My Triumph starts on the first or second kick and runs great! I'd be glad to send videos of it starting and running to bidders (bidders only). This is a numbers matching bike. I have owned this bike for the last 10 years approximately. I bought it here on eBay from a gentleman in Rochester, NY. He had it garaged for the previous 13 years and didn't use much so it needed some mechanical work. Once I received it I took it to the best mechanic of British bikes in town and he has been the only mechanic of the bike since then. Most of the below listed upgrades were done to it then and it's been mainly maintenance since then. I have ridden the bike on weekends and only short distances at a time. When I don't take it out (it rains a lot in Miami), I make sure I start it and warm it up a little. I've changed the oils often and have used only the best on her. I've kept most of the parts that have been replaced (originals I assume) and many are still in good condition and could be reused. For the new parts I've always bought the best available and have most if not all the receipts. Here are some of the upgrades: Change from points to electronic system, new clutch, new valves and guides, new spark plug cables, new coils, new carburetors, increase of transmission ratio to make it quicker (larger front), new brake pads, brand new tires, new battery, new fork boots. It is mechanically perfect, with a small investment on detailing this bike, this will could be a show bike. Notes: Buyer responsible for arranging pick up, freight, parts shipping etc.
1973 Triumph T100R Daytona Frame No. T100R KH16428 Engine No. T100R KH16428 Considered the last year of the true classic Triumph motorcycles, here is a stunning and tastefully restored Daytona Café. With less than 8,500 actual miles, this three-owner example displays the iconic two-toned tank, chrome accessories and ergonomic layout which have brought so much fame to this timeless design. Carefully restored in recent years with a mild Café Racer theme, many items were preserved and kept unrestored such as all of the chrome, headlight and sidecovers among others; while the frame and other black items were powdercoated for lasting durability and the numbers-matching engine/transmission were rebuilt to new. Less than 500 miles have been driven since the work was performed and the bike rides exceptionally well. The engine is easily brought to life with one swift kick, riding effortlessly with modern traffic and around the twisties. Attention was taken not to over modify the Triumph in its current configuration. In fact, the original seat, handlebars, taillight and rear grab rail accompany the sale, along with saddle bags and additional original parts. It has brought me countless joy to enjoy and admire, and now here is your opportunity to own one of the last great classics. I am happy to help arrange domestic or worldwide shipping. The Triumph comes with a free and clear Texas title in MY name. Buyer is responsible for their own registration, local taxes and fees. PayPal down payment is due upon auction conclusion and remainder within 5 days, or the sale will be cancelled without refund.

THIS 1974 TRIUMPH T100R IS AMAZINGLY ORIGINAL. THIS IS THE LAST YEAR FOR THE T100R DAYTONA. THE OWNER BEFORE ME HAD OWNED IT FOR 29 YEARS. IT HAS FLAWLESS BLACK PAINT ON THE TANK, OIL TANK AND SIDE COVER. THIS BIKE ORIGINALLY CAME WITH DUAL AMAL CARBURETORS, BUT HAS BEEN CHANGED TO A SINGLE. THE TIRES ARE IN LIKE NEW CONDITION. I DON'T KNOW HOW OLD THEY ARE BUT I CAN'T SEE ANY CRACKS OR CHECKING. IT IS MISSING THE TACHOMETER CABLE AND THE SPEEDOMETER WORK BUT READS TOO FAST. NOT SURE WHY. THE ENGINE STARTS ON THE FIRST OR 2ND KICK ALMOST EVERY TIME,AND RUNS SWEET.IT ALSO HAS A NEW SEAT COVER.THIS BIKE IS READY TO GO FOR A RIDE RIGHT NOW. SOME OF THE MAJOR PARTS NEEDING TO BE RE-CHROMED ARE THE FRONT FENDER, FRONT RIM, EXHAUST PIPES AND THE HEADLIGHT SHELL. I ALSO HAVE NEW FRONT FORK BOOTS THAT WILL GO WITH THE BIKE. THE ENGINE RUNS AND SOUNDS ABSOLUTELY PERFECT AND HAS GOOD POWER. OVERALL BUT DOES SMOKE A LITTLE. ALSO, IT CAN,BUT NOT ALWAYS JUMP OUT OF FIRST GEAR UNDER HARD ACCELERATION. I UNDERSTAND THIS IS A FAIRLY COMMON PROBLEM WITH THE T100's. THIS BIKE IS VERY ORIGINAL AND UNMOLESTED, AND IT WOULD BE AN EASY BIKE TO RESTORE. IT'S ALL THERE,OR JUST RIDE IT AND ENJOY IT THE WAY IT IS. THE FRAME NUMBER IS T100R JJ**484 AND THE ENGINE IS T100R JJ**484. THIS BIKE HAS IT'S ORIGINAL ENGINE. THERE IS A $500.00 NON REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT REQUIRED WITHIN 48 HOURS AFTER THE END OF THE AUCTION. THE BALANCE IS DUE WITHIN 7 DAYS AFTER THE END OF THE AUCTION.THE BUYER IS RESPONSIBLE FOR ALL SHIPPING COSTS AND ARRANGEMENTS. I WILL DO WHATEVER I CAN TO WORK WITH THE SHIPPERS SCHEDULE. '
