The Boulevard's liquid-cooled, 45-degree, SOHC V-twin engine is housed in a cradle-type tubular-steel frame. The engine rumbles to life instantly. There s good low-end torque to pull it strongly up hills, and the shaft drive s output is as smooth as a grilled peanut butter and banana sandwich. The two-into-two Cobra exhaust sounds appropriately throaty without being overly loud. And at just over 4700 miles this fresh trade has a long life ahead of it.

Suzuki claims to have installed a short-duration cam and, of course, the tuned dual exhaust system to help make even more power out of the motor. To keep vibes to an acceptable level, the crankshaft features 45° offset crank pins to reduce engine vibration. The seat and riding position create a comfortable setting for those who really want to cruise. This Volusia is more than just a bargain, it's an absolute steal.
