2017 Husqvarna 701 Supermoto, 2017 Husqvarna® 701 Supermoto THE ESSENCE OF RIDING With close to 70 hp, advanced electronics and a state-of-the-art chassis, the 145 kg 701 Supermoto captures the thrill of the race track and brings the pure riding essence of Supermoto to the street. Features may include: Engine The single overhead cam, liquid cooled, single cylinder engine features the latest in design and electronic technology. An outstanding maximum power output of 49 kW (67 hp) at 7,000 rpm and torque of 67 Nm at 6,500 rpm leave the rider in no doubt of the performance packed inside this lightweight unit Cylinder head The compact design of the single overhead cam cylinder head features 40 mm steel intake valves weighing just 48 g thanks to their hollow stem design, and 34 mm exhaust valves weighing 46.5 g. Ignition is via a double spark plug layout, each of which has an individual ignition timing control for optimal fuel combustion in the large bore combustion chamber. Refined engine behaviour and optimum power delivery are the results. Ride-by-wire throttle The Keihin electronic fuel injection system features a 46 mm throttle body with no mechanical linkage to the throttle grip. As the rider twists the throttle open or closed, the throttle valve is electronically controlled by the engine management system (EMS). The EMS continuously compares engine parameters with data from sensors, and adjusts the throttle valve accordingly, resulting in perfect power delivery and throttle response. Gearbox A lightweight 6 speed gearbox with smooth and precise shifting gives riders perfect control and confidence even in extreme conditions. Wheels Black anodised Giant tubeless spoked wheels are lightweight and strong. The 17" wheels are shod with Continental ContiAttack Supermoto 120/70 and 160/60 tyres front and rear respectively for extraordinarily light handling and exceptional control at all lean angles. Engine maps Three engine maps are available and can be selected via a switch under the seat. Riders can choose between "Standard", "Soft" and "Advanced" engine setups according to riding conditions. Brakes Amazing stopping power and control are available at the rider's demand thanks to the radially mounted 4 piston Brembo calliper and floating disc at the front, and the single piston calliper, floating disc at the rear (320 and 240 mm diameters respectively). The latest ABS technology from Bosch with Supermoto mode guarantees maximum safety and total confidence. Slipper clutch The APTC (Adler Power Torque Clutch) from Adler allows for greater speeds going into and coming out of corners by maximising rear wheel grip under hard acceleration as well as preventing rear wheel instability and hopping when braking hard into the apex of a turn. The rider thus enjoys maximum control and perfect down-shifting.

2015 Triumph Tiger Explorer ABS, 2015 Triumph Tiger Explorer ABS Being a Tiger, this is a bike built for adventure. Exploring new roads, even new countries and not stopping just because the road does. But we made the Tiger Explorer for every rider that wants rugged dependability, long distance comfort, a powerful and torquey engine with an extended fuel range, fine handling and the ability to cope with unmade roads. And we didn t stop there. We added high levels of sophisticated equipment, including ABS, traction control and cruise control along with the special character that comes with a Triumph three cylinder engine, and handling so natural and easy the bike is just as much at home in town as on the tundra. Features May Include: PERFORMANCE LWe gave the Explorer a 1215cc three-cylinder engine. Built with the latest technology to be strong, dependable and have the low maintenance levels you need on long adventures. It has plenty of power and torque with a hefty 137PS at 9300rpm, and 121Nm at just 6400rpm. Useable torque low down in the rev range where you need it most. Not only does the Tiger Explorer boast great power, its engine has an evocative character with a creamy power delivery and unmistakable Triumph growling soundtrack. RIDE-BY-WIRE The fuel injection is controlled by a ride-by-wire throttle system using computer control to give you the torque you need in the most efficient, predictable way. DOUBLE OVERHEAD CAMS Double overhead camshafts operate the four valves per cylinder for an engine that does what it was made to do even when the bike is fully loaded with rider, passenger, a full complement of luggage and facing a steep mountain climb. SHAFT DRIVE We designed a rugged transmission comprising of a strong six-speed gearbox and an exceptionally tough shaft final drive. This gives you smooth power delivery yet is capable of dealing with the shocks and knocks it can face off-road. And, it hardly needs any maintenance, so you can get on with your ride without worrying about it. FRAME We built the tubular steel frame of the Tiger Explorer in the same style as other Triumphs. But it's made extra tough to deal with the stresses of off-road riding and on the road too, where you can load the Tiger Explorer heavily and still ride at high speeds or on badly maintained back roads in full control and comfort. SUSPENSION The suspension on the Tiger Explorer is built to cope with any kind of riding condition. We used tough 46mm forks at the front with an extended 190mm of travel, ideal for rough roads and long distance comfort. And at the rear, the single shock provides 194mm of travel and features a hydraulic remote preload adjuster and adjustable rebound damping. BRAKES Braking is looked after by a pair of 4-piston callipers and twin 305mm disc

It s built into every single component of the new XCx Fully equipped for long adventures with technology that adds improved handling and opens up whole new horizons, this is the Tiger taken to a different level. Selecting between three different Riding Modes, ROAD, OFF-ROAD and programmable RIDER MODE, you can configure your preferred throttle map, ABS and Triumph Traction Control, for a completely tailored and thrilling adventure ride. The dedicated Trip Computer and the Cruise Control enable you to amass miles with complete confidence. The off-road soul of the bike is emphasized by the adventure pack including hand guards, aluminium sump guard, centre stand, additional power socket and engine protection bars. Features May Include: ADVANCED ABS The XCx adds a more advanced ABS system that can be changed between ROAD, OFF-ROAD, and OFF. When the Off-Road mode is selected, the ABS is disabled to the rear wheel and the system also allows a level of front wheel slip. This provides the rider with a level of electronic intervention under braking whilst optimizing their off road enjoyment. TRACTION CONTROL The higher specification XCx has traction control that can be configured to Road, Off-Road, or Off settings. In the Off-Road mode, the traction control system allows increased rear wheel slip compared to the Road mode. Riders can configure their traction control preferences in conjunction with the 3 Rider Mode settings. THROTTLE MAPS With a choice of 4 different throttle maps, riders can select the optimum setting to meet both riding and weather conditions. The throttle maps can easily be changed between Rain, Road, Sport, or Off-Road via the switch cube to provide greater levels of control to meet changing conditions. 3 RIDING MODES On the XCx, riders can very simply configure the bike to the terrain with the choice of 3 Rider Modes. This automatically configures the ABS, Traction Control, and Throttle Maps to best tackle the route ahead. With a choice of ROAD, OFF-ROAD, or PROGRAMMABLE RIDER MODE, all of the electronic safety devices are optimized for the conditions. The PROGRAMMABLE RIDER MODE is fully configurable and allows the rider to select their chosen settings for ABS, Traction Control, and a choice of 4 x Throttle Maps independently.
