The Harley-Davidson Road King is a classic cruiser in every respect, combining Harley heritage styling with long-range touring comfort. The first Road King debuted in 1994, replacing the FLHS Electra Glide Sport. On the original model, the Road King featured a nostalgic full-dresser-style headlight cover first seen on the Big Twins of the 1960s and a signature H-D five-gallon Fat Bob fuel tank with twin gas caps. Then on to the Hiawatha head lamp featured on this '99. The Road King s simple handlebar-mounted windshield and saddlebags were other styling cues reminiscent of the old Electra Glides but the windshield is quick detach. Since its inception, the Road King has been a favorite among fans of The Motor Company. 2000 Harley-Davidson Electra Glide Ultra Classic - FLHTCU, Just In A Nice Bagger That Won't Break The Bank The Electra Glide Ultra Classic, is Harley's flagship model with complete touring gear including hard saddle bags and trunk as well as lower fairing in the front. The FLHTCUI is Harley-speak for Big Twin Ultra Classic with fuel injection. This nice '00 Ultra Classic Electra Glide is a full dress touring model with touring luggage and fiberglass fairing and big old captain chair-like seats made of supple soft leather. And this one even has the rider backrest. The Ultra Classic is the top of the H-D line. The bike has cruise control and every sort of bell and whistle you can imagine. The 2000 Big Twin displaces 88 cubic inches and this one has sequential port fuel injection to boot, which was optional for 2000. The tranny is five speed which is a good proven gear box that can cruise all day at highway speedsFull instrumentation is mounted in the distinctive batwing fairing, including 40 watt stereo with CD player and CB radio and intercom and gauges, including speedometer, tachometer, oil pressure, volt meter, ambient temperature, gasoline, etc. You fill the five-gallon fuel tank through a single cap under a big chrome disk where the speedometer usually sits on regular Big Twin Harleys. There is an intercom so you can plug your helmet(s) in and you and your passenger communicate thru your helmets. The intercom gives you clear voice communication and cuts the stereo out when you speak. There is also CB Citizen's Band where you can broadcast to your biker bros, if you are traveling in a pack. That makes it real convenient to coordinate route changes, pit stops, and rest stops. Full dress without the full dress price!
