1973 Triumph T100R Daytona Frame No. T100R KH16428 Engine No. T100R KH16428 Considered the last year of the true classic Triumph motorcycles, here is a stunning and tastefully restored Daytona Café. With less than 8,500 actual miles, this three-owner example displays the iconic two-toned tank, chrome accessories and ergonomic layout which have brought so much fame to this timeless design. Carefully restored in recent years with a mild Café Racer theme, many items were preserved and kept unrestored such as all of the chrome, headlight and sidecovers among others; while the frame and other black items were powdercoated for lasting durability and the numbers-matching engine/transmission were rebuilt to new. Less than 500 miles have been driven since the work was performed and the bike rides exceptionally well. The engine is easily brought to life with one swift kick, riding effortlessly with modern traffic and around the twisties. Attention was taken not to over modify the Triumph in its current configuration. In fact, the original seat, handlebars, taillight and rear grab rail accompany the sale, along with saddle bags and additional original parts.
