By relocating the silencer to under the engine, rapid direction changes are now more fluid and more controlled. Rider input is rewarded with an incredibly controlled response. Suspension Front and rear KYB suspension is, of course, fully adjustable. Both front and rear suspension have the added advantage of separate low- and high-speed compression damping adjustment, making the Daytona as forgiving on the road as it is focused

2014 Triumph Tiger 800 XC, 2014 Triumph Tiger 800 XC ABS We built the Tiger 800XC to be just like the Tiger 800, but with a little bit more Using the rugged Tiger 800 as a starting point, we added a pack of special off-road equipment so you can keep on going when you run out of tarmac. The three-cylinder engine is the same 800cc triple found in the Tiger 800 so it s got loads of torque and muscular power. And the tough steel frame and long distance fuel range are from the Tiger 800 too. The added XC is what gives you the next-level off-road ability. This is a hard-core bike that you can cross continents on, whether or not there are roads going in that direction. Just load it up and go. Standard Features May Include: Suspension The suspension travel for the Tiger 800XC is a huge 220mm at the front, 215mm at the rear. Just what you need on poor condition trails. We fitted 45mm Showa upside down forks along with a preload and rebound adjustable Showa monoshock so you can adjust for either off or on-road riding. Brakes We needed to give you enough stopping force on the road without being too sharp or intimidating in the dirt. So at the front of the Tiger 800XC is a pair of two-piston sliding callipers and 308mm discs, with a single-piston calliper at the rear and a 255mm disc. ABS is standard but this can be switched off for off-road riding where you might want to be able to lock up a wheel. Wheels We added spoked wheels to the Tiger 800XC for better cushioning on rough terrain. The front is a big 21inch diameter to take dedicated off-road tyres and cope with holes and ridges. And the front mudguard is higher so that clogging mud won t spoil your ride. Riding Position We built the Tiger 800XC to have genuine off-road capability, so it s tall with an upright and very spacious riding position. We made the bars wider than the standard Tiger 800s to give you extra manoeuvrability and the seat is lofty, although it's easily adjusted without the need for tools. Despite your high up stance the screen does a great job of fending off the wind pressure so you can stay at motorway speeds for as long as you need. We even gave your passenger plenty of room, chunky grab handles and well positioned footrests so long distances are no less comfortable on the back than they are for you. Frame As you d expect the Tiger 800XC uses the same tubular steel trellis frame as the Tiger 800 so you know it s strong enough to take the knocks during serious off road use. The rear subframe is the same, designed to take our capacious panniers and big top box, plus a passenger, then go places where pure road bikes daren't venture. Engine The three-cylinder 95PS engine, like the rest of the Tiger 800XC, is made for adventure. With so m

Frame We ve achieved exceptional strength and stiffness from a steel twin spine frame that includes the engine as an integral component. It s what makes the Rocket III Touring such an agile and engaging big bike to ride. Suspension Designed for long distance comfort. Chromed twin rear shocks and funky forks with chromed shrouds aren t there just to look pretty, they contain sophisticated damping components that give you outstanding wheel control in low urban speeds or enthusiastic cornering. Brakes We had to give a bike with such big personality and performance a pair of four-piston calipers up front on large diameter 320mm discs.
