It’s ready to ride so buy this machine and hit the road! Always gets compliments! Here’s a long list of what’s been done so far: Upgraded electric ignition. It's still a kick start but has an easier time starting with the new ignition. Choke added New Avon Roadrider tires New Hagon rear shocks New high quality Motobatt sealed battery Forks have been rebuilt with new seals & fork oil Front & Rear brake pads, lines, and brake fluid were recently replaced Original seat just professionally restored with Triumph brand skin & new foam, looks and feels great! 1982 Triumph Bonneville Royal750cc Aluminum WheelsRuns and drive great, very clean bike. Very Rare Motorcycle: See Description Below. CELEBRATING A ROYAL WEDDINGBy 1982, Triumph was on the ropes. They were unable to re-engineer their bikes they way they needed to, or even produce enough units to make a profit, due to their severe financial constraints. It was thought that lower-volume, higher-profit "special models" might save the day. Several were proposed and a few were tried. Most fizzled in the marketplace. One such effort was the T140LE Royal Wedding, built to commemorate the British royal wedding of Prince Charles to Lady Diana Spencer. Built in very low numbers, believed to be less than 1,000, the Royal Wedding was styled differently, depending on which market it was intended for. Why did they do it? Who knows? To build two different models of the same limited-edition special that was already being built in minuscule numbers doesn't make much sense today looking back. But who knows what they were thinking at the time. US-SPEC ROYAL WEDDINGThe US-spec Royal Weddings looked pretty much like normal T140ESs with with mag wheels. But they got a model-specific black paint job with gold pinstriping and no kneepads, dual front disk brakes, and blacked out fork sliders and headlight brackets. Not much uniqueness for a "special". The UK-version was by far the more handsome and "special"-looking.

1979 Triumph 750 Bonneville:-Changed stock clutch to L.P. Williams Triumph Racing Clutch three months ago (wow! what a difference, extremely smooth.) Clutch plates, disc, and housing replaced. This clutch dose not drag and has a light trigger pull with a super positive engagement. -Avon Tires- are about eight years old with less then six hundred miles on them.-Rebuilt Carburetors six months ago. The bike was not ridden for seven years, just started every once in a while. Fuel lines were also replaced. Oil, gear lube, and plugs changed 3 months ago. The bike was not ridden for seven years, just started every once in a while. Intake and exhaust valves adjusted at the same time.-Custom paint job was done over factory tank paint, and was air brushed. And then clear coated. (see pics)Sorry this is not a matching #s bike. You can see by the pictures I have a shot of the side case where the serial number should be.Whats there is just the triumph stamps. I asked Bob At Rabers Triumph shop what he thought about that. Bob said at some point the case had been replaced maybe because it spun a berring. Case halfs match well so this means that they were both replaced. So its not that it dosen't match, the engine has no number.I have no idea how many miles are on the bike as the speedometer was not working when I got it.(The speedo cable vibrated loose from gauge).I don,t think it has to many miles on it as it is a nonrestored bike that has been well maintained and is in very very good condition.(Just look at pics)This bike is in great mechanical condition and ready to ride for a long time!!! I have all parts to put bike back to stock. (see pics)The wiring harness has not been cut.The frame has no holes drilled in it nor has it been cut or alter.I also have a pair of short pipes if you want to make some noise. (see pics)Also a pair of amal carbs and side cases.Work needed; Could use fork seals and dust covers. Will accept paypal.
