2009 Buell Blast, A Two Wheeled Piece Of Engineering History - FUN FACTOR The Buell Blast is a machine that represents everything there is to love about sport riding. It?s lightweight, perfectly balanced and thanks to Buell Intuitive Design and Engineering it?s also a very capable corner-carver. Some of the innovative design features included the use of an automatically tensioned belt final drive, self-adjusting hydraulic valve lifters, and a carburetor with an automatic choke. The engine design was borrowed form Harley's Evolution Sportster engine with the rear cylinder eliminated. The plastic bodywork pieces of the Blast were made from Surlyn, a substance used to make the outside of golf balls, to protect the surfaces. Here's an opportunity to own a piece of history, at a great value.

1979 Honda CX500, A Honda Never Grows Old - The Honda CX series motorcycles were developed and released by Honda in the late 1970s. The design included innovative features and technologies that were uncommon or unused at the time such as liquid cooling, electric-only starting, low-maintenance shaft drive, modular wheels, and dual CV-type carburetors that were tuned for reduced emissions. The electronic ignition system was separate from the rest of the electrical system, enabling the motorcycle to be push-started and ridden in case of a total electrical system failure. This CX500 came in on a recent trade and only has 7300 original miles on it. A great runabout for those looking to roll past the gas pumps.
